Went here and the guy cut and made three of my fingers bleed. Very rude, I came in with a specific color I was looking for, and when I showed him the photo, he gave me one of their books and told me to pick from only those few. When I asked if there were any other options he told me to pick and that he didn't have all day. He was very rude and told me to come in next time knowing what I want so I don't take all day. read more

My nails are horribe!! If you go to insta do not get the giy in the back with the hat!

I've been going here for a few years now. I drive from Woodbridge just to go to this salon. No matter how long I go between fills, my nails never break. The work they do is amazing. Whenever I have a request, they execute it perfectly. read more

We went to get 2 pedicures and the young guy who did mine was very unfriendly, not even a hello. Cut my manicure way too short, my fingers hurt a day later. Service has changed dramatically. read more

I've been a loyal customer for about a year now. Unfortunately, I have the worst fungus on everyone of my fingernails. I had to go to the Dr's for a prescription. It's going to take a long time for this to go away. The last time I went the technician barely gave me the time of day. One time the technician left my fingers in acetone for at least 30 minutes while they were eating. read more

Insta Nails and Spa - Ummmmm.. will post an update when done... feeling some kind of way - Nail Salons Near Me - Point Pleasant, New Jersey

I used to come here all the time and loved coming here. I was always patient with them when they were busy, never asked for anything crazy, and tipped well every time. Last two times I called for a appointment they told me yes ok come in and then it was "oh for nails sorry we don't have anything" so rude and unprofessional. Oh and they accused me of never showing up to an appointment, which I never had one to begin with. read more

Everyone is very nice, and they have a great color selection. They don't price gouge. Highly recommend this place!

Male owner extremely rude! Extremely unprofessional! Extremely ungrateful to a good client that comes every two weeks. Several times I have had to call and reschedule appointment. Yes because I have children, a full time Jonas Registered Norse. Things come up. Most nail salons would be great full to a client that tips more than 30%. The last time I called and the last time I will ever go there he hung up on me. Some nerve. He is insane really. I can only imagine how he treats his wife; who is a SWEATHEART....if he treats a client the way he treated me!!!!! He is full of anger, hate and rage and should be great full to be able to live and work in our country!!!!!! Yes read more

after years of going here and being disappointed pretty much everytime i got my nails done i got double charged to get my acrylic set off. went back to voice my concern and request a refund since i couldn't do it through the bank and the owner gave me a hard time, tried telling me there was nothing he could do and that i must have gotten 2 services and that's why i was charged twice. there was no reason that i couldn't get my money back so eventually after 10 minutes of standing up for myself he offered a giftcard and i said can i have cash back i don't really want to spend more money here after this he was hesitant but gave me cash. long story short i will not being going back. the owner is rude and doesnt care about anything but money. they overbook themselves and then rush to get the job done. read more

I really like this nail place and would definitely go back. The nail techs are so nice ! They recommended this cool technique where they use a magnet to create a pearlized diagonal stripe. I love it! read more

Overall good gel manicure and pedicure. My nails were done nicely, the massage/lotion part was decent. Don't make an appointment, they get to busy can't take people at their appointment time. They were running 20-30 minutes behind with everyone's appointments. I waited a half hour for my "appointment". read more

I too have heard "not too nice" comments re: new male co-owner. All the girls that once worked there are gone ( aside from Tam and new owners wife) .. I'm not even sure if Tony's wife Kim is still there. What was once a very upbeat and friendly salon is seemly going downhill. Tam . & Tony's wife - this partially negative review is certainly not meant for you. Such a shame read more

When I first came here when it opened I liked it probably because it was new. But now it's nothing special, came for a pedicure and I know I didn't pay for the spa pedicure but it was really just a basic relative quick scrub and touch up on my toes. Not much shaping or clipping . Quick semi clean paint job. read more

The nail techs are so nice and friendly make you feel so relaxed and happy this was my first time at the salon and i loved it $35 for a full set acrylic i got regular nail polish with gel on top and i noticed when i got home that it had bubbles now i know for next time to get gel polish and gel on top i will definitely go back to this salon read more

The lady that did my manicure was so rude and didn't listen to how I liked my nails done. She was impatient, bad at doing nails, and poor at customer service. All of my nails chipped within a day and looked better prior to getting them done. In addition, they charged 21 dollars for a basic manicure and gel removal. Waste and money and bad experience overall. read more

