I walked out and knew I had to give a great rating. Aside from the dresses being beautiful, the vibe and stylist was amazing. You're in a private suite which eliminates some of the stress and anxiety of the store. Al was my stylist and I loved her. She was so professional and cool. At one point when we were chatting she was taking notes but maintained eye contact. It made me feel very important. Okay the dresses. So so beautiful and and the appliqués on the Potter dress were the softest I've ever touched. Each dress was so unique and I appreciated that the sizing was more accurate to street sizing than other bridal shops. All in all, a 5 star experience. If you decide to go, request Al!!! read more

If you're a modern gal, looking for dresses with timeless silhouettes, lightweight minimal gowns with beautiful fabrics, then Floravere is right for you. I highly recommend trying out Floravere as your FIRST stop in gown hunting. Especially for those petite gals! Floravere's price points range from ~ $900-$3000. I would recommend at least 5 mos in advance as their gowns are made to order. First off, Floravere is located in the chic Ambassador hotel room. You get privacy and a clear one-to-one, the perfect cozy setting for you and your friends. You also get complimentary champagne. My stylist Al was beyond patient and accommodating throughout the appointment. She was attentive in what I did and didn't like with no judgments whatsoever. Always great to have a stylist who actually cares in finding the one for you even if you hated them all! We tried about 6 dresses and though I loved a lot of them, they were a bit high on my budget. Luckily I did a bit of research before and as I was about to end my appointment, I remembered one I saw online that I wanted to try. She had it on the rack, allowed me to try on one more dress, and long behold that became my wedding dress! No alterations needed, just a bustle. One thing I wish they had was a small platform for those short like me, as most bridal places carry bigger sizes to sample. It isn't fun whenever you walk out you feel like the fabric is eating you up even with a million clips and wearing heels. read more

I had already visited over 5 dress stores before arriving at Floravere, and was pleasantly surprised by the experience there! They found me through a Facebook Ad and when I clicked to view their website, I encountered so many GORGEOUS dresses and I chose 4-5 to try on at my appointment. Not overwhelming at all! Arriving at The Ambassador Hotel (which is incredibly beautiful - you should get there early and grab a latte at their coffee bar!) my mom, my fiance's step mom and I checked in easily in the lobby. When we walked up to the room, it was a fabulous, luxurious suite, filled with natural light! As a wedding photographer myself (doesn't that make decisions more difficult!) it was exactly the kind of room where a bride should feel her most beautiful, natural, and confident. Lots of space to sit, to walk around, and relax quietly - three things lacking in other dress stores. The BEST part of my experience was working with Al, who was so accommodating, kind, encouraging, NEVER pushy, and let me try on my two favorite dresses multiple times. She was super body positive in her encouraging comments, especially when I felt conscious of my waistline. Al was down-to-earth, and made the process so easy and seamless. The gowns were super reasonable prices, comfortable (Al encouraged me to try sitting in the dresses as well!), and just simply gorgeous. I highly recommend Floravere for any modern bride who wants to find gowns that are treasures very different than at any other store. read more

After searching high and low all across the country Floravere was my savior. They had exactly what I was looking for at the perfect price point. Denise was a dream to work with--so patient and kind. She didn't push me at all, just naturally let me realize I was wearing exactly what I had imagined. I decided to modify the crepe fabric of the Mulligan gown and Floravere was accommodating and truly made my minimal wedding dream dress come to life. I have worked in the bridal industry and what Floravere is doing to make intimate fun appointments and gorgeous dresses is totally one of a kind. Thanks for being a part of my special day. read more

I had a great experience in Chicago trying on the absolutely stunning Floravere gowns. I will admit after being to a much bigger bridal store the day before, my expectations were pretty neutral, especially since I knew that Floravere had a much smaller selection of gowns. But man was I wrong!! Every single gown was gorgeous and beautifully made- much higher quality than others things in the same price point I have tried on. We had our own private suite at the Hotel Ambassador (which by a very convenient twist of fate we happened to be staying at), so it felt incredibly personalized. There was plenty of room for the 5 people that came to the try on with me and I didn't feel cramped or rushed at all. My stylist gave helpful recommendations and was very friendly and accommodating. I ended up saying yes to the dress at Floravere and I cannot wait to wear the dress again on my wedding day! PS- all the dresses are named after strong women, which I think is an incredibly cool detail for such a smart, innovative company read more

I was super sketched out at the thought of trying on dresses in a hotel. I figured it would be way fancier than I wanted or it would be really weird and uncomfortable. I was VERY wrong. It was an absolutely fantastic experiences. The dresses are beautiful, the vibe is laid back, the music was good. Sammy was our dress warrior princess and honestly, whatever she gets paid, isn't enough. I am chatty, anxious, and did not anticipate great things and she 1) dealt with me. 2) commanded the appointment. Truly recommend this place. They also carry dresses in sizes that arent 4 or 6, because if I'm paying a large amount of something I dont want to have to guess how it might look. read more

