If you are looking for ordinary beige or white tile this is the store for you. They have many varieties of non descript tile. There is also a fair amount of trendy flooring and wall tiles. Although the staff is friendly they seem to be a bit unorganized at the registers. The pricing seems on point with any other tile store. They have nice vignettes for displaying the tile but they are limited. read more

do not order tile samples especially mosaics . I paid for mosaic samples and was sent 3" samples from which you could not see the pattern of the mosaic. they do not tell you how small the samples are when you order on the website. save your money! read more

Very Disappointed. I bought around 2000sq/ft of porcelain tile and Mapei UltraFlex-2 White Mortar"thinset" after 6 months lots of tiles are coming out, the tiles are separating clean from the Mapei UltraFlex-2 White Mortar so my logical conclusion is that Mapei UltraFlex-2 White Mortar is a inferior product. I've done tile for over 15 years and I used mostly Home Depot cheap mortar thinset, but because this was my house I decided to use a more expensive product, expecting it to be better, not worse then cheap Home Depot mortar. This never happened in the 15 years that I installed tiles. I will never go back to Floor & Decor and I'll advise all my customers to stay away. read more

I can't believe how bad this company is and I am so disappointed. They have some lovely looking tile online. I have been trying for 2 weeks to order samples but no matter how many times I enter the information and how many cards I try, the website just keeps coming back to the start of the order process. I tried reaching out via email and got a case number but no response in over a week. I then tried a chat, but no-one was available. I then tried calling the 877 number and have been on hold (we are currently experiencing unusually high call volumes...) for over 40 minutes. I have given up and will look elsewhere. I think maybe they went out of business? Really very disgraceful customer service. read more

When I first found F&D a few months ago, it was great. I would've given it 5 stars. However, I am writing this now with frustration at a store like this not being able to handle it's good fortunes. The last few times the Paramus store has been under-staffed or ill-staffed. Last night I visited the store to purchase items that their online site said was in stock. Unfortunately, I couldn't find it and the one sales associate that I asked who was trying to help others said it's not his dept and he doesn't know about it, but to look for the guy with an afro to help me. I didn't see him. Lots of the regular staff seem to be college kids, perhaps high school? so I understand their lack of knowledge. This puts the blame squarely on F&D for not making their staff better. Also the last two times I was there, there was only one or two registers open creating a bit of a wait to check out. I ended up not buying anything since I couldn't find my main items, but I thought maybe I can order it online for same day pickup tomorrow. Their site says if you order before 2pm, it'll be same day pickup. I did so and nothing. I called the Paramus store to inquire and the phone just kept ringing. After a couple of more tries, I decided to call the Wayne store to ask about the same day pickup. To their credit, someone picked up right away. She said that it's next day pickup if it's ordered before 2pm. I brought up that the site says same days pickup if ordered before 2pm and she said the usual is if there is someone available, it will be next day. I decided to quit while I was ahead with next day "if" someone was available to do it. In the end, this is a somewhat unique store with their materials and how their presented, but that may be where it might end with people like me looking and buying somewhere else since I can't seem to buy what I want from F&D. It'll be interesting how Paramus F&D will maneuver their shortcomings to sell to people who actually want to buy instead of turning them off like me. The Wayne store is a little bit further, but I think I'll try there for F&D items from now on. I hope Wayne is managed better. read more

I went to Floor and Decor with my wife a little over a month ago. We were looking for tile to re-do our kitchen. After going to almost every tile store in the area we finally decided to buy our supplies at F&D. I went into the store and was helped by Sergio 3.0. He was extremely helpful in picking out a color(it was between 2) and loading the tile out of the store and into my car. He also got me the correct thinset for my application. All in all a really great buying experience. When my project was finished I brought the leftover tile back and Lisa helped me out. Again, a service oriented attitude all around even going the extra mile to make sure I was completely satisfied with everything from the store. We are now looking at counter tops and will possibly giving F&D our business yet again. Selection is a bit limited but the prices are great. Here's to hoping for another great experience. read more

