I got my flooring here and it turned out fantastic. I ordered online and did a pickup and all my tiles were together and none were broken. The pickup process is behind the store. I normally don't ask for help, but when he approached me and offered his assistance, I ended up learning a lot and felt more confident in my selection for a backsplash tile and grout color to compliment it. I recently made my first trip to Floor & Decor and was instantly overwhelmed the moment I walked in the door because there are so many options. I audibly said "whoa" and this young man named Brendan jumped up right away and was there to help me. He walked my mother and I through the store showing us samples of different ideas that I had and helped me find the perfect match for my office. Marcus then joined us to help move things around and was also just an amazing help. These two gentlemen on your staff are top-notch and anyone who comes into this store should most definitely ask for them if they need help zeroing in on an idea for the floors.I showed them the office in the before pictures and told him kind of what I was looking for and he was all over it. I will say that the Tempe location has an amazing amount of choices to select from. Customer service was ok. I'm debating on using a full service flooring professional or purchasing product from Home Depot or Floor & Décor and finding an installer. One of my installers seemed very concerned that the quality of product was either 2nd run and not consistent and that they would not warranty installation of products from here. When I tried to ask about the quality, etc I did not get a lot of help or feedback. read more

I remodeled my entire house. I had a lot of items delivered, which you have to pay extra for of course. I was at work when the deliveries were made and my contractor was there. Floor and decor failed to deliver the edging for the tile for my walk-in shower. The guys never questioned it so they installed the tile without the edging. I found out after the face and it was too late. I have to have the contractor come back and tear out a bunch of tile so the edging can be added. Costing me several hundred dollars that I should've had to spend. When I went into floor and decor they refunded me the monies for items that they failed to deliver but didn't care that the items weren't delivered. They need to improve their quality control or have someone check the orders before they go out. I will not buy from them again! read more

For a warehouse type of store they've exceeded my expectation in the customer service department. The design people will walk around with you, make suggestions and print out a quote. I called to make an appointment and received a call back within hours. When I returned another time, I didn't have an appointment but received similar service from a sales rep. on the floor. He even grabbed a cart for me loaded everything, pushed the cart to the checkout and loaded it to my car. read more

Finding tile I realized involved multiple trips for me. Each time I went here I received the best customer service. One of the times we went in ready to buy the flooring for shower and Dylan? Sprays it with water and the tile ended up being a different color when wet. It would have thrown off the whole design. When we finally committed and went to buy all of tile they needed to get down a palette it took 5 minutes. 1st - This place brought my cost on great floor tile materials down from $1.29 per sq ft down to $1.09 per sq ft. I am very price sensitive on my projects and always trying to save as much as possible, so this would be a 5 star review for that. However, there was something extraordinary that occurred at this store too. It was customer service from an employee which border as an Interior Design Consultant, James. Most of my project was decided. However one part was not, a kitchen island, which would be the centerpiece for the entire home. I wanted it to shine, but did NOT want to spend too much. I spoke to James of Granite and Travertine and different possibilities. James walked me around around the floor, checked back inventory and even called competitors to see what was available. James got into my project with me and my concerns were became his concerns. James was patient, as I go back and forth considering the myriad of materials before me. In the end, James located what I wanted, a large 31''x18'' black granite tile. There were only 8 tiles left. 2 were damaged. I needed only 5 and James and Joe pretty much threw the damaged tiles in. For a tile which normally goes for $46.46 each, ended up beieng about $20 each! Although I haven't installed them yet, the tiles are better than I hoped to find. Now I am certain my kitchen will pop, now that the right materials are being used. So thank you James and manager, Joe for the help and Floor and Decor for offering wholesale prices to the public. We got our tile at this place. 500sq ft for about $700 including the grout and cement. They have a variety of choices and good prices. We're thinking of going back for some counter and island granite Check it out for reference and to compare against other places you might be looking at. One negative, is that we didn't have any actual consultants. There were some helpful employees that directed us in the right place. But when we were looking at grout choices we asked if it's better to go light or dark, and the response we got was "it's your choice". DUH, of course it's our choice but we wanted some suggestions on what most people pick and considering they're the "experts" we wanted some good info to make our choice. We went with a middle color, not too dark to make the floor look dirty, but not too light to where you can see it's dirty!! Either way, we were satisfied with our pick and our purchase. It is overwhelming if it's your first time. There are thousands of tiles and laminate items. We made the mistake of picking out our own. And then when we used their free design service, found a better more affordable product for our project. They have alot of discounted flooring items, and if you are positive on the amount you need, excellent clearance prices. Although there are a lot of floor employees walking around, in the end, I couldn't find anyone to help me load the tile on the cart, so bring a friend if you have a lot of product to buy. read more

