Moon, owner, was super helpful even though she had two sets of customers at same time. We came in to look for coral bridesmaid dresses after having a not so good experience elsewhere. It was 3 of us getting dresses and Moon was so creative in suggesting how to modify dresses to fit our fabulously different figures. Worst shopping experience of my life. Do NOT go here. The saleswoman walked up to me out of the blue and started rifling through the dresses I was waiting in line to try on & asked me loudly "Do you REALLY think this is going to fit YOU?!?" And then started taking dresses out of my hand saying "this is too small for you. You need big BIG sizes" - even putting her hands on my hips to measure them at one point as I stood there horrified at how cruel & out of the blue this was. She did this in front of a crowded store full of people all watching. I was mortified. For reference, I wear a size 12 and two of the dresses she took from me were XLs that I had already tried on & was debating buying because they fit me really well but all I could do was stand there in stunned silence as she took them and walked away while loudly talking about how I need "big BIG sizes" to the whole store of people. I had to order a smaller size because they just sold out of the size and dress I wanted but it came in perfect time for my prom. I went here to look for a prom dress and it being one of the boutiques closest to me I decided to check it out it is a small shop but has many options but only 2 dressing rooms. With the size of the shop it was hard to look adorable dresses through the racks and the one I did end up finding and trying on was to small (size 16) they had no other bigger sizes which I understand however, I was told to go on a diet and lose weight to fit in the dress which did not sit right with me and heard her say to another person that she should put on tanner because she is to white and the dress would look better on a different skin tone. Though the comments may be helpful to pick out a dress in certain circumstances I feel like it could've been handled differently in a more polite manner. The LOVELY owner helped my daughter navigate the store and she ended up finding not one but four dresses she loved that were a third the price of the "fruity" dress shop by the airport. Ok. Lets get right to it; this is NOT a fancy boutique but for what it is, it is wonderfully (bad grammar, don't judge:). Amazing selection and great prices. I went with my sister to help my niece find a dress for Prom. We had great luck! The only downside was the size of the store. It was so small that it was hard to walk. Also, there were only 2 dressing rooms. We had to wait a couple of hours for the same three teenagers (two were sharing) to vacate. The teens would try the same dresses on over and over, and would stand and point to another dress hanging up to try on. The adults with the girls were only encouraging this behavior and adding to it. They could all see we were waiting. I was not exaggerating when I said hours, and they didn't even get the dress! The young lady helping was very apologetic. There wasn't much she could do. My niece once in the dressing room was done quickly (we had a long time to find everything she was interested in) and she found the perfect dress at a very good price. After having searched for a wedding dress at a couple of shops near me, I decided to take the longish drive over to Chicago. Boy, am I glad I did! Although it wasn't the biggest place I visited, it had a lot of dresses in different styles. The owner, "Moon", greeted me as soon as I walked in and quickly figured out what sort of dresses I was interested in. She was very involved in helping me, suggesting several dresses and helping me get them fastened, then tucking and pinning here and there, so I could get a better idea of fit once alterations are done. Another thing is that she can have a special order to you fairly quickly. One of the other stores gave me the impression that it was too late for me to order something, even though my wedding is a full ten weeks away. Went to get a prom dress and was embarrassed by how big I will need a dress because of my back but one of the ladies really found beautiful ones and showed me how to put them on with the zipper or tied. I purchased some jewelry here for my (first) wedding in 1991... Then I bought my daughter's 1st communion gown and accessories here in 2002 (it was literally GORGEOUS)... Then in 2003 my cousin's wife-to-be selected the flower girl dress and the ring bearer suit for my daughter and son here as well (it was CHEAPER to buy the darling little suit then to rent it)!
