We came here for my birthday drinks and let me say it was not a wow experience. I had heard online this was a great place for drinks with a great view. The view was nothing to rave about especially since we were surrounded by taller buildings. The staff were not excited about their jobs or serving. Our check was brought to us without even asking if we wanted a second round. It was not busy at all either. The drinks weren't bad but nothing very specialty for a place that's not a restaurant. We saw a taller building near and decided to try the restaurant on the top. Spectacular and great service. Go to compass Arizona at the top of the Hyatt instead. I don't think I have EVER had an alcoholic drink I CANNOT drink. This place serves the worst drinks and food. I can make better food in my easy bake oven. Expensive for no reason. I will say- the vibes are fun, everything is decorated nicely with Xmas decor and they did give us blankets to use while sitting outside during the cold weather. The service was okay. Mediocre at best. We had a party of 10 and not one person could finish their drink. Might I add- we tried every single item on their holiday menu. Definitely eat and drink before you go. Sadly, this was a big let down. The drinks had too many flavors meshed together. Mine kind of tasted how a candle smells. And the food was meh for the price. But the worst part was they were out of the s'mores kits!! How??? Such a let down. Service was extremely slow and unenthusiastic. And on top of that they add an automatic 18% gratuity then bring a receipt that's asks you to tip on top of that. That said the decor was pretty. Music randomly cut out at one point then blasted back to life suddenly. We mostly just sat there wondering when someone would come check on us. Definitely would not return. read more

This place is awesome. Beautiful views of the city and on a cool night, they got you covered with heat lamps. Try pork tacos, come in 3 but they're pretty small. I love them and ordered more. Best part of the experience was my server Mishel. Her suggestions on the menu and knowledge of the drinks were epic. Mishel was also very attentive to all her customers and always came to check on me with a smile. Will be back because of staff, food and awesome views. read more

I really want to give this place a higher rating, but after watching three separate people walk out based on service times, I had to. I went to Floor 13 tonight, and was immediately told about my 90 minute time restriction. It's unusual but I'll tolerate it...until it takes 25 minutes to get ONE DRINK. The drinks took FOREVER, the food came fast but it was obvious that it was premade and warmed for when ordered. I asked for the bruschetta with no cheese and was told "oh it's a premade mix" The drinks were spectacular, but took nearly 30 minutes to come out I actually observed one patron walk out and the bartender argue with them. Not the best look. The bartender seemed to care more about friendships than making drinks as he chatted the night away with the wait staff. I don't normally address wait staff by name, but Hannah pretty evidently avoided my table, and only asked if we needed anything once (maybe twice?) For whatever her reason was. Overall a disappointing experience. Also want to point out I saw the hostess turn away COUNTLESS groups with no reservation, but made an exception for a random party of two with no reservation?! Not sure whose managing this place, but it's poorly run establishment. read more

Really disappointing experience. I've been staying at Hitons for a long time and was really excited there was a roof top bar. Showed up at 920pm and they shut me and others down staying last call was at 930pm (closes at 1000). We stated we had 10 minutes and with anguish on her face, the hostess (I think) said "have a seat". At 950 I still didn't have a drink and with only 10 people present, it wasn't busy at all. I canceled the order and left empty handed. Speaking to security and two other employees downstairs they all said there are constant complaints, especially with the staff that was there tonight ( Wednesday). Another customer at the bar in the lobby (which is great) had the same experience. Sad! I've always had a great time at every Hilton - this place doesn't meet thier high bar! read more

Visiting Phoenix, our Hilton Garden Inn hotel has a nice rooftop bar (open 5:00 pm - 1:00 am, I think). It had surprisingly good food (Tacos Al Pastor were amazing)! Reservations are required for the choice seating areas with views, but service was fast and friendly. For such a small bar, the bartender (Alyssa) was exceptionally talented and efficient. I would enjoy stopping here again. read more

This review is for Miracle at Floor 13. We've been to Miracle pop up bars all over the country and so we know exactly what to expect. Floor 13 missed the mark almost entirely. The decor was severely lacking, there was maybe one strand of lights across the top of the ceiling outside. We had a 9pm reservation and weren't sat until 9:20. The bar was incredibly understaffed so the service was very poor. Very disappointing. Our server gave us the wrong bill with someone else's cc in it. Granted she was waiting on the whole rooftop alone so... Also Miracle has raised the prices of their cocktails from $12-$14 each to $18 each. Would absolutely not recommend. read more

