I had a really bad experience working with Costco and their contractor Floform on my kitchen countertop project. Here is what happened. They came to do an estimate June 2021, and they collected full payment from me a few days after I signed the contract them. It took them two months (after they collected my full payment) before they came and do a tear-down in late August, 2021. After they tore down, it took them another month before they came back to do the installation. During that one month, I was not able to use my kitchen, kitchen sink at all. It was a big mess. Then here is list of things that they messed up. There are two cracks with the granite countertop, one is 6 inches, and the other one is 24 inches (please see the pictures). Costco is on the side of their contractors Floform and did not fix the issues. Also, worth to point out that they did not let you come and select the slabs as part of the process, but you will have to stuck with the cracked countertop which you didn't choose. Broke my kitchen cabinet doors (two doors). They denied that their contractors messed that up, then eventually proposed to give me $300 for the issues after I pointed them pictures of the cracks that didn't happen before the tear-up. Caused water leak when they installed the kitchen sink, and garbage disposal. They had an extra hole in the countertop next to the water faucet which I never requested or included as part of the agreement. On the measurement day, they Floform guy estimated only three brackets where needed for the countertop, but on the installation days the other Floform installers believed the three brackets were not enough to support the heavy countertop. They called back to their office and request three more. Floform then sent me about bill of additional $287 for the additional three brackets. Please note that the brackets were supposed to be included as part of the original estimate. Cooktop and counter vent (both of these were one month old/new and professionally installed by Bestbuy) are dislodged. When I complained they sent out the first 'manager' named Jason (from Floform), Jason denied it outright that it was caused by them. Time passed Costco and another manager from Floform came out. This time they both concluded that the issue was caused by them and they agreed to fix. It has been six months now and issues have not been addressed. Each time you need to set up something with them, it will be at least a few weeks to more than a month. They were inconsistent with their own words, and decisions as I pointed out above. Here they are again. Jason (Floform manager) denied they dislodge was caused by them, then their second manager came and admitted it was their fault and will fix it. They estimated three brackets were needed, then their own guys couldn't install the countertop because they didn't believe it was safe. They then demanded $287 for the extra brackets at first, then later agreed to add them for free (of course because that was included as part of the original estimate) They didn't believe the cabinet cracks were caused by them, then later offered me $300 to keep me quite Their plumber contractor was the one who pointed out the water leak issue and told me to put a pan under to collect the water, but later Costco came out and concluded that there was no leak during the 1.5 hour he was at my house. I lived in the house for over three years, it is impossible the leak pre-existed and that I either didn't notice or knew it but didn't have it fixed. I chose Costco because I thought Costco was going to be on the side of their customers, but I regretted that decision. Based on my experience with them, I wouldn't recommend neither Floform or Costco for your kitchen remodel work at all. This review is based on Flo Form as a fabricator and install company, not the Cambria quartz product they sell. Bottom line upfront: Flo Form is horrendous to work with and their quality in customer service, fabrication, and install is terrible. I'd highly recommend avoiding doing business with this unethical company. Detailed review: - Flo Form told me they were the sole fabricator for Cambria in the Seattle market. I called Cambria headquarters after having issues with Flo Form only to discover that this statement is not true. - I bought Cambria through Costco in 2018 who contracted directly with Flo Form but acted as the intermediary. I wanted the same Costco package so I called the number from my prior Costco receipt. They never disclosed that their contract with Costco had expired and pushed me direct without notifying me until after I had signed a contract (there were numerous benefits with the Costco deal). Flo Form's business practices are unethical, and their employees are grossly untrained. - Flo Form's customer service is solely focused on transactions, not people. Their employees follow processes rather than aiming to provide a good customer experience or even seeking to understand their customer's needs. There's little interest in understanding individual projects, rather their team simply focuses on turning jobs. - Due to that mentality, their estimates are inaccurate because they don't apply critical thinking practices to understand what your project requires before providing an estimate (because they clearly don't care). - Expect to receive emails, not phone calls. - Expect to call and email multiple times before receiving a response, even when you have a quality issue with install. - Expect to pay more than estimated, even if you're a repeat buyer requesting the same exact edging and thickness as in your prior job. I did and they apparently didn't look at the details of my prior 2018 job even after asking them to so my bid increased by 17% the day my template was completed. They also forgot to add sales tax in their first bid so I had to mail another check or they were going to charge me a credit card fee to pay by phone even though it was their mistake. - Their templater gave me poor advice so I ended up having to have my shower niches re-cut, as they didn't fit the job. Flow form was going to charge me for another template appointment and charge me to ship the pieces, so I ended up having to do my own measurements and drive to Kent to pick up the niches even though their templater had the error in judgment. - Their quality is terrible. My tile installer had to fix their poor cuts to make the job work, and I also have scrapes in the Cambria surface that I didn't notice until after the installers left. The installers also damaged my drywall. - Don't expect to get a personal experience or even decent service from Flo Form. It's a numbers based / transactional business that doesn't have the capacity or people talent and skills to successfully work with individual buyers. - Customer service quality is not a priority to Flo Form. In fact, my project coordinator quit in the middle of the job and no one called to tell me. I found out because I called after emailing multiple times (again) with no response. - I Would NOT recommend Flo Form as fabricator / installer, in fact I'm planning to share this experience with the BBB and have shared this review with Cambria since an ethically challenged company represents their brand. read more