Selection is way better than the big chain home improvement stores. Contractors order up by the truck load. TIP: Get about 15-20% more than the job requires. Nobody wants to shop for tile. But if you want a pretty new bathroom, tile shopping has to happen at some point. My boyfriend and I went to Floor & Décor twice, once to pick out tile, and another time to buy it. This review is for our second visit. We went in hoping to get enough boxes of tile to cover the two showers we are doing. There weren't enough boxes on the floor so we loaded up what was there and headed to the register figuring they could just check another store or order more. The first thing the cashier says is "these are different dye lots." Say what, now? Dye lots? I figured if it says pure snow tile, I'm getting all the same tile. Apparently that is not always the case. I'm SO glad she said something because we had no idea that was a thing. She called one of the designers over to help us out. The designer called the store on Camelback and they were a few boxes short of what we needed. So she ended up ordering them in a shipment instead and included a note to check the dye lot so we would be sure to get matching tiles throughout. This whole process took quite a bit of time but she was nice through it all. We placed our order and went home. Then, we talked to our contractor and realized what we ordered could potentially leave us short and we needed a few more boxes. So we went back to the store and luckily they were able to easily add a few boxes to our order. I really appreciate that the cashier brought the dye lot issue to our attention and I also really appreciate how they took the time to get us exactly what we needed. A home remodel is very stressful so every bit of help goes a long way. UPDATE: It did take longer than they said to get the tile. They quoted a week, but it took two and a half. So make sure you allow plenty of time to get your tile! read more

My husband and I went to this location in Tempe the first time because we were in the area. So we decided to go back and look at backsplash tiles. We made a decision and went back last Friday to purchase what we chose. Unfortunately there was this one employee that thought they were the mask police. We were both wearing one and my husband had just moved his for a moment to drink some water and my mask kept sliding down below my nose. So the mask police told my husband to put his back on, which he did and we continued looking at the tile. The guy continued standing there and then said "obviously she didn't hear me". I said I couldn't help that my mask kept falling down and he proceeded to raise his voice and tell us "then you have to leave". We said fine, we don't want to purchase from you anyway. That wasn't good enough for him, he continued to follow us to make sure we left, and even called for a manager. He was mouthing the whole time, letting us know that he's not the one that made the "law", that it was the Governor!! ( Oh and it's not a law) He continued to follow us and mouthing the whole time. We are not children and do not need to be treated that way. So with that, we went to the other store in Mesa, which is closer to us anyway. They were extremely kind, helpful and thoughtful. We will continue to take our business there! Tempe store, your employees need some training on being polite. read more

Okay, perhaps my 5 stars is based on the screaming deal I got, but WOW WHAT A DEAL!! My wife and I were looking at some laminate and vinyl flooring options. Fixing up a temporary double wide, so we were looking for cheaper options. Well a very helpful floor guy walked by and asked what we were looking for. We told him "Cheap". He said, "Let me show you some stuff I am trying to get rid of for dirt cheap."... A few minutes later we cleared out the whole lot of it for half it's price. So yes, the deal was amazing, and the help was super helpful. And now I tell all of my friends offline about this place, so why not tell all my friends online and whomever else about this place?! After spending a lot of money at the Camelback store and dealing with them since January, we went to pick-up some tile at the Tempe location. Wow! What a difference in costumer service. I could not believe it was the same company. When I walked in I was immediately greeted by Leslie. She told me where to go to pick-up my tile that I had already ordered. I needed to get a different tile for yet another project so I proceeded to pick that up from the shelf. Almost right away, Ray came along and loaded everything I needed into a cart. He checked me out right there and I just had to pay Leslie at the cash register. I pulled my car around to the loading area and a few minutes later Nathaniel and Reid were ready with both orders and loaded my car. I'm shocked at what great customer service all these employees provided me. Thank you! Thank you to Mike and Sean, Service desk Pro for finding our tile. We went to another Floor and Decor and the tile we wanted was back ordered and the other store only checked AZ stores for tile. Nothing showed up on their end. So we had to choose another tile, which we weren't thrilled with but would hAve used. Decided to go look again at the Priest store and we're just about to leave disappointed. When Mike stopped us and we told him our situation, and he said, let's go talk to Sean and see if he could find some. He checked online, called som people to make sure and then confirmed, nothing in AZ. He suggested trying out of state, but we would have pay delivery fee. We said go for it. He found enough tile in Sacramento. We were ecstatic to say the least. We are paying a little more for delivery, but in the end we got the tile we wanted. Thank you gentleman for going above and beyond to help us. This did not happen at the other store at all. read more
