The Service The counter service was excellent with the girl assisting with my kiosk order. You'll eat your biscuit at the counter as there is no table service. The Food Unfortunately, they lose a star if you want anything other than a biscuit. I wanted a biscuit with a side of scrambled eggs and sausage. That wasn't going to happen as the only thing available was a pre-made egg and a thin slice of sausage. I also like to put honey on my biscuit and the honey that was provided was clearly watered down. Another star lost. An unusual twist, which is a pain, is the fact that if you want a coffee or a tea, you have to go to another vendor in the building. Bottom line, if you're looking for a biscuit, this is a good place to get one. Just bring your own honey. If you're looking for a biscuit with your breakfast, you may want to look elsewhere. read more

I used to eat here a lot when I was vegan, and even though I'm not anymore, I still try to eat plant based whenever possible AND I still like to come here and treat myself to one of their sandwiches or their kfc box. Even my mom will tell me when she's in town: "Let's go to that place that does those delicious sandwiches that are imposter meat". Yikes. I've been coming here for years, and I've always had a good experience. But I'm leaving right now and I was just rubbed the wrong way. The lady with short hair, septum piercing? Took forever to acknowledge me. Multiple people had gotten their orders. Then finally she asked me what the name of my order was. I told her. When my order was finally ready, it was her body language. She took a moment to slowly swing around she then put my order in front of me, I said "thank you" and she gave me the meanest death stare. Did not say anything else. I'm sorry but this was absolutely uncalled for. The only thing I said to her was my name and thank you. I did nothing to deserve her attitude. And it's funny because she was laughing with the other employees behind the line, on her phone where guest can see perfectly fine right before she switched up. Yum! This was a lucky find we stumbled upon at the East End Market. Didn't realize it was vegan at first. The biscuits are just a teaser. Everything on the menu looks fantastic. I'm now regretting that we didn't try the chik tenders. Apparently they are the hot ticket. You order at a screen right on the counter; the photos and detailed descriptions help you make the difficult decision. You can sit at the counter, diner-style, or eat outside on the picnic tables. Food was ready in 5 or 10 minutes. We went for the WBPC burger and Chopped Cheese sandwich and a side Kale Caesar Salad. And we had to try a biscuit. The burger was solid. Good bun, not too big, soft and light. My husband loved the Chopped Cheese. It's very saucy and flavorful. The kale salad was simply scrumptious. I make one that is similar. The crunchy bread crumbs (everything biscuit crumble in this case) make it above anything average. The biscuit, although containing no butter, is delicious. The flavor and texture are excellent. My only negative is the jam it comes with, Smucker's grape jelly. You can pay extra for Bonne Maman or vegan honey, but that seemed annoying after having placed the order. The staff seemed a bit irritated with me asking about the bacon, but I get it, since they were busy. I wasn't acknowledged till I got the attention of one of the workers. The other family at the counter was being well taken care of though, and was having good conversation with the other worker. The bacon is made from seaweed and agar agar. The biscuit was delicious! Service was fine. You order from a kiosk, I hate that, and the only interaction I get with a human was when he called my number out. But, I think the kids like not interacting with humans. Not sure. Anyway, the food. It was redonk. We ordered the Crispy Chik Sandwich (Crispy Chik Cutlet with Lettuce, Tomato, Pickles & Mayo on a toasted Brioche Bun). I cannot believe the illusion magic they do with this thing. The mega-thicc cutlet it so delicious. The outside crunch of the things, you would never guess that it was vegan. If the cutlet was a little thinner, you might not ever know the whole thing was vegan. So delicious. Accented by the fresh veg, more illusion food with the mayo and the brioche, just a lovely little sandwich. Overall, I could not believe how good this place was.