The kitchen of my dreams was made possible thanks to Flo Form. The absolute BEST part was that they provided one-stop-shopping and provided us with all we needed to get the job done without having tons of different contractor in and out of our home. The did the tear down, prep and installation of my counter tops, back splash & sink. I had plenty of color options to choose from, though I didn't need them, since I knew exactly what I wanted! the seam in the corner is flawless and if I didn't know it were there, I wouldn't be able to find it. I had some minor grout issues that they had to come back and fix, which was to be expected, so all in all...a GREAT experience & I can wait to do my master suite next! read more

We decided to upgrade our kitchen and chose to go through Costco. Which they ended up using FloForm. I was super impressed with the customer service, they had someone out the next day to show samples. With out a question we signed right there to get things ordered. It was really expensive but we wanted an all in one shop. They swore about their customer service and if we ever had issues they're there to help. Fast forward to install day. These guys were not very professional, my husband watched them drop the sink from the truck and drag it on the ground into the house. The day after install we hooked up our brand new Kohler faucet. $450 faucet. I hated it. It didn't work right. I called floform asked if they could do anything. They said no since it had been installed. So I play around with faucet more. It disconnects from the base, drips water, and no matter where I put the weight the spray nozzle doesn't retract. So I contact floform again, still won't help. They tell me to call Kohler. So I do, they tell me right away I shouldn't have those problems and that I need to go thru who I purchased the faucet from to have them do a return and exchange. NOT HAPPENING- tried that and they refused. Over 10k spent and they weren't even willing to help in the slightest bit regarding our issue. Once they're done and have your money customer service goes out the window. Positive notes: Daniel our tile guy was awesome. He drove here in a snow storm, got stuck on our hill getting out and even came back the next day to finish the job. He was great and did a wonderful job. Kohler came thru and sent me a replacement faucet in a completely new model and it's been installed and is SO MUCH better than the Kohler simplice. We love our how kitchen turned out. Here's to hoping there are no issues down the road so I won't have to go thru floform again. read more

