Part time vegan by choice (if the food is good). Can definitely say this as a true statement for this gem of a place. Tucked inside a business plaza, Veggie Garden is like grandma's house. The woman at the counter is the sweetest. The food? Phenomenal. Fresh. Flavorful. Comfort Food to the tee. Food is not overly complicated. Not heavy. Perfect.

Hole in the wall mom and pop shop with some of the best vegan food in Orlando. I will always ride for Veggie Garden.

I forgot the name of this, but it was a tasty tofu based fried roll.

Absolutely delicious vegan food served by sweet ladies. There were so many choices, it was hard to make a decision, but we were very happy with our pho, spring rolls, and the other items we ordered. We liked the window seats that faced out to a small courtyard. Not a lot of room to eat there, but we were able to be seated immediately on a Sunday afternoon.

I almost hate to write a review here because this restaurant is the very definition of a "hole in the wall." There are only five small tables and it is very basic. But, as mostly plant-based people (we eat vegetarian or even pescatarian sometimes when we eat out) this is probably our favorite place to visit for breakfast, lunch or dinner. We have been visiting for years and have never had anything that was less than delicious of the many items we have tried. The food is very imaginative and, we believe, authentic Vietnamese vegan cuisine. Recently, we tried their "Tet Special" and #27. We also always get a sampler of their appetizers as well. Now we have two new favorites. Check out their menu if you want the details, but the food is even more tasty than it looks.

this was my first time trying veggie garden! i ordered pickup on the website (which is apparently new) and felt the food was a reasonable price. i will add (for feedback purposes) that i wish the website has customizable options or an input section. for example, i'm allergic to nuts so i wasn't able to order a few things but it's one of those cases where the nuts could just not be added to the top of the dish. it would be helpful to have a section on the website when ordering where i could specify things like that! i took my food home and i felt like the portions were great for the price! i enjoyed a few different dishes to sample but i'll definitely be back to try more. i would definitely recommend anything with the vegan ham in it.. it's delicious! the way the tofu was prepared was great too. it had a lot of flavor and the texture was good. i'd definitely recommend trying this restaurant out. along with takeout, they have an area to dine in and i think a few tables outside as well.

My friend recently became vegetarian, and we were looking for new places to eat. I have always seen it for years while going to the other restaurants but never thought to stop by until recently. As soon as I came in, I was welcomed by the owner. She had a list of recommendations and also gave us a free bao for coming in to support her business. The Bun Hue was surprisingly my favorite. I thought that since there wasn't a beef broth base, it would lack flavor and depth, but it was quite the opposite. It had the essence of Bun Bo Hue and the depth but with a different taste since it is veggie based. I would not recommend fried rice. The rice was soggy, and the spam substitute had a weird aftertaste. The bao, on the other hand, was worth it. The bao was soft, and the filling was juicy and filled to the brim. I was surprised by the amount of options that Veggie Garden provided. Though I haven't been able to go back, it is definitely one of my favorite restaurants for vegetarian and vegan options.

It's hard to find this place. Food options are pretty much good. I did not dine in. I just ordered ready-made food. Ordered the jackfruit and eggplant dish to go. It was tasty. The jackfruit was on the saltier side. It's pretty quiet place.

I went through a two-month vegan phase recently (yes, prompted by "The Game Changers"), and found myself almost exclusively eating at home, as vegan restaurant fare in Orlando didn't appeal for the most part. One exception was Veggie Garden, where I came for the Bun Hue a handful of times. I loved the flavors, the textures, and the spiciness of the dish, and was impressed by how much flavor depth they were able to create without fish sauce or beef stock. Also, the people running the restaurant are very friendly, and the little courtyard patio is a nice place to eat and relax. Will I return now that I'm no longer eating vegan? Maybe not as often, but definitely.

Tasty decent vegan bun bo hue. Reminiscent of my childhood in some ways. First time eating food like this without family around makes things all the more appreciative.

Veggie garden is an Orlando hidden gem. It is a modest, barebones restaurant, and smells so good inside. With all vegan items and plenty of gluten-free options, it is an amazing place for dietary needs. The owner was very accommodating, explaining what had gluten and what did not. The food came out pretty quickly. The food was flavorful, fresh, and affordable. I really enjoyed the fresh roll, and I still dream of their fantastic chili garlic topping (pictured here). We got the fresh rolls, vermicelli, and buddha bowl. After ordering, I had major FOMO (fear of missing out) and if I could do it again, I would choose the multi-entree option, where you pick up to 3 different entrees to mix. Honestly, I wanted to try everything on the menu. I was particularly fond of their pickled daikon (comes on the side). The food in their deli case also looks very good and you can order their many vegan proteins, sides, and sauces to-go. Thank you for a delicious meal, and I will be back very soon! Gluten-free note: apparently the soy sauce is all gluten-free but they re-used the old containers on the tables so it looks like regular soy sauce. Not sure how that works for those who are super sensitive, but from other reviews it does not seem to be an issue.