This was our first stop for our night out on the town. We got out later than we wanted, but I booked an 8:45 reservation. Upon arrival at 8:35 I checked in and was told there is a 90 minute restriction on how long you can have the table. This wasn't an issue as we were only planning to get a drink or two and be on our way. The host also so that it might be awhile until we get a table as there are three groups in front of us to get a table. I thought it weird since the groups in front of us all had 8:30 reservations which meant there was no way we were going to get seated anywhere near our reservation time. The waiting area is by the bar right outside the elevator, so really not a good spot to stand. I saw two groups walk out without ever getting a drink and loads of people got turned away. We waited until about 9:05 to get our table. The views were cool, drinks were ok. It was good to do once, but probably won't go back again. read more

It has a very casual atmosphere and there weren't many other people there aside from us. But the drink was good, and the views were awesome! They have misters so it's not terrible on a hot Phoenix summer night! It's definitely worth checking out, and is a cool little spot on the rooftop! It took about 15 minutes for someone to take our order. We asked if we could make a drink virgin for our DD and they told us their drinks were pre made so they couldn't. The server did suggest a non alcoholic drink. They told us they'd bring us water while we wait for our drinks, which they never did. Waited another 15 minutes for our drinks. They were okay. We had to flag someone down for our check and when they picked up our cars, they brought one water for a table of 3. Floor 13 is located on the thirteenth floor at the Hilton Garden Inn in downtown Phoenix (also home to Nook kitchen). It is a rooftop sundeck area with a bar that overlooks the Phoenix Skyline. It's not a very large space, but it does have plenty of comfy seats and couches to relax on. The skyline is beautiful when the sun goes down. You even get a nice view of the neighboring Renaissance Phoenix and their sundeck below. Floor 13 is a beautiful space that offers various types of drinks and small bites. The building itself was featured in the thriller "Psycho" which is why this bar is named Floor 13. I've been here a couple times including a fun going away party for a friend. They serve up a variety of mixed cocktails including a Prickly Pear martini and my personal favorite - an Old Fashioned. Floor 13 Rooftop Bar has live music on some evenings and can be rented out for special events. read more

Hold on tight on the elevator since your going up to one of the highest bar I had ever been to. This is the perfect rooftop to admire our beautiful city with a fancy cocktail. And this building has so much history that it was a must to go check it out. I really recommend bringing people that are out of town to really give them a good feel of DTPX. The space is small so I don't recommend coming in with a large group. Small space but views up there are endless. The bartenders really take their time making each cocktail.Service was phenomenal! Last night I had dined here with my family and friends based off of a family members recommendation. First, the view was gorgeous and everything was clean and spaced out. But as soon as we arrived and ordered with the bartender, we had nothing but issues throughout our whole experience with her as well as other customers around us. Our bills were rung up wrong with no happy hour pricing, drink orders were duplicated, food orders added to the wrong bill, requests or questions (such as salt on a rim, fruit flavoring added to a martini and questions about drinks) were not honored or able to be answered. When these issues were brought up to the bar tender, she became flustered and rude and were told that it would be taken care of afterwards. The same issues happened to others as well which were returned with the same experience of rudeness and nothing being changed. One of our family members were even sent away and told to "figure it out by yourselves" when asked to adjust the bills correctly. There should have been another person behind the bar to help as the bartender last night seemed inexperienced. I'm willing to give this place another try, but not anytime soon. Thankfully Cornish Pasty was across the street and made the rest of the night better! read more

We came in for a drink at the Miracle Bar on a Monday night and left in a hurry. One star for the drinks, one star for the food, and one star for the bartender's effort. 0 for ambiance and 0 for COVID regulations. The good: we ordered olives that came with a few pieces of crunchy bread. The waiter informed us that it was much better with pita bread and brought some over. It was probably my favourite part of the night. The pita was warm, soft, and fluffy. It was an utter delight especially when soaked into the olive oil. The drinks are also always a highlight of the miracle bar. I got the snowball old fashioned which had toasty nutty Christmas bitters added. The bad: The hotel bar was ill prepared for the groups that were looking for a table that night. I wasn't annoyed by the wait at first because I appreciated that they were upholding social distancing. We waited our turn for an hour and found an empty table. After getting our drinks, it appeared that the hotel gave up on social distancing and allowed everybody else who was waiting to come up to the bar. The bar quickly became inundated with guests and we left in a hurry before we continued to get jostled. There was also only one bartender for a very busy bar. I get that it was a Monday but management should always have a back up. Miracle bar specific: this was the saddest miracle bar we've been to in downtown Phoenix. We came because of the patio, but there were substantially fewer decorations than any other Miracle bar. Im not trying to be a humbug about this and I do recognize this is 2020, but management should try harder when they charge $16 for a holiday drink at a holiday themed bar. We will not be returning to this Miracle Bar. read more