I contacted Costco regarding countertops for my kitchen remodel when I saw they were associated with Cambria. The contact I have have with Floform has been very disappointing. I'm used to expecting above and beyond with Costco connections. These people wouldn't give me a quote without coming to my house. Mind you, I'm in the middle of a full kitchen remodel. There is nothing to see, nothing to measure (yet) but I do have professional drawings from our designer and knew exactly what counter top I wanted. So I reluctantly agreed to an appointment. Then, in a very condescending manner, I was informed that this persons time is very valuable so if I wasn't going to be able to keep the appointment, I would need to make sure to cancel. Well guess what? My time is very valuable as well! Forget the appointment, I'll contact someone else. After seeing the other reviews here, and my interactions with a couple people from this company, I decided to use another company and found a completely different countertop. Granite & Marble Specialties have lived up to their reviews so far, and once my kitchen is finished, I'll be giving them a review as well. Costco FIRE this Supplier ASAP!! Bought these countertops via Costco Special Services Kiosk, assuming they were high quality and excellent service however the experience has been SOOOO terrible I am going to cancel my Costco Membership after they finish the install. For starters, they forced us to reschedule our first install date. Which wasn't a big deal, I get it, COVID is causing all kinds of issues. But after so many reschedules it started to feel like they were taking advantage and prioritizing other bigger projects. Secondly, they came to install the countertops and the install team was super rude and did a terrible job which they tried to play off as if it was totally fine. Not to mention they didn't polish the underside of the counter tops, which we paid for. So they leave with everything terribly installed and then call back several days later to schedule an appoint to come back out to fix the situation. They came back out, and the installers said they were going to polish the counters on site but that it would NOT look as good as if it was done at the factory. Why on earth would anyone want that, that's not what we paid for. So the rude installer with his bad attitude, said they'd have to tear them out. Which he said it in way as if it were a threat. So we told them to remove the countertops pieces that were wrong. Our new appointment due to material delays (COVID related, everything is COVIDs fault) several weeks out is about to come up and they are telling us at 4PM on the Friday before the Monday install that the pieces they took, they threw out and needed them to color match the pieces of countertop that were left installed. So now they want to come back, tear out more counter tops to match to then schedule another date to come back out. Overall, the attitude of the installers are terrible, the customer service and planning of a simple countertop job is terrible, I honestly don't know how they are still in business. If I owned this place I would be completely embarrassed. read more

I booked FloForm through Costco because I trust Costco's commitment to Customer Service. While we are happy with the way the counters and backsplash look it was a painful process. We weren't told we'd need an electrician to reinstall our cooktop after they cut the wires (!). We have chips on our white door trim next to where they demo'd backsplash. They removed under counter lighting and in reinstalling used 3 inch screws that went up through the actual cupboard. The overhang on one side is off .5 inch to 3/4 inch from end to end. I had a new dishwasher installed in July which was running fine for 3 months. the friday after the install I ran my DW for the first time since they went in and lo and behold, my dishwasher is leaking. My plumber came out and we noticed a huge dent in top left corner where the top is bolted/sealed, and the back panel is cracked. Just a little unusual that it ran fine for 3 months but then just-like-that it's defective. There has been zero accountability to come out and even look at it, after multiple calls. Will not recommend them to anyone I know. read more

The end product as a result of buying through Costco and having Floform do the installation is nice. BUT it did not come without no shows, canceled appts., measurement issues. 2 of the vendors Floform employs are inexperienced and unprofessional. Floform uninstalled my cooktop to install the quartz and when it was time to put it all together everyone said it was not their job. They uninstalled racks from under my sink and left screws laying all over my kitchen. They did not reinstall the racks, probably why they did not care about keeping track of the screws. The project drug on past the timeline they laid out. The touchless faucet they sold me did not work. They tried over and over to fix it. They told me it was my responsibility to call Kohler and get a replacement, they said if I read the fine print of the contract they did not have to make sure the faucet worked. My project coordinator never answered the phone, voicemail every time. My calls were not returned. I am now trying to reach Floform to find out why I still have not received my Costco shop card that they said I would received when I signed off on the project. I have another kitchen to remodel and I will be going elsewhere. read more

