After months of shopping around, we decided to have David's team install LVP, carpet and handle all our millwork and casings which included complicated compound angles on our staircase. Their workmanship and attention to detail was very professional and more than met our picky expectations. The old-school honesty and integrity of everyone on David's team was truly refreshing. Eric managed our project and kept it on-time and on-budget. His attention to communication was impressive & timely even at 10pm at night and on weekends. A week before we needed to move they said they would be able to start right away. Other flooring services said they needed 1-2 weeks before they could start. We were getting about 1250sqft of LVP installed in 4 bed rooms and a laundry room. After signing the invoice, Vlad's team demoed and prepped all the subfloor two days later. The day after demoing, they said they got the material they needed and went hard at work getting flooring installed. We communicated in advance that there were squeaks in the floor, we marked some of those squeaky locations for them, during the demo and prep they found more squeaking that they fixed for us. Their communication and pricing was amazing. Vlad kept in contact with us every other day via calls and texts. Any questions I had were quickly addressed by him and his team. Some other great details that stood out to me: One of their guys helped me move a heavy package upstairs without me even asking them. They saw I was about to move it and offered on their behalf During prepping they needed to take off all the doors and rehang them. They were able to rehang them better than when we moved in They did a good job at helping clean up a lot of the dust from the carpet and demo. They couldn't get all the dust as some of it required a mop The installers they have work fast and are quite experienced They labeled and organized all the baseboards/trim they took off and neatly put it in the garage. We chose to reuse it and they put it all back well. We just need to repaint it. You could choose to have them replace them and repaint them if you want. We are looking to have our downstairs floor done by them in the future. I was also pleased to learn that the Prestige also does painting at a very competitive price. We'll be looking to have them paint in the future as well. Tips for customers - Make sure you look at floor samples that include the seams, some samples may only show you a full piece so you may not see what the pattern looks like. Some lighter LVP wood samples may have sharp seam contrasts Mark all the areas on your floor where there are squeaks. After your floor is demoed, walk around on it and find more squeaks and mark them with an X using a marker so they are fixed up Get everything you want done in writing and signed off on Make sure the flooring service you go with includes a clause about an installation warranty in your contract. They did all of the sawing outside, cleaned up (including sweeping) every day, and let me add a couple of small projects partway through while still finishing on time. The last time we had flooring installed (not by Prymych) the house was filthy and we had to sweep and mop multiple times to get all the dust up. Prymych also did a high quality job repairing the drywall where we had railing removed. They had to expand the stairs and cut out the drywall in preparation for the new rails and their work is beautiful. I highly recommend Prymych Home Services. We chose two granite slabs for a large project which involved a 9 foot island and smaller project for another home. One of the slabs had a river of quartz running through the middle and was templated to be the center focal point of the island. When installation day came, we were surprised to find that the island had no quartz running through the center. We couldn't figure out what went wrong. When the second granite countertop was delivered to our daughter's home for install- there it was. The quartz was placed in front of the kitchen sink. This mistake really showed a lack of caring for customer wishes and a template appointment that was a waste of time. Pretty disappointing. Seams weren't that inconspicuous- I've since had other stone projects with smaller seams.

The lack of clear answers and the tone of the response made me lose confidence in moving forward with this company. From the start, when I walked into their storefront for the first time to get some information, to…read morethe finished install, Hardware Plus was great. I wanted to replace old carpet and pad in a converted garage space (now a family room) along with leveling out a slight slope in one of the corners. After talking with the guy at the front office space (sorry, I forget his name), I was able to get some good information about the products they carried and a rough understanding of what the process would be. A day or two later, Erik meets me at my house with a few sample boards and to take a look at the space (approximately 360 sq ft). I showed him a mockup I created for color reference and we went through the samples, comparing color, softness, thickness, pile and quality. None of the boards he brought matched all that I wanted (either right pile and softness but wrong color or visa-versa) so we scheduled a time to meet in the storefront. When I arrived, Erik and I pulled out several sample boards with potential candidates based on the discussion we had earlier and he patiently waited and answered questions as I narrowed down my options until I finally landed on carpet that met my requirements. He was able to give me a pretty close cost estimate right then, so I knew it was within budget and the official estimate came just a few hours later. I scheduled the install, which would take two days since I wanted to level is concrete slab also and time was needed to cure the self-leveler compound. On the day of the install Erik and his install team, headed up by José, arrived and quickly got to work. A fairly deep crack in the slab was discovered, causing us to need more leveler than expected (although Erik brought some extra bags just in case). José came back in the evening on the same day to see how the leveler did and after seeing that there was still a depression where the crack was, he went to work adding a thicker, quick drying compound to level it all out. The next day, the installers, with José, came in, validated the floor was level and the compound was cured and proceeded to install the pad and carpet quickly and cleanly. All the while, Erik was in constant communication with me either on the phone, via text message or in person. When any concerns or questions arrived, they were resolved or answered quickly. I am impressed by the quality of customer server and the finished results and would recommend Hardwood Plus for carpet installs.

When I sought estimates for this carpet replacement project on Yelp, Hardwood Plus was the first and fastest reply. Erik showed up on time and quickly gathered the information he needed while explaining some of the things that could go wrong, like leveling issues or finding something unexpected beneath the old carpet. He promptly provided a quote, and kept in touch via text message (a huge perk for phone call-averse people like me). When we visited the showroom to pick out the carpet and sheet vinyl pattern, it came as a relief that Erik was not interested in upselling - he'd present options, explain the pros and cons of each, and trusted us to make our own decisions. The first issue occurred on the installation day, when Erik messaged me to say the carpet had not arrived yet. He was apologetic and explained what had happened, but we would still have to wait another week for it to arrive. The second issue occurred after his team removed my old carpet: they found the tiles underneath contained asbestos and needed to be sealed, for an additional cost. This added another day to the sheet vinyl install, but this was a possibility he had mentioned early on. The team also accidentally broke my dryer vent, but Erik agreed to fix it with absolutely no fuss. Finally, there were a few little bubbles in the sheet vinyl I had to push out. But now that it's all done, I am absolutely over the moon with how great my new floor looks, and how delightfully plush the new carpet on the stairs and guest room is!
