The blinds failed--some can be raised but can't be lowered. They were "fixed" and failed again. It's been weeks and nothing has happened. I asked for a refund. There is a narrow window when blinds can be replaced, then there is a fee. All of the blinds are suspect for failure. My $7,000 purchase is a misery. Do your research -- Hunter Douglas' reputation has suffered, as has their quality control.

Once they got started they worked diligently until the job was done. We could not be more pleased with the outcome.

I offered to pay extra labor to make sure it was done right. They dumped a couple bags of leveling compound in 1 day and set the floor. The cabinet guys later pointed out the floor was still out of level and I have dips here and there where there should have been more compound. I called Craig back to the house to look at it and he said there nothing they can do. That was their best work. Well I'm here to tell you they charged me over 4k for this and now I'm stuck with it, I hate it and if I could rip my floor out and dump it in their F*CKING lobby I would. We then returned and spent another $4,000 on carpeting for just one room and a closet, spending over $11,000 here in total. Before our flooring purchase, Trixie told us that unused, unopened boxes could be returned with a 25% restocking fee. The store came to our home twice and measured our floors, yet we ended up with two extra unopened boxes. When we tried to return one, Trixie told us for the first time that there was a five-box minimum and pointed to the contract. That may be what the contract says, but it is NOT what she represented to us when we made the purchase. Customers should be able to rely on what a salesperson tells them. But also, she stated that they try to overestimate the quantity as a favor to their customers by a few boxes. Why weren't we told this beforehand and if so, why didn't the over estimate by at least 5 boxes so there's an opportunity to return unused boxes. Seems to me like a scam to require their customer to buy a few more boxes than needed to line their pockets. What is especially disappointing is the complete lack of customer appreciation after spending over $11,000 here. We were actually planning to return and replace the carpeting throughout our entire second floor. After being treated this way, we will absolutely take that business elsewhere. They were sweet as pie when they wanted our money, but the customer service changed once they had it. We will not be returning. Take your business elsewhere, where your money and your patronage will be treated with appreciation and respect. BTW, Floor & Decor does not charge a restocking fee and has no minimum box requirement return, and they're just down the street.

Bobs installed plank flooring using a discontinued product that was discontinued for a reason…read more After the installer rushed through the job, leaving junk under the new flooring, the whole floor puckered up. Bobs came back and pulled the whole floor up and glued it down...though it was supposed to be a floating flooring. A couple of months later the flooring puckered up again and Bobs would not come back and fix it. Now, I have a $7800 floor that looks bad in multiple spots. I thought i would patronize a local business, and boy did i get burned. I don't recommend Bobs discount carpeting in Grass Valley. Bob turned out to be a real jerk.

During our consultation we looked at different samples of flooring. We were educated on the differences between the types of flooring we were interested in which were, hardwood, luxury vinyl and carpeting. After learning about the differences in flooring, we narrowed our decision down to carpet and luxury vinyl. We received the quotes for both carpeting & luxury vinyl fairly quick. They were both reasonably priced which we were very happy with and we decided on the luxury vinyl. We originally were going to go with a pattern that had some grey hues to it but did some research online and found a deeper color vinyl that we fell in love with. We called David and asked if he had that specific tile available. He didn't have it in stock so he ordered it for us!!!! We were very happy that he was able to accommodate our request. David arrived on time the day of installation. The rest is history. We will be using Sierra Carpet to change the flooring in our remaining rooms, hallway and staircase. We bought our home 4 years ago now and were ready for a change. The carpet we had was 9 years old. Now we have the most beautiful flooring in our living area. It was a last-minute request and they did it over the weekend and they don't work on the weekends, Abbey is known for the quality of its materials and the expertise of its subcontractors and in this case the carpet subcontractor left the home very clean.
