BUT not only are they $10 more than my regular place for a fill, he charged me $5 extra for having long nails. Seriously? I also got glitter polish on 4 nails and they have empty spots. Either use a solid as a base or do extra coats. He also didn't buff the edges/corners so they are sharp. Will not be back. read more

I've been going to the nail salon for over 10 years. 3 of my nails popped off after a week on my most recent dip manicure I had. When I went to see Vinnie, he did put on new color because I didn't know my color. He said I'll just use a color I think match; the result was bright pink nails and two very light pink nails. I was so frustrated. I just said OK I'll see you soon and walked out after he was finished. He didn't even takeoff the dip that was around my fingers (not on my nails) or the bumps from not placing dip or top on smoothly. Needless to say, totally unhappy after 10 years of going to a place and he can't fix an issue that a long time customer has. Been going to this salon for quite a while but this visit was my last. Asked for a natural French gel manicure but what I got was something fit for a toddler. They were obviously short handed. Never saw this technician before. He had no idea what he was doing and the results looked like cotton candy, I'm in my 60's. I came in here with one of my friends who had gel polish on her toe nails and she was given 2 different prices between the guy at the door and the woman that was going to do her nails. They charge $7 to have gel polish removed She decided that she didn't want to pay that in addition to the 23 for the pedicure so she ended up just getting her polish removed for $7. When she decided against getting a pedicure it was clear they were talking about her in a negative way. The technician doing my nails was nice enough, but the pedicure wasn't very good. He got polish on my cuticles and skin and the pedicure was over before I knew it. The main guy at this location that seemed to be managing the nail salon was so rude that I just paid and left. So I called to see how much a pedicure was and if they had availability. I figured since this location has been there a long time it must be a nice place. Upon emtering the gentlemen told me to pick a color from either wall. So I went to non gel wall cause gel polish is hard to remove and I didn't want that. The polishes were a brand I never saw before and some were totally dried out. I picked a red which I thought was cute for Valentine's with glitter. Then they brought me to the tub which had a disposable liner in which I thought was nice and more cleanly. And I saw the girl grab her tools out of her drawer and saw they were clean and to my left were UV sanitizing cabinets. So I felt comfortable that the tools were clean. I got in the tub and soaked maybe 2 minutes and then a new pumice took in plastic was opened to buff calluses. My calluses were not bad or thick. they applied a softner and the stuff needed to assist getting the skin softer. Then the cuticle cutting started. my right toe I jumped a little cause I felt a sharpness and right then snd there I said it hurt a little so then she lightened up. going to the right side the cuticle was thick and again sharpness I felt and that saw a chunk of dead skin pull out. it was sore pulling it out. Onward to the left foot and no problems no soreness and clean even trimming on the cuticles. Then my polish was put on and she asked if I wanted a manicure which initially I just wanted a pedicure but then thought I'm here I may as well. So after my toes finished (which felt like 15 minutes) we went to the nail station which to me was pretty clean also. my cuticles are short and rough on my fingernails cause I wash my hands constantly at work and am always in and out of water. So she starts trimming and I got knicked by the nippers on my ring finger, middle finger, and pointer finger. I have small red scabs... then I finish and I felt like it was very fast for $46. I left my right toe felt sore but they looked good so i went home and went about my business the rest of my day. enter bed time. My toe was warm feeling and just having my socks on felt sore. I put neosporin on then went to bed. Woke up today still sore 7/10 and I pushed on the side of my toe and pus did come out. So that side where the hunk of deadskin and cuticle was taken out is indeed infected. And I have a cut/scab too I didn't notice until I looked up close. I'm hoping I don't have a bad infection and that it's just a mild one but I do plan to follow up with my foot dr. and I will probably never trust a nail salon to do my feet ever again. I hate putting this review up cause my technician was a very nice girl but there was negligence somewhere to cut my skin. im not diabetic but if someone is and went they could possibly get hurt bad and that's my main point to writing a lengthy review. If you do go ask not to cut back cuticles. read more