Do not hire! We went through Lowe's in Lacey to install new cabinets and countertop. Cabinets were done by another contractor. FlowForm did the countertop. They were a 2 weeks out in booking a measure and another month out to get countertop install. Called 30minutes before install and said they had to cancel. They came out the next day to install the countertop and installed incorrectly. Asked me to change my schedule to accommodate the fix. I asked them to come out on a Saturday first thing so didn't have to take another day off work. They showed up at the end of the arrival window. And fixed the mistake. When I asked for compensation for taking days off and the screwed up I got a run around and was told to read the contract. There are lots of Countertop companies out there I would go with anybody else. read more

The final piece of quartz was installed today. This was the piece that replaced the tile that was originally supposed to be installed on the windowsill. I am glad that they recommended that we switch to quartz. Job complete and everything went great! A couple of final thoughts. Some have complained about getting sinks and such from Flo Form. While FloForm will happily sell them to you, you do not have to buy them from FloForm. In my case, their price for the sink was the best I could find, and I ended up purchasing the other stuff (faucet, soap squirter thing, etc.) on-line because the price was a smidge lower (not a lot though); if you're thrifty and have the time, it's an option to consider. Businesses have a right to earn a profit, and we have the right to do the legwork if we feel it will save a buck. FloForm did want a big chunk of change to remove and reinstall the range, but when I said I would do it (actually, I just slid the range out and am waiting for a new one to be installed by the store we bought it from), they said no problem and took the charges off of the quote. If you know what you are doing, save the cash. If you don't, pay the money - it's not worth a hurt back, crushed fingers, an interaction with the 240V power supply, scratched floors, or a major gas leak. So all in all: FloForm provided a thorough bid at what I feel was a fair price. They were easy to work with and did not apply pressure (thanks Mike L.). In terms of planning, craftsmanship, operational excellence and customer care, I can't think of anything they could do to make it better. Their process seems to ensure that nothing is overlooked, and their approach to customer communication is without flaw (thanks Alivia). Do yourself a giant, enormous, life changing favor and search Yelp until you find a countertop installer that does not have the barrage of horror stories related to Flo Form. Just don't make the mistake I did when I bought countertops through Costco, thinking Costco could be counted on to guarantee good customer service. NOPE. Terrible. Not only was Flo Form awful and their project manager rude and argumentative, but the "contract services out" part of Costco is different than the warehouse department and Costco didn't give a rip about FloForm and their subcontract plumber being equally shoddy. FloForm and plumber claimed there was no other way to plumb my kitchen sink but "uphill" and given that, they told me I could expect to have trouble with the debris collecting in the pipes. They said I would "just need to take the plumbing apart regularly to clean out the debris". Not a pleasant job, but I did that every few months for 3 years, until one day I couldn't get the sink to drain at all, no matter what I did or how much gunk I cleaned out - it had backed up into the pipes too deeply. I hired a new plumber who took one look at the Flo Form contractor's piping, shook his head and simply changed the kitchen sink drain basket to one with a shorter height. Then he snaked the crud out of the drain, replumbed the pipes and bingo - 2.5 hours of plumbing labor charges later and I had the plumbing I needed in the first place. Not rocket science. The countertops are pretty - but Flo Form is awful. You can get pretty countertops from decent companies - don't make the mistake I did and sign up for FloForm. read more