I found Floravere through Instagram advertisements soon after I got engaged. At first, I was hesitant - the process seemed too (easy &) too good to be true. I decided to make an appointment when my mom was in town as a "trial-run" before going to some of the other appointments I had made a month or so out. We got to the Ambassador Hotel and was it was a great experience from the moment we walked in. We were greeted promptly and sent to the suite to meet our stylist. Sammy opened the door and was warm and engaging from the second we met her. The room was spacious, clean, had lots of natural light with a small rack with dress potentials. I had picked 3 - 4 dresses from the site that I was interested in which made the process feel less overwhelming. My guests were seated (and by best friend was on face time) and I was taken into the private room. Sammy was respectful, kind, thoughtful, pleasant and encouraging throughout the process. For someone that is more of a private person when it comes to changing, she made the entire experience feel great. She gave helpful tips along the way and was NOT pushy when it came to selling. She made me feel as if she really did want me to find the perfect dress - wherever that may be. I ended up saying "yes" to the 3rd dress that I tried on. It was the EASIEST, most pleasant experience. I couldn't be happier with my choice for dress or company. Thanks for such a WONDERFUL experience. read more

Floravere was our second stop on our find-a-gown tour, and it could not have been a better experience. It was very low-key, low-stress, and a very personalized experience. At Floravere, my entire experience, from making the appointment to buying the dress was simple, easy, and a breath of fresh air from other bridal shops. Al, our stylist, was the BEST! She is thoughtful and straightforward, and I really enjoyed our appointment. She wanted to make sure I felt like myself in each gown I tried on--that was apparent at every turn in our appointment. Put Floravere on your short list for wedding dress shopping! read more

Ana was incredible and the entire Floravere experience was beyond expectations! It was so amazing to have a hotel suite to privately try on dresses with friends, in a really cool / low stress environment. I really appreciate the attention to detail and easy going atmosphere! read more

Al was the BEST Stylist to work with at the Chicago location. The whole experience was intimate, fun and exceeded my expectations from what I experienced at other bridal boutiques. The stylist went above and beyond to make sure the appointment was not rushed, despite going over the allotted time due to me being late. The dresses are flattering, lightweight and beautiful. I will definitely be recommending! The only qualm I have about the appointment is that the stylist misquoted the price of my gown while I was wearing it/fell in love with it. The real price was not disclosed until she had my credit card in hand. At that time I did not want to argue about the price with my bridal party standing there. She was very apologetic about the fact and I realize pricing is out of her control but I would have liked to see a further discount offered due to this inconvenience. read more

Had an AMAZING experience with Al. She made my experience comfortable, fun, and personalized. I would recommend Floravere to anyone!

I absolutely loved the dresses and the dress I have settled on was the one I have been eyeing for months! At first, I was not expecting a Hotel Suite and something a little more formal. But immediately, felt comfortable to be there and the stylist was so great! She was down to earth and all my bridesmaid enjoyed everything. I definitely suggest some higher lighting for anyone that is trying on at night. But other than that I am SOOOO excited to get my dress :) read more

Beautiful dresses that are so much nicer than what other stores have at the same price point. I don't like traditionally bridal looks and was so in love with all of their dresses. You can't go wrong! Pop up experience was fun, one point off for annoying customer service via stylist phone calls leading up to it. read more

Goli created a wonderful experience. She was patient, inviting and kind throughout the entire process. I was able to try on any dresses I wanted and she even helped me FaceTime my bridal party and family members who were not able to be with me. I can not recommend Floravere and Goli enough! read more

I bought the first dress that I tried. Ana is absolutely wonderful and was super helpful during the process. The dress is gorgeous and I can't wait for it to be delivered. I am not a "say yes to the dress" type gal, and this was just an all-around great experience. read more

This was my second wedding dress try-on, so I was still figuring out what I liked, but this was a strange experience. They are located within a hotel room in a nice hotel, apparently it started as a pop-up but they kept getting appointments so they've stayed over a year now. The stylist was nice, but I was SO rushed the entire time. I understand that appointments are only 60 minutes long (as many dress try-ons are) and that she wanted to be ready for the next appointment, but she had us in and out in 40 (!!) minutes. I arrived on time, so there was no reason to shorten the appointment. I felt so rushed the entire time that I didn't really get the chance to fall in love with any gowns. The stylist said she'd email me the names of the dresses I was liking more than others and I have yet to get that email (my appointment was in November 2019, it's mid January now), but I'm not holding my breath because I had better experiences elsewhere and found a much better gown. The gowns seem like they're well made, the fabrics felt nice and they had a decent variety, although it's a smaller collection than you'll see at most Chicago boutiques because they generally carry more than one designer. The sample gowns were also massive compared to the other boutiques I've visited. I'd say I'm pretty average sized, so most sample gowns have fit me decently well. My advice: if you check out the gowns online and fall in love with one, go ahead and make an appointment. Otherwise, I'd say check out some other boutiques - Alice & Ivory, Honey, BHLDN - for better stylists and a better atmosphere and experience. read more