I have used this place for years but the last 2 times had horrible service. I sat at a table that the ceiling was leaking over and when I bought it to the person's attention he said ya we know and got me a towel to put Over my arm. So it dripped on me the entire time. I would have left If the nails we not half done. He did a horrible job filing and took the shape of my nails and wreaked it, there was gel all over my cuticles and polish when I asked him if he could clean it up, he told me that my nails beds are big and he did the best he could, never was told that before and never had a problem before, he did a crap job and then blamed me for it. Went in to get a pedicure and gel manicure. First the guy tried to use the drill to remove my nail polish on my toes. Next during my gel manicure he used cold water and no soap to soak my fingers and almost forgot about it. He did t seem to know what he was really know what he was doing. After completed within 3 hours my thumb chipped off. This is the second time I have tried this place and I'll never go back when I visit NJ. 3 days later and 4 fingers had peeled and my toe polish has chipped on numerous toes. This was hands down the WORST experience I have ever had at a nail salon. First of all, if you plan on making a living in our country LEARN THE LANGUAGE. I asked for a Navy blue and he had no idea what I was asking him. Absolutely clueless. I finally found one myself. He soaked off my gel manicure in two bowls of acetone nail polish... burning my skin and making my fingertips turn white. They use the drill to take off polish which I HATE bc it completely ruins your nail beds. Next, he barely took off any dead skin... literally trimmed it around the nails with the clipper for 30 seconds tops. Then he filed and they are all misshapen!!! And two are actually jagged! The polish job? As you can imagine it's the worst I have ever seen. More polish on my skin than the nails. All caught in the dead skin he didn't trim from around my nails. He did two coats of color and two coats of clear. My nails are so ridiculously thick they look absurd. It was horrible. Not to mention noone talks. There were about 7 different people getting nails done throughout the establishment and aside from the tv you could hear a pin drop. Terrible job and terrible atmosphere! I felt compelled to write a review because I have never had a worse experience for a service than I have with this salon. I selected a color for a pedicure and matched it to a color for my nails. It was a gel set with matching numbers. After my rushed pedicure the attendant started to do my nails and I told her it was a different color due to the look of it and the number not matching the one I had for my toes. She repeatedly told me I was wrong and proceeded telling me when it dried it would match. She also convinced me to do a daisy design on my nails and after 15 failed attempts and 20 minutes later just put random dots on my nail. I asked her to take it off and you could tell she was annoyed because my service got rougher and faster. My nails were filed crooked, she missed second coats on certain nails, and every time I tried to remind her she rolled her eyes and continued to just do what she wanted. After it was all said and done I had a different color on my toes and nails which even the owner Tommy said was definitely a different color and crooked nails that peeled in 3 days. So 60 dollars down the drain for bad service and bad customer service. read more

Poor customer service! I was told to get in pedi chair but after 15 minutes no one spoke to me and other people who came in after were getting service. I wouldn't have minded if they just communicated. When i left i told the man that i couldn't stay he didn't even give me the courtesy of looking up- he continued to work on nails and abruptly told me to call first!! The place itself is clean and open all 7 days a week. The pedicures themselves though are very poor they do them extremely quickly so you do not get a foot rub at all. Same goes for the manicure. If you get a male doing it for you it is even worse. I went yesterday for a mani/pedi. I was there for an hour half of it was waiting for an open chair. There was no foot or hand rub and the man was constantly yelling at me to relax, I went here to relax because of my ill mother, him yelling at me only caused me more stress and tension and I therefore almost started crying again. He then took my card for payment and it left my site making me feel uneasy for good cause. A call from the bank's fraud department at 7 am the next morning to let me know my card as being shut down for suspicious activity cinched it for me. Do NOT go here. My friend and I came in for her birthday she wanted a full set of tips acrylic with POLISH which is $25. I wanted a POLISH change because i had gotten a full set there a month back. He told me $25 for a polish change.....which is ridiculous. With that being said I rejected the over priced service and got a brow wax instead. Meanwhile, the birthday girl got her full set and set down the polish color she wanted in front of the man and he completely ignored her request and began to gel polish her nails. Gel is 10$ more than polish. So i said, excuse me, didn't she want polish? And he ignored me. He then proceeded to paint the gel as fast as he could after repeatedly telling him she wanted POLISH. This man was extremely rude and disrespectful. He hustled her and tried to hustle me too which is hilarious because when i was getting waxed he went on and on about how they don't try to trick people with their over pricing LOL. I made a yelp account just to leave a review. I came in to get a gel manicure and was sent over to a man at table #8. He starts filing my nails and keeps tugging and pulling on my hand because I was "too stiff". He was even hurting me a bit. He kept groaning as if he was frustrated with me. I've never had that issue before. I'm quiet and shy, so his actions were making me feel frazzled. I went to put my hand under the gel heater and accidentally hit one of my fingers on the counter and slightly messed up the polish. He yells at me "why did you do that!" And I, while shaking, tell him it was an accident. With an angry look on his face he finishes painting my other 2 nails and walks away. A man, who I presume to be the owner, comes over to finish up my manicure. He was very apologetic which I appreciated, being he saw everything happen. After that though they still charged me for my manicure. I begrudgingly paid and still tipped. I wound up returning upset about the ordeal and they refunded me thankfully.
