    Pepito

First time trying a pepito and it was so filling! The portions are huge, you definitely won't leave hungry at all. The empanadas are also amazing!!!! This restaurant is pretty busy and plays great music! The food takes a little long to arrive but everything seems to be made fresh.

This is a great Venezuelan Restaurant in the area. There is limited seating but there are tables big enough for larger families and they do offer take out as well. If you choose to dine in make sure you have the time though. The service was the biggest downfall of our experience. By the time we got our 3 appetizers and 1 entree we were there for 2 hours. While their food is made to order and is hot and fresh it took a long time in between items to get all the food. And while we wanted to order and try more items we couldn't stay any longer. But the food was absolutely phenomenal and delicious and we loved everything we tried. I would go back to try more but I would definitely do take out next time.

New Venezuelan restaurant! WOW! Que rico! My cousin who was born in Venezuela showed me this place and now I'm hooked. It's in the same shopping plaza as Alex's Fresh Kitchen & Aladdin Cafe next to Wawa by Red Bug. They've been open since November '23 and have two other locations on the other side of town. The restaurant is decorated very modern and cool. You can either order at the counter to go, or be seated and have a server come take care of you. The food is made fresh to order, so if you're in a hurry I would call in the food ahead of time. We've had the parilla every time! Twice my job ordered the largest size to share and one time my husband and I shared the smallest one. They say the smallest is for one person, but we had plenty to share and leftovers to take home. The parilla comes with chicken, steak, sausage and a side. The meat is delicious and comes with a side of guasacaca! Guasacaca is a traditional Venezuelan avocado and pepper sauce that goes great on the meats. My husband doesn't even like avocados and he was into the guasacaca! They also have garlic sauce, cilantro garlic sauce, salsa rosada (pink sauce), and nata (Venezuelan butter/cream), and a chunky salsa upon request. All the sauces! For sides, we loved the mini arepas dipped in nata and the fried yuca dipped in garlic or pink sauce! Their coleslaw/salad is NOT TO BE MISSED. It looks like a typical coleslaw but the flavor is unique and addicting. They also have tostones (fried plantains) shaped into bowls and filled with meat, cheese and salsa. These are super filling and could be a meal of their own! We got their giant cachapas (corn pancakes) filled with queso de mano (white handmade cheese) and topped with nata with a side of chicharrones (pork cracklings). Definitely could be a meal in itself and expect to take a nap afterwards! Everything is done so traditional, and the flavor is on point! There's so much more I still have yet to try on their menu. They have tacos, arepas, fajitas, patacones, and all the typical desserts. I did get a mango juice and was happy that it was obviously real mango and not just a syrup or flavoring! Overall this is quickly becoming a favorite Latin restaurant and I suggest you run (CÓRRETE!) to El Toque!

    Tequenos y Queso Frito

This was our first time and we were pleasantly surprised! We only have pictures of our appetizer's because we were so hungry we dung into our entres but eveything was super yummy and flavorful. Jenifer & Chris were amazing and their service was above and beyond making sure my husband and I were taken care of when they had a pretty full house. My closests friends are Venezuelan and this hit close to home!! Arepa de Caracas was big and full of flavor and I had the miss Venezuela (3 mini arepas) YUMMY great if you want to try a little bit of everything!

Patacon was amazing! Fresh, crispy, tasty.

The food is as authentic as they make it. As a Venezuelan that grew up there, this satisfies my cravings for the food I ate for so many years, and the price is just right as well. Their cachapas are my most requested item. Every Venezuelan will tell you cachapas are the one item that sets apart legit restaurants from the rest, and theirs doesn't disappoint. If you really want your mind blown, get some teque-yoyos. It's dangerous to live less than 10 min from this place!!

    Desayuno Llanero

We love everything in this place. The ambiance layout is an open invitation to have a good time. The food had an authentic Venezuelan flavor. Everything was delicious, sancocho, desayuno llanero, parillita pastelitos, and don't let me start with the chicha, . but the best part of this experience was our server Cris, she went above and beyond, super nice and friendly, knows very well the menu and make good suggestions and recommendations. Thank you, Cris.

GREAT food! Was headed to another place to eat and ended up here. We were the only English speakers in there. Loved the Venezuelan cuisine. The service was really good as well. Not much of an atmosphere, BUT I came for food not ambiance.

