After showing them a picture with residual tile grout I was told $1500. A man from Dorion came to measure, and indicated that the job could be completed for much less. Yet when they provided the official estimate, it was back to $1500. I was able to find a company to level the floor and install the vinyl sheet for under $300 plus the cost of the vinyl. Was it because I am a senior citizen? Was it because I am a woman? Whatever the reason, I can only assume they were trying to take advantage of me.

The workers moved my heavy furniture and worked quickly and efficiently. I took a nap while they were working and when I woke up the carpeting was down and all the furniture was back perfectly placed.
