I had two tile backsplashes and one tile bathroom floor/wall done by floors4u about one year ago, and I'm extremely disappointed by the work. I do not recommend them at all for tile. First of all, the installation of the tile bathroom was terrible and showed so much inexperience -- they left grout to dry over night on top of the tiles, and then once it was set, they could not get the grout off so they had to power sand/wire brush the dried up grout off. It ruined the finish of the tiles, and there are sanding/scratches on the tile. Tile backsplash was standard subway style glass tile, and now about a year and a half later, random tiles started coming loose and falling off. The backsplash gets no wear and tear at all, so there is no reason for this tile to be falling off piece by piece, except poor workmanship now showing after a year. When I contacted Alex to repair the fallen off tiles, they were going to charge to repair it because it is over 12 months (it's 17 months old). I got a couple other bids on the repair, and other tile/flooring companies said they cover any bad work and that it is very uncommon for backsplash tiles to fall off like this in a year. Two companies said the wrong adhesive was used for glass tiles. read more

Do not do business with these guys! I signed a contract with Floors4U to replace flooring in my kitchen/dinning room. A few hours after arriving and starting work, I get a text message demanding a deposit, which I paid. After a few hours I got a call from ownership saying that work is too hard and going too slowly therefore it would cost me an additional $4,000 to complete the work. I should have fired them at this point but did not big mistake. Their behavior only gets worse after this and they tried charge inflated prices for other tasks until I fired them. read more

We just completed a kitchen remodel where Floors4U installed our gorgeous engineered hardwood floors. The original subfloors was concrete and extremely uneven, so Floors4U leveled everything out with self-leveling concrete and sanded down concrete bulges that were in the way. Before beginning work, all our questions were answered and we were given a rough explanation of the work process. All work was completed in a timely manner and with professional procedures. Floors4U just installed bamboo flooring floating over a cork underlayment in my condo. Floors4U deserves 10 stars and here's why: Many people did not even bother to call me back because my job wasn't big enough. Well, I needed my bedroom and closet done, so plenty big for me. Their prices were not just reasonable but very competitive. After getting a bunch a wacked out highballs, they were right in line with what worked for me. Very professional to work with. They got back to me ASAP in all correspondence, provided just the right info my HOA wanted, and were the sole part of the remodeling stressball that was NOT stressful. I have 2 cats and they were very mindful of that fact...when I got home they were both purring happily, so no trauma! Alex and the crew were friendly and hardworking. And most importantly, the work is impeccable. They were fast, neat, came up with creative solutions after some transitions were not delivered on time that just plain work. I DO NOT recommend. First of all, Floors4U are only installers of another company's flooring product. If you have a problem with the quality of the floors, they tell you to deal with the flooring people and they flooring people tell you to deal with Floors4U. I'm having problems with my floors now after installation just 5 months ago and have not been called back for a resolution from either company. When I called Alex to discuss the problems he said he had nothing to do with it... you actually did, Alex, you sold me a product that you later told me was low quality. You indicated it was my fault for not installing real hardwood flooring. If that's the case, why would you charge so much to install something that is cheap quality?? I don't get it and feel that I am now stuck having paid a ton of money for really low quality, not durable flooring. Very disappointed. read more

I just bought a new house and it had beautiful marble floor but around the marble it was all ugly maple floor,so i wanted to change the color of the maple floor to a dark color like brazilian cherry as the marble floors were very light and it needed some dark color to go with it. I called one contractor after another as no one would be able to do the job as they were not sure how much to sand the top layer of the wood and then stain it to a dark color. There came 9 different people. And some of them said they have to rip the entire floor and get new floor installed as the floor looks too thin to sand and there is no way around it. But i was sooo fortunate to find Floors4u and they made my ugly floors look gorgeous in 3 days. Their team was great and they made the floors so amazingly beautiful and also with a very good price! I highly recommend them for any work on floor, they use very good quality product and are very reliable too! I had a great experience with their knowlege about their work and product.