This nail salon is wonderful. One of the main reasons my mom and I decided to come here is because of the set up of the salon. Everything is close and accessible. The interior is clean and inviting. Parking is directly in front of the door- super convenient. Although we based our decision on the salon's easy and accessibility, it is the quality of the work that I really want to rave about. Both my mom and I had Tee do our nails and she is great. She does such a great job and really makes sure she does quality work. We both cannot wait to come back for our next appointments (fill, gel manicure, and pedicures). I would recommend this nail salon. read more

I had a pedicure here today, for the first time. Pros: Kim did a great job with my nails and foot massage. The chairs are very nice and the salon is very clean and new. It was super easy for them to fit me in for an appointment, even when I called to make one the same day. Biggest pro of all is that they are open on Sundays! Cons: There was a little bit (~15 min) wait when I got there (however, they were very apologetic about this). They had a tv playing (it's my preference to have no tv/tv on mute with some nice music playing instead -- more relaxing). It was a quite warm in the salon (most likely due to the very large, sunny windows which were nice, besides the heat). Overall, would definitely revisit! read more

I loved Insta nails until new owner took over. I left for vacation and came back and T and her sister were gone. I was told they were on vacation and would be back in 6 weeks. I have gone back twice and really don't like the place. If anyone knows where T and her sister are please post read more

I like to use yelp to highlight small businesses that I find and want to support and have never written a bad review before because everything is relative and I wouldn't want to jeapordize someone getting business because of my opinion, but if I can spare someone feeling the way I did after getting my nails done here then this is worth it. I made a 6:30 appointment to get a gel manicure here last Friday and wasn't seen until after 7 (they close at 7:30) so after sitting for 30 minutes waiting for someone my manicure was rushed and done very poorly. The man doing my nails spent the entire time making inappropriate comments about how he assumed I would be in bed and how he liked girls like me. I tried to change the subject/ignore him but he didn't stop. Sitting through almost 30 minutes of low key sexual harassment was extremely uncomfortable. While that alone was enough to ruin my experience the fact that the actual service was shotty and my nails already need to be redone makes me wish I had just thrown the money straight into the garbage instead of enduring the hour that I spent here. It hasn't even been a week and my nails are already peeling off. The tips are jagged from not being filed properly and the gel around the cuticle is clumped and falling off. I would highly recommend not going there. As a side note I was told that if anything happened to my nails he would happily fix them free of charge but going back isn't something I would ever intentionally do. I hate to put anyone on blast but I think it's fair to expect professionalism and peace when paying for any kind of service. Being friendly and flirtatious is one thing, but creeping someone out is another. I get that some people appreciate being flirted with (who doesn't like compliments?), but there is a line, and he definitely crossed it. read more

Insta Nails and Spa - Tony did a beautiful job tonight! Definitely recommend this place if your looking for a great nail salon in point pleasant! - Nail Salons Near Me - Point Pleasant, New Jersey

My review went from 5 stars to 1 star. What a disappointment !!! The new owner let the level of service drop. WITHOUT KIM, T, and ANGIE, this salon is non existent. You walk into the salon and don't get the upbeat vibe anymore. My whole family, sisters, sister in laws all went there. Can someone please let us know where Kim and T went? read more

How horrible of an establishment. They turned me away because I didn't have an appointment. I have never in my life been turned away from a nail salon (I've been getting my nails done for 20 Years). They had 2 people waiting and told me to come back at 6 which was 4 hours after I was there. I went to 2 other Salons on this day as I go to a specific one for waxing. Both were even busier than this place and neither turned me away. Wouldn't recommend AT ALL. Also the store looks NOTHING like the pics. It's pretty dingy. read more

I went here with my bridal party on Thursday evening so we could all get our nails done together. I booked a few weeks in advance and then checked in the week before and they said everything was set. When we walked in they had snacks and drinks waiting for us! (and we brought a lot of our own). They were SO nice and fun! We truly had a great time and it was a great way to kick off wedding festivities! I would definitely recommend for an event like this! Everyone was very happy with their nails and mine are still flawless 15 days later! read more

