Grace, the owner, is an absolute doll and will go out of her way to make sure you are happy with your services. I certainly haven't favorites, but everyone does a great job! Came to this nail place last minute and they accommodated my mom and I. I haven't been able to find a place that does a good gel manicure that can also do designs and not just basic colored nails. Went in to spa nails just to fix my 2 big nails. I have two micro mini chips. All that was needed was to dab the polish and they wanted to charge $2 per nail. I thought that was ridiculous when I can almost buy a new bottle of polish. I said are you really going to charge me per nail when all you have do is dab it on? They said yes and I walked out and said you just lost a customer!! Also, they want you to think that they have fresh instruments for each person when in reality its just the emory boards that are new. Everything else is not steralized. I love Spa Nails! I've been coming here for about 2 years and dealing with Patty. She is always pleasant and does a fantastic job! The facilty is clean and I would highly recommend them however I would suggest making an appt. as they tend to book up quickly and are rarely able to accept walk-ins on the weekends. read more

I love spa nails! I've been coming here for about 5 years on and off. They have the best price for pedicures and do a fantastic job. Their gel manicure is a little higher in price ($35) but they do THE BEST JOB!! It lasts me 3 weeks. I always get my eyebrows waxed here and nowhere else. My absolute favorite place to get my nails done! Everyone greets you when you walk in and when you leave. Even when I walk in without an appointment I never wait more than 5 minutes. The workers don't speak in other languages to each other, and focus on what they are doing. It makes me feel more comforted to know they are not gossiping about clients like other salons I have been to. Every time I go I am always satisfied with my nails! Best manicure and pedicure I have ever gotten. They really do a great job and never disappoint. Only giving it 4 stars because they are raising their prices. Had a really good experience. My boyfriend and I went on a Saturday afternoon and were greeted from about 10 workers in unison. This is something they do when a person comes and goes, which for me was cute. It was extremely busy but they fit us both in and sat us right next to each other. The women doing the pedicures took really good care of us. They gave great thorough foot massages and did a really good paint job on my toes. I didn't have flip flops and they gave me paper ones which was convenient. At the end of my pedicure when I went to go dry my toes I got a bit of a massage which was really nice too. The pedicure was only $20 each which is pretty cheap compared to other places around. We will be coming back read more

Ignore the bad reviews! This place is the best nail salon in Monmouth County. The salon is really really clean and everyone is very friendly. My regular nail salon was not available for me and my 11-year-old daughter. Spa nails was just a regular nail salon, nothing special or fancy. It is so overpriced that I will never step foot in there again. My current salon is literally half the price, nicer, longer massage and overall better. This place charged us $70 for gel manicure and regular pedicure. Plus they charged $10 extra to make tiny lines on the tips of my 11 year olds nails. Not worth the price tag! read more

My 10 yr olddaughter and I both had a 2:30 pm mani pedi appt. today at Spa Nails. My appt started over 15 min late. The technician coul not provide me with a pink sparkle polish. The only one available was dried up. My nails were completed by a different technician than the original which I happen to detest when salons do that. I had to wait even longer for her. My daughter loved the tech who did her nails and toes. Cici was great. She polished my daughter's nails to perfection. Matching a photo of extensively designed nails to a T. She charged me $25 for the mani/pedi. My daughter sat at the drying station while my mani was being done by a different tech. When my daughter walked over to my table my nail tech and a different tech noticed the nail art on her nails and began rapidly communicating in a foreign language. One immediately approached Cici and questioned her. I noticed what was going on and became increasingly uncomfortable - while I was at the drying station the receptionist approached me and told me the nail art was extra. She wanted $10 more in addition to the $25 already paid. I told her my nails were wet, & asked for her to reach in to access my wallet. I was very upset. I called them afterwards and told them she lost 2 customers. She didn't seem to understand me because she assured me there won't be any problems the next time I comeback - I won't ever go there again!!!!!The only reason I gave 2 stars is because my 10 year old loved her nails, and really liked Cici. read more

Horrible experience today with the front line staff. First a compliment to the woman the did my pedicure. She was nice, friendly and did a great job. Unfortunately my experience went downhill after I sat in the chair for my manicure. I was halfway through and the woman at the front desk asked me to get up and go to another manicurist. I agreed although I thought it was very rude. I asked if I'd be seen right away since I was literally in the middle of my manicure. She said yes and it wasn't until 20, yes 20 minutes later that a new manicurist came and finished my manicure. I've gone to them for years and always loved their services. The past 2 experiences I've had there with poor customer service have secured that I don't step foot in there again!! read more

Went in last night for a pedicure and manicure during a huge snow storm. They expressed that they wanted to go home early and asked if they could do my pedi and gel mani at the same time which was fine with me because I could understand. I was a little afraid that the mani and pedi would come out lesser of quality because I could tell they were rushing however everything came out amazing. I have zero complaints. Went to Spa Nails in Alexander Plaza, Englishtown. On a Monday for a gel manicure,by Wednesday, it was cracked and peeling. Gel usually lasts at least 2 to 3 weeks. They told me my nails are too long thats why the polish cracked. Really in 2 days!! They only offered to redo a few nails for free. They expected me to pay full price do redo all the rest. Their prices are high to begin with. Was it worth the price of a manicure to lose a customer? Their customer service is AWFUL will not be going there again!! read more

I have been a regular customer for over a year. The staff has always been friendly and did a good job with my gel manicures. I often bring my 7 year old granddaughter and she gets a polish change for $6.00. Yesterday I went with my granddaughter and when I want to pay, James the owner wanted to charge me $12 for my granddaughter. He said she received a manicure and not a polish change. I never asked for a manicure and quite honestly I did not see any difference in the service she received. I challenged James and he was not interested in making this situation right. This was not a good business decision. The bread and butter is with the adult clients and doing kids should be a nicety offered by the salon. Many salons dont even charge for the little ones! Needless to say, I won't be returning and I don't recommend them if you don't want yo be nickeled and dimed! read more

Took my 4 year old with me for pedicure. Adult pedi is $25. They charge $18 for my daughter pedi. They didn't soak her nails or cut them. She was done in 10 minutes. Everywhere else is $12 max for kid pedi. Ridiculous. Rip off. read more

Going downhill...for years I came here. $30.00 for a decent mani-pedi was worth it. Sometimes it's hit or miss, but lately they have not been so fantastic...massages got weak. The pedicure isn't so special....They tried to charge me a lot more because I forgot my Vinylux topcoat. (Btw..always buy your own on Amazon and bring it...). IT was a bit of a scene and the owners now have a young woman in front for most of this past year. She really has a weird and unfriendly energy. When 3 months ago she argued with me about the VINYLUX top coat I was angry but I held off. Then they raised their prices...if I knew the workers we getting the raise I would feel better. I used to tip $10 for the mani-pedi but with their raised pricing I don't think it will help the workers at all. It will just cut into their tips. I started to shop around and right next door I got a great manicure from Bella nails and a great pedicure from across from Costco next to Justin's barbershop. If they were still top notch I would have returned, but they are now just a bit too factory like and have gotten to be very average. Sorry, but with so many other nail places I town-shop around....this place is just "meh". read more