Where do I start? We got Floform through Costco. Customer service was ok until our credit card was debited. You hire a contractor because you want a professional and a high quality job done. Ours wasn't the case. Barely 3 months after the job was done (not to mention 3-week delay), there are visible, ugly cracks along the joints of the countertop and backsplash installed by Floform. Called several times to complain but no one responded. The whole job looked like it was done by my 4-yr old son. Poor finishing! I watch HGTV and I'm really even angrier looking at the quality of the finishes compared to mine, considering the price points are comparable and at times Floform was pricier. Their project managers say one thing and then email something else. The shop folks don't seem to know how to read drawings. Since templating, been waiting over a month for kitchen countertops with several miscommunications about installation date. Installers arrived today and realized that an edge was fabricated incorrectly and a piece has to go back to the shop. Don't even get me started about these losers!!! We bought our Granite from Kitchens Plus in June. We were told we had til August for them to hold it, and get it fabricated, through Fine Line Pacific. We called in July, left a voicemail, and got no return call. We called again, same thing. After finally calling kitchens plus to see what the hell was goin on and why we were being ignored when we'd just dropped a ton of money into this, they just transfered me to fine line. I then had to explain my issue AGAIN! After finally tlaking to a guy there, he said he wanted a drawing of my cabinets with the measurements. Which, I had lefto n is voicemail and already discussed with him. he said he's get going and get it fabricated. 2 more weeks went by. My husband got a call that they needed measurements AGAIN!!!!!!!!!! Here it is pushing September, we still have NO granite in our bathroom and these people do NOT have their shit together. To my knowledge, ti's still yet to be fabricated. I will NEVER use these slackers again!! They're horribly unprofession, rude, and don't get their job done, and they have no return policy, you don't use them, you're out a thousand dollars. The funny part is, my good friend is a contractor. I went through him to get a custom cabinetry, told him the measurements ONE time, he ordered the cabinet on time,a nd it was even done a WEEK early! Wanted to leave a review for Mike Lane from Floform/Costco even though we didn't actually end up ordering from them. I'm really impressed by the service! Mike didn't need to be so polite and helpful, bu he really came through in a big way and represented his company and his trade so well. Long story short, I called through Costco 2 days ago, got assigned to Mike who was very prompt in calling me and literally answered every question i had, and was able to prepare a quote for me the same evening as I have detailed plans of the new kitchen already. I really admire his high energy and enthusiasm and tip top customer service. The schedule didn't work out as i need the countertop sooner than costco can provide (4-6 weeks out), it was really my own fault i should have called earlier - Mike was 5 stars service. i definitely would come back and consult Mike when i'm doing my next project. read more

We are currently in the product/service review and bidding stage for counter tops and backsplash so have been seeing a lot of salespeople and looking at a lot of product. After an initial consultation meeting with FLOFORM we are quite sure we will NOT be going with them. We called on them because they are the Costco contractor in our area and we generally love everything about Costco. If you feel the same way I think it is important to note here up front that FLOFORM is separate from Costco. They are merely the company that has the Costco contract currently. They are located in Kent, WA and ship pieces all over the NW so they may or may not be local for you depending on where you live. I see this as a negative for folks on the other side of the state or in a different state altogether like us. Do your research. Bottom line is that FLOFORM is a MASSIVE machine that turns out MASSIVE amounts of product. This does mean they have the infrastructure and most modern manufacturing equipment but it also means it is easy to get lost in the process with them. We immediately felt like just another number in a long list. Oh, and speaking of numbers...the FLOFORM quotes we received were anywhere from $2500 to $4K MORE than several local competitors who provided as with a much more personal, hands-on, customer service experience. After getting quotes from other providers for granite countertops for our new kitchen, we chose Lowe's with great hesitation after reading mixed reviews because the price just could not be beat. We expected a "meh" experience but hoped for the best. We did not know which company was coming until the guy showed up for our measurements. He was with Floform and he represented their company well. He called to let us know he was running a little behind due to traffic which is more than most people who either just show up late or not at all. He was very professional, answered all of my questions and even discussed a few details that we had not even thought of when we designed the kitchen- final touches that really made a difference in the final look. The install team consisted of two guys that showed up on time, took the time to cover our new floors and quietly worked to install our counters all in one day. I was incredibly thankful for their respect and care in workmanship- we absolutely love our countertops! One star reduction for the oily looking spots left behind and no care instructions on how to deal with that or how to care for the honed finish we chose but thanks to the internet, we learned how to clean and care for it so now every day they make me smile! (Tip for anyone else with this problem- The only thing that worked to get rid of those oily spots was a granite sealant even though the granite supposedly comes with a lifetime sealant. We bought Rock Doctor Granite Sealant and followed the instructions on the back) Thanks Floform for helping us finish up on a stressful project! I have used FineLine many times over the years. I have found them to be very knowledgeable, always very client friendly and they do a beautiful job of installation. Every client that we have installed through FineLine has been very pleased. On the rare occasion that there was an issue, they completely stood behind their product and stuck with it until it was right. They are a "giant" as one other noted, but along with that comes better communication, better scheduling and in some cases better pricing when you can utilize their stock program. Nice job ! I consider myself a very kind and fair person, but if I could give this company less then a one star rating I would. If you are considering them for a job, I would sincerely run to another company. I ordered a custom countertop for my bathroom. It needed 2 sinkholes cut. The girl told me it would take 7-10 days. 2 weeks later and it is not done and they are now quoting me out almost another week. The communication was horrible. No response to emails or calls ( until I complained) to me or my contractor. My contractor who is very experienced and good said that this is a 3-4 hour job max, and it will end up being 3 weeks. My guess is that this job was not big enough for them to really care about. Disappointing in every way. :( read more

