I purchased the Eviva Happy white vanity and sink combo online from Decors US on 9/28/23. I am…read moreunclear if that is the headquarters of the actual Eviva company or just a showroom. Decors US used to be in Paramus NJ, but is currently only in Monroe NJ. I emailed them on 10/5 to inquire on an ETA and they said it would be delivered on 10/6 but if I'd not emailed, I guess it would've just shown up. I had no shipping/tracking info/email. We received our vanity/countertop/sink on 10/6/23 so it took a little over a week. The directions say to affix the sink to the marble countertop with plumbing glue & the provided clamps and to allow 48 hours to dry/set. That adds two days to your install. We did that. On Sunday,10/8, we were ready to affix the countertop/sink to the vanity unit and place it atop the vanity where it fits in. Once we did that, the top right drawer would not close. Either the sink was too large or the side of the wooden drawer was too high. It seemed logical that we had the wrong sink. I started Googling everywhere this unit was sold for the specs to see if there was a measurement for the sink. Only one site had a measurement for the sink at 15x11. The box our sink came in said 16x11 and we measured it, so we were convinced we had the wrong sink. My husband called the number for Decors US to see if they were possibly open while I emailed Eviva to start a dialogue there as to what we should do. A guy answered the phone for Decors US. At the same time, I also got a quick email response from Eviva. After taking numerous photos/video to illustrate the problem and explaining to both Eviva and Decors US what was going on with a lot of back and forth, it was decided that we would be shipped a new countertop and sink with a possible ship and delivery of either 10/12-10/13. This left us without a sink or water in our main bathroom since 9/29, since this was a somewhat emergency situation. Taking that long to get a new sink/countertop was not ideal since we knew were going to need another 48 hours to glue and set the sink to the countertop. That left us without a sink/water for two weeks, assuming we could do the install on 10/15. The sink and countertop arrived on 10/13 and we knew as soon as the new sink came, it wasn't going to fit. The style number on the box though was slightly different than the original one we had so we decided to take the new one, thinking maybe somehow it was smaller. We had a hard time trying to compare the new one to the one we had because the one we had was already affixed to the countertop. Decors US/Eviva insisted on taking back the one we already had so we had no choice but to give that one to the delivery guy and take a chance on the new one. We clamped the new one and we placed it on the vanity to see if there was any difference. The drawer still wouldn't close once the sink was in place. The only way to make this work is to cut the one side of the drawer down. You would need to be extremely skilled to do this because the vanity comes assembled & the drawer is not removable. One would have to do this repair with great precision because it has to be done while the drawer is still in it's spot. You can't just trace the line of where it needs to be cut and take the drawer out to do it. We ended up having to take the whole track off. This item has a price range from different retailers online from approx $835-$1500. It was around $748 on Amazon Prime Day on 10/10/23 but that's the lowest I've seen it and we'd already purchased it higher 2 days prior. That's an expensive item to have to saw/sand drawers down when it was admitted by Eviva, that it was somehow a manufacturer error. Most people would have just returned the whole vanity & gotten a full refund but we were pressed for time/space. I was willing to take a partial refund, but it should have been a substantial refund, like 50% off. They first offered me $50 and when I said that was unacceptable, they offered me $150 and wouldn't budge from that. I finally just accepted the $150 because they refused to go any higher. I would never purchase from Decors US/Eviva after this experience. There were many ways Decors US/Eviva could've rectified this situation in a better way. We let them know on 10/8 about this problem. They could've gone in their warehouse/showroom and taken the same sink/countertop they sent us, clamped it & tried it in a same size vanity. If it didn't work they'd have known they had an error, or if it did, sent a whole new unit next day, sent us a new drawer or refunded half my money and called it a day. Instead, I have a trail of approx 25 emails back and forth, arguing, an insulting monetary offer, etc, and a vanity that still had to be modified by us. Luckily, for us, we are proficient in this kind of work. Whoever is sending the emails uses very positive language, telling you to have a wonderful day, but if and when you have a legit issue with their product, they do NOT stand behind their products.

We purchased two vanities, two mirrors, our bathroom hardware, kitchen backsplash tile, kitchen cabinet handles, and kitchen faucet from Mo and his team. It's not a huge store, so they didn't have some items in stock, but this was true for bigger chains as well, so my husband and I didn't mind the waiting so much as they did their best to get us the items quickly. Mo worked with us on pricing and our budget and was always friendly and helpful. When my contractor accidentally used the wrong handle on my of our drawers causing us to be short a handle, I visited Decors and they were awesome enough to give me their one and only handle they had in the store on display instead of having me wait for the handle in the mail. The only downside to Decors is that they charge $100 for delivery (lucky for me, my contractor was willing to pick up the items) and, also, they don't always call when they say they will. They are always busy though, so if you're willing to follow up with them and have patience, they will definitely treat you well!

