Do not purchase floor and decor's LVP. I wish I had seen all of their comments from clients after two years of installation before I went with this particular product. There's cracking issues and locking mechanism issues that I've now seen other reviews about that, I had no idea about until now. After filing a warranty claim about this particular product that's at floor and decor "NuCore Performance BUTTER TOAST WATERPROOF RIGID CORE LUXURY VINYL PLANK" which markets their product with a "lifetime" warranty for residential is actually not a lifetime warranty and they're denying my claim and offering me a measly gift card for one of the planks that was determined to be defective but once they found out several other planks are starting to have issues. They're not willing to cover any of the others related to any of the other planks that are experiencing locking mechanism issues. If you ever have any warranty issues with floor and decor, please make sure that you hire a third-party and have any extra material or planks you have sent to an independent lab for testing because they actually limit what their "third-party" tester can test for and refuse to do independent plank testing. read more

I highly recommend going to Floor and Decor before any home improvement projects. We used F&D tiles for our downstairs. They recommended using Ocotillo Flooring for the labor, and we purchased all the materials. Jeannie, their in-house designer at the Tempe location, helped us with tile and color suggestions, and she also helped us with additional items needed to complete our job. This saved us much money. Yesterday, we returned to F&D to get ideas for our primary bathroom. Romeo helped us with selecting our samples to show our contractor. Romeo was so knowledgeable and friendly. I was introduced to floor and Decor, by one of my tile setters. I never realized how awesome This store is, they really have such a broad selection! On my sixth or seventh visit, I was approached upon entering the store by a very friendly person named Kat. Kat is a store Manager who immediately started assisting me with my needs! She promptly checked me in so I could get my pick up order started and even helped me get a return done. Kat also refreshed me on how to properly utilize my pro rewards account so that I can reap the rewards down the road as my points stack up. In a time where customer service in general seems to be decreasing in quality-It's so refreshing to meet people like Kat, who care about their job, have a good attitude, and make you feel like you matter, even when you're there for menial tasks such as a return and a small pick up order of 4 boxes of tile. Our contractor recommended two other tile companies. After looking at those we went to Floor & Decor. They had a better selection and better pricin. End result was great. We had some left over tile. When we took back Romeo came out, unloaded it from our ca, took it in and helped us with the retur. Highly recommen. read more

Bought $5000 worth of flooring and was told it had transition and stair pieces to match so I ordered those. I was told they would take 7-10 days. 35 days later i finally received the transition pieces and they are garbage. They do not match the flooring. They are cheaply made and not the same material. The customer service has been terrible. I asked them to call the company when the product was late and they said they couldnt make a call but they could email. Floor & Decor Tempe does not show an interest in helping their customers. read more

We renovated our master bath and surely visited this place at least 10 times. Yikes! We found it useful for deciding on tile, accent tile, Schluter edges, sinks, etc! They have quite the variety here. I will say that although we did go with AZ tile for our tile needs (they had an *even* greater 24in x 48in tile variety), I found navigating F&D and all the staff very helpful in planning the project, especially the young gal at the design table. Returns are easy: all your purchases are tied to your name so you don't need to bring in your receipts for returns or exchanges. read more

I love this store. It was great for remodeling my bathrooms. Plenty of good products and decent prices. Displays also give you a good idea. Staff are friendly and knowledgeable about products. They have a generous return policy. Online order precovid was great. Update on online ordering. Pickup sucks. I waited 25 minutes to pick 2 containers of caulk. Previously this would have been a breeze. Now you have to text or call when you get there. Ok doesnt seem bad...then i waited 20 minutes in my car for 2 things of caulk. Had to call again and was told there was complications. What ??? Ridiculous its 98 degrees in my car. It cost my $$$ to run my my a/c. I could of just came in the store and purchased the damn caulk. So annoyed. Another 5 minutes...they called because expected me to be at back of store. No instructions given the first time...the second time. Get better about this new system. Customer service provided by Michelle sucked!!! Previously spent close to 1k on material here to redo my bathrooms and my floors. Caulk only cost $15 bucks but damn...Waste of my time. Drove from the east valley to this location to see if there were more styles to choose from with my upcoming floor replacement. It seemed like this location either has a better layout or more option but I found my desired floor out of 3 different samples. The style wanted was out of stock and the cashier attempted to help find out if there was some more coming but she wasn't able to see anything ordered as I would need over 50 boxes to cover my project. Guess ordering online might be the route? I hope they don't change the price and/or honor it if the price goes up while I work with my contractor to schedule the project kickoff. read more