We started with the crispy chicken dumplings--crispy on the outside with a juicy, tender chicken filling. Perfect way to kick things off. We continued with three items: Beef Stew (Bún Bò Kho), Orange Chicken, and Sautéed Cubed Beef "Shaking Beef" (Cơm Bò Lúc Lắc). The Beef Stew (Bún Bò Kho) was heaven on a dish. The beef stew was easily the standout--rich, flavorful, and the beef was so tender it practically melted in your mouth. The vermicelli noodles were just as impressive. Just reminiscing about it makes my mouth water. The "Shaking Beef" was served over white rice (highly recommend), and every bite was better than the last. The garlic butter sauce really takes it over the top. Don't be fooled by the Orange Chicken--Boneless chicken, fried perfectly and coated in their authentic sweet orange sauce. The best Orange Chicken in town, hands down. No chance of leftovers here--you won't want to put your fork down.

From the moment I walked in, the welcoming atmosphere and incredible aromas set the stage for a fantastic dining experience. Every spoonful delivered a perfect balance of savory spices and comforting warmth. The beef was tender ano plentiful, while the fresh herbs, bean sprouts, lime, and jalapeños allowed me to customize each bite exactly to my taste. On the hunt to try out cuisines I don't venture in often, this local gem popped right on up. Upon entry, it was very date-night coded. With various Vietnamese and cultural decor moments and the mood lighting, it was a nice little oasis / getaway from the usual. They had a nice playlist going and there was more than enough seating. Service was phenomenal. Now, at the time of my visit, it wasn't a busy night. It was only a handful of people there. So, our waitress was able to be super attentive and was so kind to our table. Our orders came out fresh, hot and quickly! I ordered one of their pho options, and it was super flavorful. It was also quite a bit of food, so, I did have leftovers to take home and finish the following day. It held up well and it was just as good the next day as it was the night I got it. Pricing is AWESOME! They are a Michelin Bib Gourmant restaurant - which means, it is "a prestigious award recognizing restaurant that serves exceptional, high-quality food at great value." The quality of the food alongside the pricing, just makes it worthwhile. They definitely deserve the hype and rave!! I think any time you go to a restaurant that serves a type of ethnic cuisine, they focuses on the main or big dishes. For example, Vietnamese restaurants will always feature pho somehow and Cuban restaurants will always feature the Cuban sandwich in some capacity. However, street food or dishes that are small and meant for grab and go and sharing and to be affordable is not often featured at big sit down restaurants. The other thing is when street food is featured on a fancy sit down menu, the small plates and street food always cost more than it should in my opinion. Z Asian really surprised me in that I didn't think the prices were to unfair and it still felt elevated. They are a Michelin Bib Gourmand restaurant. We went here for a date night after watching Obsession. By the way, the movie is one of the best horror movies of this year in my opinion and I think a lot of people's opinion. We parked in the back lot as they don't really have a whole lot of street parking. That was confusing entering the restaurant since we entered from the back and it wasn't clear if the restaurant was open or if we walked in through the wrong door. We got seated fast and the waitress was really nice and engaging. We ordered banh khot, which is basically a mini banh xeo. Banh khot is an eggy crepe mixture that is panfried into a circle and a small amount of seafood is placed into the middle of it. It's small and finger food sized and served with pickled veggies and fresh lettuce and fish sauce to drizzle or dip. My rating is a 9.5/10. It was crispy and full of flavor. We also tried the mango tofu salad. It's similar to a ceviche. This was a 9/10. It has a little heat to it but very good and not too wet. We then ordered grilled mussels with is what it sounds like. It's mussels halves grilled with fish sauce and crushed peanuts sprinkled on top. I rate this a 8/10. I never see this in restaurants. On a good day, I can crush like 20 of these and call it girl dinner. We got the grilled corn as well. This is corn kernels grilled in butter and garlic topped with Sriracha. I rate this a 6.5/10. I think it's a good street dished but it underwhelmed me because it's just the corn and there wasn't a vehicle to deliver it to my mouth. The last item we tried was the grilled chicken rice noodles. This was a flavorful dish of veggies and chicken and rice noodles that are cooked in a pan. The rating is a 8.5/10. My overall rating is 9/10. They bill was on the higher end but I felt like it was worth the food we were eating the service and ambiance.