I am currently building my dream home and found my dream designer at Floor and Decor - Stephanie She helped me design 12 different locations with patience and a calamity that made it seem too easy. She walked the store with me so many times and assured me everything would be fine. She never was annoyed with all the changes I made and made 3 different long (time) appointments seem like I was there for 30 minutes. What made it even more special was when she made me promise to send her pictures when complete. That extra touch was so appreciated. This is a home decorators happy place (at least one of them). I came here about a year ago and purchased floors for my basement and it was a great experience. We took samples and bought the one we liked best and any extra boxes were graciously accepted without an issue. We purchased waterproof and scratch proof floors since it was the basement level and we couldn't be happier with our choice. They don't actually do the installation which I think is a lost opportunity but they do have a third-party who does the work and offer you their card. I went back today for a new project and was torn between a tile and continuing my hardwood floors and Reggie, Chris and Deco Daver were very helpful in helping us decide. We went through several options and even as the store was closing and his manager was asking him in the back to "let him know when we were gone," he continued to help us and explain our options. Great customer service from him. We told him we would be back to get the floors once we complete measurements. I would definitely recommend as they have several options at various price ranges. read more

When I walked into the store, I feel in love with all their flooring and tiling. They have nice stuff.. but not enough staff. We had to wait at least 20 minutes to get help. I was very upset with the outcome of this purchase. I bought 15 boxes of wood floor for my new house and at least 3 full boxes had cracked wood. This completely ruined our process of getting our floor installed. We had to go through every single box to make sure the wood was in good condition to be installed. So ridiculous! I was going to come back here for tiles for bathrooms.... definitely not after this experience. read more

I went in a few days ago to inquire about changing my bathroom tile. I had no idea where to begin and was just looking for some direction. Antonio was the gentleman who helped me and it went great. He really knows his stuff he helped me with the color scheme and we even discussed grout which is something I completely forgot about. While the staff at the Gaithersburg MD store that helped us pick the tiles was very helpful, the nightmare begun once we had paid for our order. It is impossible to communicate with the store. Called 10 times, nobody picks up the phone. When they do, they put you on hold and leave you hanging forever until the call drops. Was told my order was ready for pick up. when my contractor showed up, they said one product was missing and that we had to go in person to get a refund before he could take the other products. then i received an email message saying order was ready to be picked up but it has been impossible to confirm by phone or email or any other way whether indeed order is ready and not waste my contractors time again. WHY DO THEY LEAVE A NUMBER TO CALL AND HAVE NOBODY PICKING UP THE PHONE? Frustrating. read more

We are remodeling 3 bathrooms. Scheduled an appointment with a designer at the Paramus store named Stefanie C. She was so incredibly helpful and very knowledgeable. My wife and a met with her 3 times. Each time refining our decisions since we have different tastes. Stefanie never pressured us to make a decision or pushed us to buy a particular item. Instead she made useful suggestions and presented options for us to think about offering her opinion when asked. She helped us come up with the right chooses for us. I would recommend the store and particularly Stefanie to anyone. read more

I came to floor and decor on the recommendation from my parents who just purchased a good amount of tile and flooring for a renovation project. They claimed to have had an amazing customer service experience so I was excited to go there and purchase luxury vinyl plank flooring for my own renovation project. I was unpleasantly surprised when I could not find an associate willing to help. I went up to the return counter and asked for someone to assist me with my flooring needs. The woman reluctantly came to help. She basically walked me over to the vinyl flooring and said "this is it". Having my own base knowledge on what I was looking for, I started to ask her questions hoping to prompt her into making a sale, or even just having a conversation about what they offer...not so much. She had little to no experience and clearly couldn't care if I made a purchase there or not. Certainly disappointed and wouldn't spend a dime there at this point. I will happily go purchase my flooring someplace where the people actually care about the customer. read more