I was in the store the other day to pick out tile for my bathroom floor and shower. Since this was a project that was new for me I was a little bit lost. WOW, did he ever open up a whole new world for me; he explained about small tiles versus large tiles on the walls of my yet to be created walk in shower, Educated me on floor tiles, and the various myths people are stuck on. How to spunk up the look with a beautiful colored grout. I am just blown away about his knowledge and design ideas, which now means that I will be over there, and hopefully he is there as well, to start figuring out which tile for the wall and which for the floor. I have ordered and bought many times at Floor & Decor throughout the years, and never had an issue. I ordered the wrong tile and needed to get it returned for a refund. Not having luck on the phone, we went to the local store and spoke with Marcus, the manager. He understood quickly what the issue was, and knew how to get it corrected. Marcus brought us to Jessica in receiving, where both expedited the pickup of the unwanted tile. The story ended in a successful conclusion and would like to personally thank Marcus and Jessica for going above and beyond to get the return completed, and my refund issued. THANK YOU!!! read more

UHHHGGGG!!! I don't know anything about the Tempe store, this was about the DESPICABLE MESA/HAMPTON LOCATION! BUT I REFUSE to take it down because it won't let me copy and paste it to that location and people NEED TO KNOW TO AVOID RYAN AT ALL COSTS! The Tempe location has an excellent variety of products for walls, floors, etc. I made an appointment for design services because I'm not that great with interior design and had difficulty choosing colors, type of tiles etc.. Every time I have gone to this location the staff has been extremely helpful. Most recently, Paul went above and beyond to help me find a product that another location wouldn't sell to me because it was still in the crate and not on the floor. When Paul found the product, it was also in the crate at his store, but he took the time to open it up and made sure I even got the piece of marble I liked best. Went in to buy my tile for my floors. Had two very nice associates help me and reassured me that everything would run smoothly and no trouble... They use a third party delivery who wouldn't deliver to our house because you have to drive down a dirt road- said we are too rural. I live in the middle of Chandler. Only option pick it up myself. Came to get it today they are saying there's 50-60 pallets In front of our tile and they couldn't get to it and said night crew could possibly. Possibly? They did say we could have one pallet from sales floor that matches other pallets in the back that we are waiting on. We've been sitting out in our truck for 45 mins in over 102° and having to run our truck (diesel is over $5a gallon) I've paid for this already and this should've been any easy pickup. Management was rude and didn't offer any solutions. I highly recommend this place for small projects only. The back lot where you pick up is a dumping ground and trash everywhere. See picture. Not to mention the docking area hasn't been cleaned up for quite some time. I'll update when I finally receive my tile. I'm worried now I should've went with another tile and company. read more

We had a great experience at Floor and Decor in Tempe, AZ. It started off a bit stressful, since we were not exactly sure what we wanted and there are so many choices. Then we were lucky enough to run into a Sales Associate named Romeo. Romeo was extremely helpful, asked all of the right questions, was very patient as my wife and I changed ideas and styles several times while in the store. Romeo is a retired flooring installer, so he knows what will physically work and made several recommendations as to "What works and what doesn't work" and he has a Great eye for what goes together. Avoid this location. Go to the Mesa location. I placed an online order on Wednesday later afternoon. I call Thursday afternoon and was told it's not ready because they only have 1 driver. I said ok, I'll call back tomorrow. The Floor and Decor rep, Jessica said no problem, we will pull the order overnight. So Friday I call and was told I can just show up and wait in line and then they will pull the order. The whole point of online ordering is so I don't have to wait for hours to put my order together as I was picking up over 1000 tiles. I call up corporate and they were furious too because that is not how they do business. Corporate calls up Tempe store and got the same attitude from Jessica. Eventually the Tempe store rep said she would put the order together. It's Sunday and still the order is being prepped. So much for order by 2pm and have it ready that day. Luckily I told my situation to the Mesa store and they acknowledged the Tempe store has issues. The Mesa store even put my order together within the hour and even though it's further away from where I live, I got my tiles. I would avoid this location at all costs. read more

My wife and I were very pleased with the great selection of tile and stone. We even got the help of one of the reps who showed us multiple renderings of the few stones we considered. Once we made up our mind, they were just as easy to deal with. 10/10 would recommend and will go here again when we need to find more tile or stone.
