I loooove Flora in every aspect: Tulum vibes, super delicious healthy food, great coffee, and attentive staff. We've come here a few times for brunch and had lunch once as well. Their brunch burger is literally the best thing you can have in the morning - it's super filling and bite your tongue delicious. The plant burger tastes amazing and pairs beautifully with the truffle sauce. The side of roasted potatoes with guava aioli was so good it could be a separate meal. My bf, who is super anti-vegetarian, loves this burger, which says a lot, lol. The avo-corn toast was great too. It had just enough of a corn twist to make it different but still hit that avocado craving. The cacio e pepe squash pasta truly impressed me. It was so creamy! Better than in many Italian restaurants. It also comes with a glass of wine, which completes the experience. I appreciate that they have good coffee, because it's such a rare thing for a restaurant to care about it. The vibes are absolutely there. This place literally transports me away from the noise of Miami and makes me slow down. I'd say it's on the pricier side, but the quality is totally there, the food is innovative, and the atmosphere is great.

Flora is undeniably cute. The patio is charming, the weather was perfect, and the vibe definitely gives "Miami brunch moment." Even the bathroom is a moment: Stylish, aesthetic, and very much photo-worthy. We were seated outside right away, water came quickly, menus followed...so far, so good. We ordered the steak sandwich and the chicken skewer bowl, plus a watermelon lemonade. Presentation-wise, everything looked great. The avocado on the sandwich was honestly the star perfectly done. That said, the steak sandwich itself was a little too rich. The aioli overpowered the flavors, especially for a $29 sandwich (plus a $3 sweet potato surcharge ). At $33, I was hoping for a bit more balance. The chicken skewer bowl, however, was a hit my friend really enjoyed it, and it felt like the better value overall. Service-wise, this is where things fell a bit flat. We came with my pup Henry, and despite puppy water bowls being scattered all over the patio, our server didn't acknowledge him or offer one ....we had to ask. Small thing, but noticeable, especially at a dog-friendly spot. There also wasn't much engagement overall, no recommendations, no dessert mention, no "how's everything tasting?" When I asked for the check, the response was a slightly curt "give me a minute," which didn't feel very warm. He then went on to drop off water bottles at other tables before circling back to ask if we wanted coffee. All in all: adorable atmosphere (bathroom included), decent food, but mid for the price point and service that didn't quite match the setting. I'd come back for the patio and vibes, maybe stick to lighter dishes, but I hope the hospitality grows to match how pretty the place is.

Yummy healthy hidden gem! This spot is not only relaxing and aesthetic to the eye, but also has amazing service, ample seating and great food to boot. I LOVED the mushroom sandwich + the cocktails were incredible. I want to come back to enjoy their pastries and coffee selections which also look delicious!

yummy bowls and very cute aesthetic and vibe!! we sat outside and each got a different type of bowl. mine had sweet potato's, egg, guacamole, pico, beans. a lot of my fav things in one place. i also like how they have some specialty juices. i will def be back.

Flora Plant Kitchen is great if you're vegetarian, but if you're actually vegan, don't expect much. Nearly every menu item contains eggs and/or cheese, and they don't offer simple vegan swaps like aioli, cheddar, or cotija. Instead, they charge $5 extra just to remove egg and cheese from avocado toast and add vegan chorizo--how does that make sense? When the avocado toast arrived my husband looked and said, "maybe that is worth $20!" And I had to remind him it was actually $25. For a place that calls itself "plant-powered," it sure makes things difficult for vegans. If you're just looking for vegetarian options, you'll be fine. But if you're expecting a truly plant-based experience, prepare to be disappointed Service was great and the overall layout of the place was cool. Won't be back.

Absolutely beautiful restaurant right off us one. It feels like you're in the middle of Tulum. I love their plant-based menu, everything is so delicious. And they don't use any seed oils! The manager came over multiple times and asked how everything was going. Great service great food great vibe.

Flora plant kitchen has a free parking lot in the back, very welcome for Miami. The design was very nice with a lot of wood and natural elements. Service was above average. Everyone who helped us was pretty friendly, especially Daniel who helped me navigate my no dairy requirement. Initially they were hesitant to modify dishes, but they did eventually do their best to cater for this intolerance. I appreciated that. Food was tasty. Vegetarian only, but not vegan (the do have dishes though). I really enjoyed the mushroom starter as well as the charcoaled grilled veggies. With the right crew and mood, I'd return and recommend. It's a very inviting space.

Absolutely love it here! I love the aesthetics the decor, the openess of the place and outside seating. I like how it's natural wood outside with a focus on the plants. Very cute aesthetically pleasing boho, island vibes. We were seated immediately but our waitress was a little slow. We had iced lattes, the avocado toast, and the acai bowl. The avocado toast had good flavor, good avocado, but wish it was two poached eggs instead of one to add more protein. The acai bowl came pretty melted. It needs more to it. Maybe blueberries and some chocolate chips or a scoop of peanut butter. I would come back to try a smoothie but the food wasn't overwhelmingly good.