If I could give Florform zero stars I would. We ordered our counters in March. We were told due to the pandemic things were backlogged by about a month. Which was absolutely fine and understanding. In March, they came out to measure the cabinets and the guy who did that was very nice, he did tell us that we needed the face boards on the cabinets. Even though we were originally told not to put them on. So we put them on and he came back out to double check the measurements. We were told by Aaron, our project manager, that our tentative date was April 23. The week leading up to the 23rd we heard nothing. We called aaron daily and he never got back to us. On the 23rd, he finally called and said our date was actually April 26th. Again we never heard back from anyone and our day came and went with no word back. We called for over a week leaving messages and finally got in touch with his manager Chelsea. Chelsea stated we were never put on the schedule and she "reminded us" that they were super back logged and could not get us in till May 7. May 7, the team did actually show up and that team was amazing. It was two guys who were super friendly and cared about the work they did. Sadly when they went to put on half the counter and the waterfall edge it was too long. It left a massive gap between the counter and the cabinets. They guys there said it was up to us, but gave us the option to get it redone. We decided to do that and a couple days later the measurements were done again and determined it was in fact Floform that cut them wrong, not us that messed with the counters. This lead to an entire week of not hearing anything so we called Aaron and Chelsea, again daily for an entire week, trying to get a status update. Finally we talked to the front desk who said the notes stated the counters has been recut and we're waiting for scheduling. At this point, we gave it a couple days then I called Aaron, the front desk said aaron was no longer with the company but transferred me to Marissa. I talked to her and asked for an update. She said they were backlogged and it would be another 3 to 5 weeks before they could get us in. At this point I said No, this is not acceptable since it was floforms mistake not ours. I asked that we get scheduled with a date immediately or schedule a date to take the other part of the counters off. As it would have been faster to go with someone else completely at that rate. Marissa was great and got us scheduled for the very next week. She later called and got us scheduled for the same week and had us scheduled for May 28. Today, May 28, a new team came out. They were very rude all day. Once the job was done they had us look and it turns out floform DID NOT cut and fix the quartz at all! The team out here just shimmed the counter and it still had a huge gap. We were upset but nice and asked if they could at least caulk in a section so there wasn't a huge gap. The main guy said yes, but proceeded to roughly grab our our drawers and toss it with glass around the kitchen before and after he caulked. Glass even fell on the ground. All the while complaining about how we were unhappy with the gap to his partner. Once it was done he filled out the survey himself stating we were completely satisfied. We caught this and changed it before signing, only because we wanted to review documentation before signing it. We should be extremely happy about having counters after over 2 months, but instead I am upset and honestly just want to cry. If I could change get anything with our kitchen remodel it would be to not use Florform. Seattle has amazing companies out there and this one is not one I would recommend. Terrible so far they have made 2 installation appointments and the first they called 2 hours before arrival time to cancel as all components were not there to complete installation, after being on order for 6 weeks. I could find them online from numerous suppliers in stock (faucets) but was told they would get from their own supplier. Second appointment was called off less than 3 hours before arrival time this time due to the crew calling in sick. Mind you this appointment was made over 6 weeks after the first one as that was the first available time. Paid in full through Costco May 20th today is August 7th and right now they cannot even give me a installation date. Do yourself a favor and take your business elsewhere. Only gave 1star rating but really should be less. Not typical Costco type vendor and suspect that Costco will soon drop them. read more