I bought tiles for 2 bathrooms. I will review in two parts - products and sales/returns. The products are in general very good quality as long as you stick to the higher rated ones. The only exception is one I selected for the shower area where the water drops dry leaving a mark. I didn't have the problem with my previous tiles. Avoid low PEI ones. The sales needs lot of improvements. I returned what was about $80 of tiles but got only $50 back. They said my order doesn't show up in their system despite showing them the online receipt. I went twice thinking it maybe a temp issue but then finally took what they offered as I didn't want to waste time and the tiles were just lying in my garage. But now I am stuck with their store card which I hope is valid till my next reno. I took off 2 stars because they don't honor their refund policy. read more

My wife and I went to the Paramus store to purchase subway tile for a kitchen backsplash. Rich was very helpful and knowledgeable and went above and beyond to help us so that we got the correct grout as well. He also explained the variations in the color of the tile we purchased (which looked different than what was on display). We also purchased a floating floor for the kitchen and the other staff were helpful too. read more

Great store with an excellent and fairly priced selection of materials and very helpful in store staff. Very socially distanced and clean right now! Much nicer experience than going to Home Depot or Lowes. But... don't get anything shipped to your home or to the store from Floor and Decor - I've never seen such extortionate shipping rates. On an order of vinyl flooring for a 1800 square foot house the rates were over seven hundred dollars to be curbside shipped to home or three hundred to be shipped to store. We are still using them as found some unusually nice color and quality (and cheap) wood composite vinyl planks there and will just go to several stores to pick up. read more

The Paramus store had contacted me after I posted a complaint. They told me they would get ahold of their main store and that someone would be contacting me shortly. I haven't heard a word and this was two weeks ago. If you deal with floor and decor make sure you don't need installers. Get your own in house installers. I do not recommend this company. read more

I have availed for their Bungii delivery service which is a third party delivery service and no one to this point is assisting me to deliver the vanities I have purchased on 8/15/22. All I see in my texts are apologies. Not accepted. I requested delivery next day. Then it was not delivered. I waited and followed up and Floor and Decor apologized in behalf of Bungii that it was not delivered on time. They made arrangements to be delivered on 8/20/22. Then Bungii cancelled as they were no available drivers as my order required 2 persons. Then All I get is a cancellation message from Bungii Support. Delivery rescheduled for Sunday, 8/21/22. I clarified with Bungii if Floor and Decor is open on Sunday and confirmed that they are open on limited hours on Sunday. So I had great hopes. I should have known better. Then today, I got an early text that the drivers were on their way to Floor and Decor to pick up vanity. Then ooopppsss, after an hour, I got a cancellation notice from Bungii saying that Floor and Decor is closed! I can't believe the run around. Bungii Support texted me saying that for the vanity to be delivered, I have to contact Floor and Decor . I have sent a message to Floor and Decor but it's a virtual assistant and stated they have to get back with me in 48 hours. I have scheduled a one day bath remodel and due for 8/22/22 and still, to date, the vanity is not delivered. Floor and Decor should inform customers if delivery is not feasible to anticipated date of project. Their third party keeps scheduling delivery and keeps apologizing for the cancellation but can't do anything. This is totally insane. Never use Bungii Service. Since they cancelled delivery on me 3 times and have to cancel my appointments to receive anticipated deliveries, for me , Bungii is not a delivery service. It is a Cancellation service. read more

Best place to buy hardwood floor!! Sales person, Chris Bryant, helped me a lot to find the right hardwood floor. He is knowledgeable and professional. I was looking for hardwood floors for a while and visited at Home Depot, Lowes, and Lumbar Liquidators but I couldn't find the right one for me in terms of price and quality. Once I visited Floor and Decor in Paramus, NJ, I found the right hardwood floor for me that satisfied me with the price and quality. I chose Brazilian Cherry solid hardwood floor at $5.79 per sq. ft.. Since the store had the stock, they could deliver it without any waiting time. Floor and Decor is the only store where they have stocks at local store. All other stores don't have stocks at the local store so that the delivery time takes from 2 weeks to 3 weeks. Floor & Decor's sale persons are very friendly and helpful. The most important part is that the price and the quality of the hardwood floor of Floor and Decor are the best. Chris also told me that they would match the price in case I would find the better price at any other stores. I strongly recommend Floor and Decor to anyone who is looking for hardwood floor. read more