I went to Flora thinking it was a plant-based/vegan friendly restaurant based on its name. I was very disappointed to find out all plates has either dairy or egg or both which I can't consume. The only option I had was the avocado toast removing the egg and cheese of which was just ok nothing special for $20. The decaf oat milk latte was good and a good size, the side of potatoes (this is an extra cost not included with toast) didn't really have much flavor. The place is very nice beautifully decorated and good music gives it a nice vibe. Overall I will not be returning as a plant-based customer. read more

Great food, vibe, service. Definitely going back. I had the pancakes which were yummy little soufflés with peaches and toasted almonds. My wife' had the French toast, an individual loaf with berry compote. Juices were spot on. The server even brought extra napkins, without my asking. After many aesthetically pleasing videos on my feed highlighting this spot, I decided to finally make my way over and check Flora Plant Kitchen. I came in on a Saturday morning to enjoy a sip of coffee and a post workout energizing breakfast and received just that. I ordered the golden tumeric latte - highly recommended, filled with flavor, dates, cardamom, ashwagandha, vanilla bean, and black pepper. We also ordered the Sunrise Breakie Bowl; with sunny side ups, grilled halloumi, avo and toast -- it was the perfect addition to fuel my morning. If you're looking for good, healthy veggie forward bites, I'd recommend this spot. :) read more

Loved the corn on the cob, salad and mushroom, (Maitake) skewer. A bit pricey. All dishes very tasty. Mushrooms were a tad watery tasting. Overall thoroughly enjoyed our meal. This is an interesting addition to the Miami food scene as sit-down vegetarian restaurants are few and far between. While many plant based restaurants these days are focused on vegan faux-meat dishes (which can be great), the dishes here really focus on beautifully charred vegetables with fresh/simple ingredients otherwise. While eggs and dairy are on the menu, I think they are used very intelligently and there are vegan options/versions if you're on a fully plant-based diet. As far as ambiance, the inside is cozy with an organic modern style while the outdoors has resort vibes with a bamboo covered area that kept us dry in the rain. The servers all seemed enthusiastic about the food and knew the tight menu very well. Everything is on the pricey side, but comes on gorgeous dishes with elegant plating. The veggie tartare was fresh and appetizing. The black risotto was the best risotto I've ever had (sorry Italy). The mushroom & mash dish had incredible depth of flavor. And the pavlova was such a bright and addictive way to finish the meal. I encourage you to give it a try, vegetarian or otherwise! read more

Plant powered food with a Latin twist located in Morningside Miami Fl this delicious and aesthetic restaurant is the newest rave in the area. Serving fresh ingredients but what really wowed us as the service and attentiveness. Choose from indoor or outdoor seating surrounded by the greenery is a vibe. Had their Breakfast Sandwich with eggs, mozzarella, pesto, guava aioli and more - a flavor explosion that left me wanting more. Servings are pretty generous so it was enough for two! Beautiful Ambiance but food and service just didn't match unfortunately. Went for brunch on a Sunday at 11am, Ordered the "fluffy" pancakes (which were more like biscuits) and they were not sure if they would have enough for myself and a friend who wanted to order the same "popular" dish. And tried the truffle Benny which I felt wasn't too overwhelming with truffle but maybe also missing the decadence that I was expecting from it I give that a 4/5 stars. SOOOO GOOD! i'm stoked that there's a new restaurant in the area with nourishing, delicious options other than buddha bowls! the atmosphere is AMAZING. i see myself coming in for brunch, or a date, or to do some work on the computer. their coffee is delicious and they also nail the matcha (and how well a place makes their matcha is a big deal to me in terms of me coming back ajjaja) highly recommend the shakshuka for a hearty brunch. service was also great! will be coming back read more

As I walked into this restaurant the first thing that I noticed was the heavenly smell of coffee. The bohemian decoration and furniture so well thought out. The host was very welcoming and the staff were all attentive to us. The food came out so beautifully presented and the taste was everything I expected. Established in 2023.

Founded in October 2023 by Marnie Gelhard of DMS Earth Hospitality Group, FLORA was born from a desire to bring mindful, vibrant dining to Miami. Originally opened as Flora Plant Kitchen, the restaurant quickly became a neighborhood favorite for its fresh, handcrafted dishes and welcoming atmosphere. Inspired by travels through Colombia and Mexico, FLORA’s menu celebrates Latin flavors, local ingredients, and seasonal creativity. What began as a plant-forward concept has since evolved into a more encompassing kitchen — one that continues to honor sustainability and wellness while welcoming all eaters to the table. “Flora has always been about connection — to food, to nature, to community,” says Gelhard. “As we grow, our goal is to stay rooted in that same spirit of care and craftsmanship, while expanding the ways we bring people together around good food.”

My favorite restaurant in Miami. I spent a long weekend in Florida and ate here every day for breakfast. The food is so fresh and delicious, I left feeling satisfied and healthy. One of my favorites was the Breakfast Sandwich. It comes on toasted sourdough with scrambled eggs, spinach, avocado, and mozzarella, but the best part was the chipotle guava aioli and the pine nut pesto. The combination of flavors was insane, my new favorite breakfast sandwich for sure. I also really loved the Flora Latin Bowl, which had plant-based chorizo, rice, beans, purple sweet potatoes and caramelized onions. The bowl left me satisfied all day, and was perfect fuel for my workout that afternoon. Finally, I have to mention the fresh juices. We started our meal with a Wellness Shot which was so bright and tasty, but I also really loved the Amor - beets, Valencia orange and carrot. I also have to note how beautiful the space is. A brand new build, with familiar, but modern notes that makes the place feel like a little oasis away from the bustle of Miami. I visited this restaurant for brunch with my cousin, who is vegetarian, and my husband and I, who are not. We all really enjoyed it! The food was great -- we especially loved the arepitas. We also ordered a platter that had truffle (I don't remember the exact name), but you could barely taste the truffle. Other than that, everything else we tried was delicious. The food took a bit long to arrive, but the service was good throughout. One of the owners was there and even offered us wellness shots on the house, which were amazing and definitely made up for the wait. Two of us shared the sunrise Brekkie bowl, the açai bowl, the Breakfast Sandwich and Colombian Cheese Arepas and Flora Veggie Hamburguesa with delicious spicy fingerling potatoes and a mixed green salad.