Red flags. Red flags. That's what was going through my mind the whole time during the quote process. What should've taken 20-30 mins took 90 mins+. A quote specialist came out to do quote but ended up doing a sales pitch complete with power point presentation, which I didn't have time for. She had me select so many different customizations and things that I didn't really need and ended up giving a quote that was $5-7k more expensive than precision countertops or granite & marble specialties, both also located in Kent and far more easier to work with. Aside from being condescending, I also didn't appreciate the intrusive questions about where my spouse or significant other or lack thereof. Women, even without a spouse, buy countertops and make an income. News flash. Actually countertop contractors in general do not ask intrusive questions, only this quote specialist or company does. They even ask on the phone. you would not be asking this Q if I was a guy. Terrible customer service. The last thing: she tried hard to get me to sign the dotted line at the end of 90 mins. Seriously? For $11-12k, there's no way I'm not going to explore my other options. And secondly after I told her I needed time to consider since the quote is a bit higher than expected, she said "oh well I'm sorry my quote is too high for you". Wow. She also didn't send full quote with every detail broken down. I mean, when making a quote estimate, please don't expect a sale to be made right then and there. I've worked with a few contractors so far, and I really appreciate their quote process. No, This company does NOT care about its clients or their needs, just the bottom line. I can see also from other reviews that this company also is poor in customer service when it comes to installation and correcting mistakes, they in fact don't live up to their promise. Fine-Line Pacific is a counter top installation company and their showroom is in an industrial park in Kent/Renton. They are also the vendor that contracts with Costco. They sent someone out to give us an estimate. She was very nice and explained the process and very promptly we received a quote back. Unfortunately, some of my follow questions have still been unanswered. We checked out their showroom one weekend afternoon and they have beautiful slabs of granite, and samples of other man made materials on display. For a show room of rocks, it is pretty cool and modern. Unfortunately, the lighting shows off the stone's qualities very nicely, but it doesn't compare to the lighting that we have in our kitchen. So, almost every sample we brought home looks entirely different in our kitchen. They were definitely friendly, helpful and informative. We haven't decided upon a granite vendor yet, so stay tuned for updates! read more

I've had a very weird experience with floform so far. They called me when I was in my car so it came over my Bluetooth. The woman who called would not make an appointment with me unless my husband would be there, (it was starting to get a little strange at this point), then he said (over the bluetooth) it's ok, she's making the decision on this, the woman still wouldn't set an appointment until he could be there....we are living in the 21st century right? Woman have rights and can vote true? It was just so odd, I'm not easily offended by this kind of thing, usually, but it felt a little like I was being treated like a child. Not a good first impression. By the way, I found it interesting that according to their website, they have a perfect 5 star rating from yelp, take a look at the actual yelp rating.....makes you wonder about their honesty read more

What a strange experience with sales consultant, Brenda. She was borderline rude and condescending. I can't believe we were looking at granite samples from the back of her vehicle because she was too lazy to bring them in. Quote seemed very overpriced. This was a very dismal experience. I've wanted new countertops for years and this was a very disappointing start. We are getting out counter tops with Granite Guys in Calgary - Now they are amazing!!! read more

Im a little disappointed, glue on my tiled floor, gouged cabinets inserting vanity top, adhesive seems to be drying differently, some of it is clear, some white, not a good look. So far they are seeming to work with me.. will update as these issues progress thru their process. read more

