We decided to go with off the rack options where he selected several different suits to have me try on based on my body composition - FYI: they'll provide shirts and shoes for you if needed to try with the suit so dont stress if you come "unprepared" After trying on a bunch of different colors and having him provide his opinion, I decided after trying on a couple more different styles/materials We locked in the purchase and went over the desired alterations for the following appointment. For the amount of money being spent, I expected a much higher level of service and attention to detail. The woman assisting me during the pickup process was honestly horrible, and it completely took away from what started as a very positive experience. Having worked with Daniel out of his San Fransisco location in California I was always wanting to visit his original space in Chicago. This place has "basics," but obviously nothing more. No slim cut pants. Nothing but basic white shirts with no differing collars. Just standard, run-of-the-mill, single option things. We just left wanting more. Way more. Am I thankful for Devon? YES! He was amazing and deserves a million praises for seeing our vision through. We didn't make it past the immediate entrance. A couple entered behind us, that we'd just encountered in a previous store. The woman that worked in the store, asked if we were together. We immediately said no. She asked again. We repeated, no. She walked past us and went to the Indian couple and asked them what they needed. It was blatantly racist. I was flabbergasted. The sales woman then dismissively says to us, "You can look around" as if she was doing us a favor! I looked at my cousin, turned around, and we left. Do NOT waste your time giving this place the benefit of the doubt. It's already overpriced. To have racism and rudeness on autopilot is absurd. I'm not sure how they stay open. The store was void of customers until we walked in, so there was no excuse about anyone being busy. I'll never go here or recommend anyone to go here again.