I recently went to Insta nail spa from out of town while visiting family. I used Yelp to connect with Tony, the owner, and was able to come in right away. The salon is extremely clean, and they had the perfect amount of staff available for the Wednesday before thanksgiving. Tony helped me choose a gel color that would match the regular polish I selected for my toes. He gave a wonderful leg massage and was not too chatty so I could sit back, relax and enjoy the massage chair. Tony was quick and efficient for both my gel manicure and pedicure, and the total was $45 which was a STEAL for the quality of work I received. I will definitely be returning to Insta when I come back down to the jersey shore! read more

This was my first time going to a nail salon since I was a kid getting a basic polish, and I chose here because of the good reviews. I was greeted immediately and everyone was very friendly. I had gone for acrylic which costs $25 but I accidently chose a gel polish when picking out a color so the entire set was $35 (but it came out beautiful and it was completely my fault. Just be mindful when picking your color!). The entire process didn't take long at all and the woman who did mine did a fabulous job. I would for sure go back! read more

Love this place, never have to wait more than 10 minutes as a walk in. The entire staff is professional and polite. They have a massive gel color selection and have accurate swatches of each color that makes the color selection process super easy. Their pricing is very reasonable. read more

Went there for the first time today. Great service. Very clean. Very friendly. My nails look great. I will definitely be going back.

Great mani today with Tam! First time at this salon and tried it on the recommendation from friends. What a great little place! Very clean. Very friendly. My nails look amazing. I like my nails short and Tam did a super job keeping them short but still really pretty. Awesome color choices- They carry OPI & essie!!! I'll definitely be back for more. read more

A+++ service! Went with my girlfriend for mani pedi on mdw...staff is very friendly, went the extra mile with our mani-pedis...plus they are a gentleman-friendly nail salon (no extra charge, no bad attitude towards male clients as I've experienced at other nail salons). If you're down the jersey shore for the weekend this is the spot to go to for your nail beauty needs! read more

Really really a disappointing downfall. The service completely crumbled after their new male owner took over. Tony was the best and truthfully, without their regular girls- the ones there for the time Tony was the owner the salon is horrid. Kim was amazing and her no longer being there is tragic for the salon. The kind women that were always there to greet are no longer there and now you do not even get a welcome. The new male owner is THE WORST. He is nasty and rude. The first time I went there after he took over, he did my nails and they broke within the next two days after I got them. I refused to go to him after that, then he demanded he take me right before my birthday (the last time I went there ever again,) I was almost in tears because of how bad he made my nails the time he had me within his first few weeks there. They looked bad, were rushed and made me feel so unwelcome. I professed how I did not like how he does my nails and would rather have one of the girls I usually go to do my nails, (being the other girls were not doing anything since he felt the need to take all the service away from them and make them sit there folding towels.) He refused to let them do it- I'm the customer, if I DO NOT want you to do my nails/feet, then don't. You shouldn't be doing manicures and pedicures being you aren't good at it, so if you want to be the owner of the salon, maybe you should just work the front desk and cashier or something since you aren't talented at nails whatsoever. He is a nasty man all around so he probably shouldn't be in customer service at all. Unfortunately, I do not go here anymore and now go to K&J in Brick because ever since he took over, your appointment is worthless since he won't have people for you when you get there for your appointment time- you'll have to wait 15+ minutes. You won't be able to find many colors since ever since Tony left this guy hasn't gotten any new colors. NO HATE to the girls who are there from when Tony was the owner, but to the new owner, you really ruined this company that was once amazing- I traveled there from Brick, in the midst of the summertime, when traffic was horrendous I would do the travel for this salon. I wish I could find where the girls are working now so I could give them my business because I miss them. read more

If your looking for a nail salon that is for the customer and always wanting to do what the customer wants then you come to the right nail salon. Have been going to insta nails for some time now and am sorry to say after today's pedicure I will never go back again. Apparently, there is a new male owner and I was unlucky enough to get him. I sat down at 11:38 and was done by 11:56 and probably 8 minutes was spent with him stopping to answer phone or jam in walk-ins into schedule with salon full already. He cut nails then ran file across each toe once. Buffed the tips of nails wo even looking, so if u like the top of ur toe buffed, then he's the one to see. Absolutely forget about having the cuticles done, extremely minimal. He added thinner to polish and polish went on clumpy and few nails(3) not even covered in its entirety. Also,he needs to learn to polish within the lines. Very upset with him and know if he is more interested in getting $22 / 15 min w doing sh- -y work that once successful salon will go down hill w him in charge. 7/23/19. Lynne read more