This place opened up in my local mall relatively recently. It advertises itself to be Latin food,…read moreto appeal to the masses, but upon closer inspection, it has a focus on Venezuelan cuisine, which is super fun. I saw it one day, I was oooh, and I dove into the menu. I ordered three things and split them. Tequenos (Venezuelan cheese sticks). These look like little pastry dough mummies wrapped around a cheesestick, and they are flavorful and lovely. Very crispy and flakey on the outside. Ooey gooey, warm cheese on the inside. If you come, you Have to get these. Tata's Tostones with shredded chicken (3 Tostones with shredded chicken, queso de mano, pico de gallo + green sauce). These were fun, like tostadas, but with a tostone base. A very crispy, strong base, that held up well against all the toppings. The chicken was very well seasoned, and there was a lot of it. The pico was everywhere, and was very welcome, adding some pico to every single bite. And the queso was a slab of cheese that added a cheesy chewiness to each bite. Just lovely. I also got something that I can't place exactly on the online menus. But it was a steak stuffed arepa sandwich with some pico, some shredded cheese, and some crema. It was very good. The arepa shell was a little dry, but when pico and crema are everywhere, it doesn't matter. It all came together in a deliciousness. And the steak, even though it was cut up really small, it wasn't overcooked. It was good. Get this. Just get everything.

Just a heads up, don't let the exterior confuse you, yes, it's attached to like an auto body shop or mechanic shop but you are in the right place. After we figured that out it was easy peasy. We really enjoyed our food, the burger was awesome and the arepas were messy, but yummy too. The arepas were cut all the way through which I previous had eaten them more as like a pita pocket with one end closed so the goodies fell out when I bit into it. The brisket was so flavorful! One thing was that the brisket had a lot of grease, I put a napkin under my arepas so that they wouldn't get soggy and the napkin was soaked. It didn't deter me from enjoying my meal though, it just made it a little messy. I know for next time to immediately put something underneath the arepa. We enjoyed our meal and I'm already thinking about the next time I can go back!

At the time I am posting, they had 265 reviews on Google and a 5-star rating. Well deserved. Highly recommend the cane sugar lemonade, made in-house. Nom effing nom !!!

Luckily, it looked like the brunch crowd was thinning out so we were able to get a table without a reservation. Bulla serves tapas style meaning you should probably get at least two items if you are not sharing with the table. Looking at the menu, my husband and I both realized that if you are going to get three items each, it really was the best value to get the Brunch Prix Fixe for $32 although it did seem like a lot of food. In hindsight, we probably should have shared one Brunch Prix Fixe and then got one or two other items as I ended up taking food home. There is also a Bottomless Sangrias and Mimosas for $23 but we aren't big drinkers. I did get a hot tea though. For the first course, I ordered the Potato Tortilla and my husband ordered the Sopa de Garbanzo Frita. As soon as they arrived, I realized it was going to be too much food because each one was huge. My potatoes were very thinly sliced and soft and delicious, especially with a swipe of the garlic aioli. My husband liked his chickpea soup but did say it was a little spicy. It also comes with a poached egg in the soup. That was another thing - most of the Prix Fixe items, especially the second course, come with either fried or poached egg and I only eat scrambled which made it hard to choose the next course. I got the Chicken and Waffles which came with three thin breaded chicken fillets sandwiched between super fluffy waffle quarters, served with a rosemary maple syrup. It was all so good, that you could eat the chicken and the waffles without the syrup if you wanted but I used the syrup for the herby flavor. I took home two of the waffle quarters and one piece of chicken for a waffle sandwich at home. My husband's braised pork hash was also really good, and came with another poached egg. For the final sweets course, we both ordered the Hazelnut Waffles (yes, yes, I know, I ordered two waffle dishes in a row). These were so yummy, just slathered with Nutella, whipped white chocolate cream, and chocolate chips. All in all, a great brunch!

Everything was explained extremely well and throughout the entire meal it felt like if I needed something someone would be there. I sat at the hightops near the bar. Comfortable, casual, ready to eat. The course started with a sangria: Red, white, or beer. Wait, what... beer? Okay, that's new to me. New enough to not even think of the others....and, it worked. The beer was more of a light aftertaste. Nothing like I would have imagined. I started with the TOMATILLO HUMMUS - Tomatillo salsa, jalapeño, fried chickpeas, coca slices. Tasty and more filling than I thought it would be. Following that was the TRUFFLE CARBONARA - Linguini, wild mushrooms, bacon, garlic cream, green peas, poached egg. A great version of a carbonara dish! If this wasn't my one meal of the day, I would have been taking half of it home with me. To end the adventure I went for the CHURROS CON CHOCOLATE - Traditional fried dough, chocolate sauce, dulce de leche. A perfect way to conclude the dinner. Not too big, but certainly not too small either. Yes, I'll be back -- and not just myself next time!
