Our group stopped in to Loving Hut for a tasty vegan meal. Parking was difficult and we had to…read moremove our cars, so warning: the drive to the small parking lot is a one way through an alley between the buildings. Service was quick, friendly, and helpful. I ordered the Tofu Spicy Cha Cha. The breading was super thick, but the bites were plentiful and tasty. I didn't eat the rice since there was so much breading on the tofu. The veggies were primarily red and green peppers, with some broccoli thrown in. I would have liked a lot of broccoli. The biggest disappointment was the lack of spicy heat, considering it was called Spicy. It came with a tiny bit of what seemed to be a Sweet Thai Chili sauce, but it was not spicy. A friend ordered the Drumsticks. It also came with rice, which was also plentiful and looked delish. The veggies were squash, carrots, broccoli, etc, and were plentiful and tasty. Friend did not care for the drumsticks however, as they weren't what she was expecting, rather just cuts of some type of protein in a thick brown sauce that was not what she thought it would be. Overall, the food was good, and I'd go back, but would order something better and be sure to ask for more spice.

Spring Rolls + Shrimp: yummy and fresh. Peanut dipping sauce is good but could use some more salt or seasoning. Wonton Soup: perfect. I could eat this all the time. Curled Fried Yam Shrimp: excellent! The dip was phenomenal as well. I wish they offered beer & wine, but honestly it's not a huge deal. Service is polite and kind. Parking is easy. I would be back in a heartbeat!

I happen to win a contest on their Facebook page. My good friend loves this place and tagged me in…read morethe contest. I had never heard of New Moon Market and I am so glad I found it. The contest was for gift cards at local businesses which was really kind. Businesses supporting businesses is what I love to support. This is such a cute little spot located by my favorite plant shop (BWH Plant Co) a few doors down in Edgewood. There's lot of cute spots to check out in the area too. Their menu includes all plant based items that are health focused and clean eating. They also have a pretty dedicated gluten free menu aside from wraps and toast. I think this is really great because there are not a lot vegan options out there and I am always looking for a place to eat with my non-meat eating friends. I also often crave a salad and they have such great salad options. If you like smoothies, this is your spot. There's a huge smoothie menu. The prices are pretty standard and the ingredients seem a lot fresher/wholesome compared to other smooth places. While there I had the soup and sandwich special and our kids shared a smoothie. Everything was very delicious. The inside is very well decorated and cute. Staff is super friendly and overall it's a great spot. We are happy to find our new lunch spot when in the area.

Today I got the cheeky brew with almond butter. I love that they give you the option of almond or peanut butter. It is a very filling smoothie that gives you the energy to make it through your day. Their chickpea salad is amazing. You can order the chickpea salad as a wrap, sandwich or by itself. I normally get the large and take it home to eat throughout the week. I love that New Moon Market is locally owned and operated. The owner is very hands on and is always a pleasure to speak with. The restaurant is always very clean and the restroom is well kept. If you are looking for a healthy smoothie or lunch option definitely stop in!

Decided to go here after the corporate 5k race instead of staying near Lake Eola. It was pretty…read morecrowded when I came, but I ordered through the kiosk. I bought 3 chicken tacos (about 12 dollars), then sat in an empty table to wait. It was ready for me in under 10 minutes. The tacos were small, but they had a good amount of chicken, cheese, onions, tomato, and cilantro. A choice of sauce was included, and I took the hot red sauce. The sauce was small, but still ample enough to pour over the three tacos. The flavors were pretty good (thanks to the heat from the sauce) and it was filling enough for me, though the flour tortillas was a bit too hard for me. The service was pretty good, though I ordered from the kiosk and I picked up my order after they called my name. However, they did check up on me, as well a provided water to cops, and removed empty items from the tables. The staff were quite friendly. The dining area was small and a bit boring. There were 2TVs showing ads for their products, and 1 displaying a horse race. The restaurant was quite cramped, and I was thankful to find a table. It's located in downtown, so parking will be either in a meter or a garage. This restaurant serves pretty good tacos at a reasonable price, but the atmosphere was a bit bland for a taqueria. It was also small and can get crowded and full easily. Best to have this to go or delivered. It's still a nice restaurant for tacos in downtown.