We purchased floor tiles and backsplash tiles. When the time came to pick up the floor tiles at the warehouse we were given the wrong tiles. We noticed once we got home and opened the boxes. When we called, they said the warehouse was closing in 30 mins, that we had to wait until Monday and we were alright with that. We just asked that they confirm the correct ones were in stock and they reassured us. Come Monday when we got to the warehouse and took the sample we had with us, they said it was an old tile and that they no longer had it. They gave us a sample of a different tile to take home. We chose to go with that tile and when we went to the warehouse the third time - we were once again given the wrong one. The same wrong ones we were given the first time. They didn't have the tiles of the 2nd sample they had given us either. In the end we decided to just stay with that one. We then decided to return the backsplash tiles and were told there was a 25% restocking fee - when prior to purchasing everything we were always told we could return anything we didn't use without any mention of a fee. When we came to the store and tried to explain all the difficulties we experienced the manager/owner, Anthony, came out, cut us off, and said the fee was non-negotiable, take it or leave it. In the end the salesman who worked with us from the start, Manny, took care of us. But it was overall a very unpleasant experience. Just think twice maybe thrice before purchasing anything here. It seems like they make up prices for items that they don't even have labeled nor are they aware of what is or isn't in stock in their warehouse. The service is very poor and Anthony is uncompromising and very disrespectful. I honestly felt as women they treated us differently, but I haven't personally seen how they treat men.

"XYZ" Company, promised the stars and the moon back then- but a week+ job turned into almost a month. We turned a new page and are presently working with an excellent, all-inclusive bathroom contractor who takes care of everything that has to do with renovating our bathroom. Our new contractor had to rip and gut out all of the original contractor's work. Mind you, he and his men are indeed professionals, they pinpointed all the disaster done by that a**hole. Our new contractor provided my husband with a written contract, detailing step by step work to be done and prices to match for our bath. Not to mention, our contractor works closely with Quality Tile. Hubby and I, have been eyeing an on-trend bathroom design from the get-go. So when I came to Quality Tile, it was a matter of selecting shower tiles and floor preferences also. And by the way- quality and prices are great. Both my visits with one of their employees- Peter, was fantastic. He took his time and most of all- was patient as I tried to wrap my head around tile size and style. While on the subject, if you want the best results, stop by. I like doing my sh*t face to face and avoid phone calls as much as possible. But I do understand it may not be easy for folks to come here, but you'll obviously get a better glimpse of tiles up close when you're ready to purchase! So why am I posting all this info here? Because that a**hole doesn't have a Yelp page- nor will I create one for him and primarily alert other homeowners to keep all eyes if you're sensing something's way off with your contractor. Maybe I'm being a bit too eager without our bathroom being finished yet- but our new guys are keeping us in the loop every single step of the way. Hubby and I are really into these guys and their professionalism! And they're bringing it twice-fold!! Listen- for the sake of my safety and my home- I thought about mentioning "XYZ's" name and company's name here and just bring him down. But you know what...I won't. Because karma is gonna get his ass real good! These guys at Quality Tile, have a nice selection of Shower and Bathroom floor Tiles- including backsplashes. The drawers on the big one are misaligned. They even installed top drawers in the exact spot where the sinks go, even though we bought the sinks and tops from them at the same time. Our contractor had to tear the drawers apart and reattach the fronts just to make the vanities usable. What is also interesting, when we ordered it, the salesperson did hand-drawing of the big vanity. This drawing is probably the only blueprint that was used during manufacturing. The paint on the edges is already wearing off. There are a couple of places where the primer is showing through. And the vanities we received look somewhat different from the showroom models, which had tight, clean gaps, not the big, uneven ones we got. We even stopped by the store to show them the issues. The person who took our order said she would send someone to our home to look at the problems. We never heard from her again. To be fair, the countertops are exceptionally good. But as we understand it, they are manufactured and installed by a different company that Paramus Kitchen & Bath subcontracts. After vanities were installed, they came to our home, took all the measurements, then in a few days they came again and installed countertops. Top quality. Out of our entire renovation, buying from Paramus Kitchen & Bath was the biggest mistake we made.

When I asked to confirm how many "boards" I ordered, she gave me the number of "studs". I am sorry "boards, not "studs". Her response was and I quote " a 2x4 is a board. It is a piece of wood, so it is a board". I asked her what do you call a 4 x 8 piece of sheetrock. Really? This is your challenging response at 8am. I do everything to support the few small local businesses eft. It's unappreciative attitudes like this that make it hard. Maybe I should have walked across the street to the big store.
