While the job was completed at a reasonable price, it was more trouble than it should have been. I'd choose another company if I had to do it over again. Despite paying Dan to handle all aspects of the install, his contractors relied on my condo building engineer to complete some of the work, and even left early before the job was finished. When Dan sent a final payment request without following up on the end results, I messaged him to let him know there were some areas that required touching up. As a paying customer, I didn't think it was unreasonable to let him know that some areas were not completed to my satisfaction, but he didn't respond well to this communication and got very defensive. Another resident in my building reported a similar experience with Dan. Eventually, one of his contractors came back out and begrudgingly completed the requested touch-ups. A little less than a year after the install, I had some issues with an area of the install. I reached out to Dan for recommendations, but he never responded.

Since having three main living area floors completed, I have had Century Tile remodel two of my bathrooms. Christy always makes sure all materials are ordered and delivered on time prior to the job and can always be trusted to lean you in the correct direction both in terms of style and quality. Mike, their project coordinator, is beyond great. Just as with the first job, he is always a phone call or text away to answer any questions. He also send the best people he has to complete the job, both in terms of skills needed as well as adhering to your timeline. No matter how many jobs he has going, he consistently checks in with his workers and you to make sure items are going smoothly. Added onto this, the workers are not only skilled, but a pleasure to work with. He gave me a quote for demo and installation (I'd say in the middle range of all the quotes I was able to get) and he helped me pick out the flooring. We had carpet in the bedrooms (which I swear had stuff growing in it, it was so disgusting) and we had poor quality/cheap engineered hardwood in the living areas. JP tore out the carpet and old hardwood and replaced it all with a very good quality engineered hardwood. I went with an engineered hardwood made by Mirage Floors, Carousel finish, wide planks, a pretty thick top layer which means it should last a while and can be refinished a few times, and I love it so much. It looks so amazing and professionally done. JP also installed a cork underlayment for soundproofing, and I think it also evens out the floor and makes it softer/more comfortable to walk on. Every step of the way Johnny was helpful, kind and responsive. I have two condos in the South Loop (in the same building) and our building association can be pretty demanding when it comes to remodeling projects. A lot of paperwork, back and forth, and hoops to jump through. Johnny was cool as a cucumber the whole time, answered the association's questions and we met all the requirements before starting the project. Johnny and I agreed on a start date, he told me how long it would take, and he and his crew totally nailed it. They worked so, so hard. They showed up every day at 7am and worked until 5pm. Johnny said our 3-bedroom condo would take 7 days, and he said our 1-bedroom condo would take 3 days, and that's exactly how long it took. I also have to mention Johnny's brother, Danny, who was just fantastic. He was a big part of the process, too, and he made sure everything was done right. Like Johnny, Danny was so level-headed, kind, and incredibly hard-working. Highly recommend!

I'm not sure how they managed to sand my floors and even replace a few planks without dust throughout the whole house but they did! They were also very quick. They did all the floors on my main level in just a couple of days. I thought we were going to be displaced for at least a week but we were able to stay in our house the whole time! Chris worked with me to get just the right stain color. He knew what I was looking for even if I could not verbalize it very well. He custom mixed a few colors for me to see on the floor and we found the perfect one! Chris is such a nice gentleman and was a pleasure to work with. I would highly recommend this professional company for your hardwood floors! Did I say how gorgeous my floors look? They look gorgeous!!!!
