I came here for the first time because my usual spot was booked and this was near work. It was super busy and a little chaotic. I stood there awkwardly waiting by the check in counter after choosing polish because no one told me where to wait or who would be doing my pedicure. Eventually I asked because I did have some place to be and they were running behind. As for my service itself, it was odd. The water was cold and the tech looked so annoyed when I said it was too cold even after she added water. She gets up in a huff and gets a bucket to empty the basin and add some warm water. Still wasn't hot but... acceptable. We finally get started and she talked more to the woman in the chair next to me than she did to me. I went to TNT Nails yesterday for a simple pedicure and left with a bleeding toe, pain, and utter disbelief at how shockingly unprofessional and unsafe the experience was. From the moment I sat down, the technician was rude -- no greeting, no eye contact, no questions about what I wanted. It felt like I was an inconvenience rather than a paying customer. Then things went from bad to downright horrifying. While trimming my nails, the technician cut into my skin and caused bleeding. I could see the blood, I could feel the pain -- and yet she tried to deny it ever happened and cover it up. Instead of apologizing or providing proper care, she reached for a random bottle of pedicure chemical and tried to apply it directly into the open wound -- without telling me what it was. I politely but firmly asked for a clean tissue and a bandaid. She gave me neither. Instead, she reached for a bottle of unknown white powder and tried to apply it to the wound -- again, without answering what it was, even after I asked repeatedly. I had to pull my foot back to stop her from putting more unknown substances into a fresh wound. When I asked for the manager, a young woman came who barely spoke English. Then a young man eventually came -- finally someone I could speak to -- only to try to apply the same powder again and hand me some kitchen wipes. No sterile bandage. No antiseptic. Not even a basic apology. I told him I couldn't continue and needed to leave. He said "okay," and that was it. No apology. No concern. Nothing. This place is not only rude and careless -- it is UNSAFE. They handled an open wound with mystery products and zero hygiene standards. If you value your health, stay far away from TNT. read more

I'm sorry I wanted to like this as it is close by but my nail lady I realized at the end does not clean her equipment at all... when we pay for nails, we're also expecting cleanliness to be a part of the price. she doesnt use autoclave, or even spray it with water or alcohol or anything! Even the cuticle cutter. She also did my nails with her bare hands. Once she cut my cuticles she just put it back in her drawer and reuses it for all clients. I come here to get my nails done with Bella. So it depends on the mood, how is it done. Sometimes she's great and does amazing. But sometimes she's just annoyed, just talk to each other non stop and don't even ask customer is they like what they doing or hi how are you. Also same thing goes while they're charging for the service. The same service cost from $35 to $50. Same length, same thing every time. They charge for repair while getting fills. They should respect the choice of color the client chose bcuz she's the one wearing the color. I've only been once for a gel pedicure. Walked in with no appointment on a weekday afternoon and waited about ten minutes to be seen. Place is huge and was full. Really enjoyed the diverse music and despite being full, it was not extremely loud like a lot of nail places with a bunch of staff chatter and people on their phones, etc. They had a lot of chairs for pedicures and you could tell this place was popular because all the nail seats were full as well. They were reasonably priced and clean and accommodating. I don't have any complaints. I'm two weeks into my pedicure and one of the nails did chip, but I'm not sure I can blame them for that. read more

I used to come here regularly but started going to a new place which I like better. I decided to give it another shot for a pedicure since it is local. The message was not thorough or relaxing. She was lazy and rushed through it. The water was extremely hot and she didn't ask me if the temperature was okay. Part of my leg got so hot that when she started exfoliating, it was too raw and started bleeding. I felt it stinging so I itched it and noticed blood on my hands but she just gave me a look and didn't do anything about it. The polish application was good but she didn't file my toenails very well. The other two employees next to me also rushed through with their clients. Not worth the $40 if that's how they handle all appointments In my opinion. i always go here, the one time Candy was not available i was out with what seems like a teenager to do my nails. he was cutting my cuticle and one of my fingers begins to bleed. i was then given something of an asian blood clotting powder and then told to put my hand under the UV light. my fingernail did not stop bleeding and my finger began to burn. the nail polish job otherwise was blotchy and uneven and got around my nails. when asked to pay i explained i was bleeding and asked for a discount as i was in pain, and offered only $5 off. very disappointed. will be asking Candy for home visits now. read more

TNT is the average central NJ nail salon and spa. Had a 9am appointment for a full gel set, waiting maybe 5 minutes in lobby area before the tech was ready. Working with Henry, he did well but not quite what I was looking for. Unfortunately the communication had physical and lingual barriers, so my request for short oval nails translated to a awkward and crooked almond shape. It's not his fault, my nails just grow in the wrong direction. But almond highlights the awkward path. It would not have been as bad if I had not just shown him a picture of the shape and style I wanted. As for the location, the tools are obviously used on multiple clients, with no visible disinfection station and the files were nearly white from prior residue. If I return it will be with my own mail kit just to keep things sanitary. read more

I was referred by someone who is a family friend & lives in the area who told me that she's been using (H)Andy @T&T nail for a long time and she loves it there. So on a whim, I decided to try them, since it's literally down the road from my parents house. I just walked in one Wednesday evening and asked if they had time for a gel fill-in, which they did and I didn't have to wait a single second. I showed my nail technician, Bella, some photos from my phone of the style & shape I was looking for and she literally, "Nailed It!" -lol... Bella was kind and patient as she did great work on my nails which have lasted for over a month now! I was seeing Lisa for a while for gel tips, and she was great! She took her time and was very careful and sweet. Love her! However, when I went to get my tips taken off, the woman who I got sat with literally took a fake nail and pried off each tip, which was incredibly painful. One of my nails actually broke and was exposed and bleeding, which she did say she was sorry for but still charged me $15. They aren't super expensive but I've just started going to private nail techs as at least you know you'll get your money's worth. read more

Upon coming in I noticed the place was a little chaotic. One person told me to sit one person told me to go towards the pedicure chair then they said no come this way then they told me no sit down. There was no callous removal, uneven nail trimming and a lot of polish all over my cuticles after the service was done. I really could have done a better job myself. Badgered me about tip when I told him I had to wait for my mom to drop off cash. I would never leave without tipping.