Very promptly repaired an undermount sink that fell through the quartz after 12 years. Thats right twelve years, people. Techs came out and re- attached the stainless sink using a more current technique. GRATIS. Fantastic customer service, unbelievable actually. Thanks for standing behind your product. We went with IKEA, which means we got FloForm and it is not going well. We made the order in February and it's July and we're no where near being done. Mind you, they ask you to pay for everything up front. First issue, we wanted and ordered an undermount sink. They came to do the template and asked if we want to keep the current sink (overmounted) I said yes, we would like to. They changed the order and now we are waiting to hear back on a fix. We still want an undermount sink and could have bought a new sink. Same visit, they told us we had to move two outlets --- didn't mark the wall or send us follow up paperwork. So we moved the outlets. Today, they came to template the backsplash and we have to move the same outlet again --- right, twice we have to pay for the same outlet. When you do something everyday, for a living, you should be able to help homeowners navigate. Instead, we are waiting and having to pay for addition costs --- because they really don't care about the customer or the quality of their work. That's the bottom line. Don't use them and don't use IKEA. read more

If I could give this company a minus 10 I would in a heartbeat. In general the back handed corruption (called "relationships" in the construction and renovation industry) is out of control. The homeowner is vulnerable and repeatedly taken advantage of because the suppliers and tradespeople are in bed together (frequently- literally). Specifically, the work that FLOFORM did for me was expensive, not installed properly (they cut corners at my expense) and I was ripped off. I paid thousands of dollars for a large piece of countertop expecting to keep the entire piece that I paid for but they would not give me the cut outs so I essentially paid for air. The surface of the product was badly pitted but they could have cared less. What you see in the showroom is NOT what they provide. FLOFORM lied to me and cheated me out of material that I paid thousands of dollars for....and their installation was amateur and installed over 6 weeks later than promised. There are better options out there. Don't waste your money. read more

This company provided very poor service. They were contracted through Lowes, although Lowes did an outstanding job trying to solve the problems created by Floform. Floform arrived with the incorrect sink, but we accepted it because of our construction timeline. Their product was beautiful quartz, but it did not sit properly on our countertops or against the wall. Of course the person that did the measuring did not tell us this would be an issue, even when we asked. When we complained, a second installer came to remove the backsplash part of the countertop. He commented on the poor job done previously. If you need countertops, do not use Floform, they are not customer friendly or helpful. read more

We used FloForm thought Costco. The rep Michael Ferguson did a great job up to the installation date and or once our bankcard was charged then drop all communication. He done a terrible job on following through with a referral issue and never once called to see if we were satisfied with the end results.. The customer service in the Kent show room was terrible. We had a very hard time getting anyone to acknowledge us let alone help. The gentleman who did the template was great & very knowledgeable & the end product turned out good. However, a week after it was installed we received an offer from another highly recommended contracted that would have done the same comparable job for $2,000 less. We would not use or recommend using FloForm. read more

We met the reps. at the homeshow last year and told them that in about 6 mos we were wanting to start a project. They called at the 6 mo. time and we set up an appointment. Their designer came to our home and was very pleasant and helped with the overall design. We wanted items different then they provide and a custom stove top that needed to be coordinated with a different vendor. They provided a detailed est. and time line. Everything went as planned. After about 2 weeks and things had settelled in we had 2 minor issues that needed addressing. Again set an appointment came on time and resolved our issues. Thank You read more

My experience...They brought a gentleman with a computer with a digital line tool to make "precision" measurements, but when they installed the slab the cut path around the perimeter of the countertop was terrible, lines weren't straight, and they tried to fix the gaps with tons of caulking. After e-mailing back and forth they finally agreed to replace it, but they re-cut the slab with the original path. I ended up having to watch installers grind down the slab a ton until it was not noticeably wavy and wonky. read more
