He was dependable, straightforward, and genuinely easy to work with throughout both projects. Compared with the other estimates I received, NG Floors was easily the best value for the money. My uncle, who is a general contractor, was pleasantly surprised by how great of a deal I received. I also really appreciated their flexibility with financing. At the time, they did not have an established financing partner, but after I asked about financing options, they went out of their way to build a relationship with a lending bank so I could finance my project. That level of effort meant a lot to me. I would definitely use NG Floors again for future projects, especially now that I know they handle home remodeling in addition to flooring. Thanks, Don!

Very disappointed with the customer service at this location. After visiting about five times, we…read morefinally purchased over $7,000 in flooring. We then returned and spent another $4,000 on carpeting for just one room and a closet, spending over $11,000 here in total. Before our flooring purchase, Trixie told us that unused, unopened boxes could be returned with a 25% restocking fee. The store came to our home twice and measured our floors, yet we ended up with two extra unopened boxes. When we tried to return one, Trixie told us for the first time that there was a five-box minimum and pointed to the contract. That may be what the contract says, but it is NOT what she represented to us when we made the purchase. Customers should be able to rely on what a salesperson tells them. But also, she stated that they try to overestimate the quantity as a favor to their customers by a few boxes. Why weren't we told this beforehand and if so, why didn't the over estimate by at least 5 boxes so there's an opportunity to return unused boxes. Seems to me like a scam to require their customer to buy a few more boxes than needed to line their pockets. What is especially disappointing is the complete lack of customer appreciation after spending over $11,000 here. We were actually planning to return and replace the carpeting throughout our entire second floor. After being treated this way, we will absolutely take that business elsewhere. They were sweet as pie when they wanted our money, but the customer service changed once they had it. We will not be returning. Take your business elsewhere, where your money and your patronage will be treated with appreciation and respect. BTW, Floor & Decor does not charge a restocking fee and has no minimum box requirement return, and they're just down the street.

We purchased a Cristallo quartzite slab from Domus Surfaces in North Highlands for our kitchen…read moreremodel and couldn't be happier with the entire experience. We had already shortlisted a slab and an installer at another store, after an exhaustive months' long selection process -- we only stopped by Domus to check off our due diligence before committing. Are we ever glad we did. From the first conversation, the owner Tamara Petrick gave us a great deal. That kind of straightforward, customer-first approach is rare in the slab business, and it's what won us over from the place we'd already picked. Her installer Sergio was equally impressive -- helpful, communicative throughout the whole process, and accommodated our request for a Saturday installation, which made scheduling so much easier for us. On installation day, the team headed by Edwin arrived right on time and was professional and courteous from start to finish. They worked efficiently and skillfully, carrying in each slab piece and placing it on the countertops with real care and precision. Watching them work, it was clear these are experienced craftsmen who take pride in what they do. Tammy kept in touch before, during, and after the install to make sure everything went perfectly and that we were fully satisfied. That follow-through says a lot about how she runs her business. The finished kitchen looks absolutely beautiful. If you're looking for any slab work -- countertops, islands, anything -- don't commit anywhere else until you've stopped by Domus Surfaces in North Highlands and asked for Tammy.
