Highly recommend this coffee shop if you're walking the Hollywood strip! Great service, Jules was super friendly and got a recommendation of a drink that I typically dislike but because they make their own syrups in house and foams. I had to give it a try! What we got: * Pumpkin iced cold brew latte with Oat milk (Jules recommendation) * Custard Danish The pumpkin cold brew latte... geeez, blew me away, not too sweet. I typically hate psl because of the over abundance of cinnamon spice shops use but this is very subtle and the cold brew coffee comes through the creamy foam nicely. 10/10 recommend! My mother enjoyed the danish. Overall I'd come back for other drinks and baked goods if I was in the area again. Thanks float! This place is incredible. It's an adorable little hole in the wall cafe with amazing ambiance and a lovely space. They have a downstairs area and an upstairs area with couches and plush seating, one of my favorite things to do is to go upstairs and relax on their couches while enjoying the food. The serve is wonderful, all of the employees are always super nice and helpful. I had questions about their signature mugs being microwave safe (they are) and the employee went out of his way to find the original box and verify for certain that they are. The menu is great, they've got an expansive list of really good food, I've never had something at this cafe that I didn't enjoy. I love how they add employee recommendations for drinks, they have free wifi and restroom for guests which is extremely helpful. I wouldn't say this is the best regular place to go if you're struggling with money like I am, but it is a wonderful treat, and not at all overpriced given how high quality their food, drinks and service is. My SINGLE minor issue that I tend to have here is that the icecream they serve is often too cold and frozen, so it's more like chewing on flavored ice. This place is a solid 5-Star Coffee/Pastry/ Food shop- and it's in the middle of Hollywood Walk of Fame!!! Location is a Killer.. I've been coming here almost everyday now for a month or so and never has Float Hollywood not meet or exceed my expectations for coffee/pastries!! The food quality is amazing and the staff is fun, attentive and caring! This lovely place is next door to my building. I used to buy a cup of macchiato for myself, and recently, I bought a sandwich with free French fries. I was surprised with a delicious Picnic Sandwich! Crispy bread, tender Turkey meat, and avocado made my day! My little friend enjoyed French fries. Every day, when I pass by this tiny spot, I feel the taste of the best sandwich I have eaten in the last month. Our first time here. This was a great place to stop for lunch before the matinee at Pantages. We were warmly welcomed by a very friendly staffer behind the counter. She answered our questions and smiled the entire interaction. The house lemonade is like none other - must try! The sandwiches are made to order, although we were told there are sometimes some premade in the case for grab-and-go. We ordered the chicken pesto and The Picnic, both came with a side salad. The food was REALLY good. The chicken on the pesto seemed like it was sliced from the breast. Love that! There was a slight hint of mayo on the sandwich that blended extremely well with the pesto. Creative! My spouse loved The Picnic, repeatedly mentioning the ciabatta tastes fresh. There is plenty of seating, even an indoor balcony with seating! The restaurant was very clean. Every table was clean and quickly cleaned when guests left their table. As we left, all three front of the house staffers wished us a good day and thanked us for stopping by. I tried the veggie wrap with a fresh side salad for this hot day and let me tell you *chefs kiss*. The wrap was so filling with a soft spinach tortilla, smooth hummus and the cucumbers add for a nice crunch. This wrap paired with their Vanilla Cold Brew made for the perfect pair! The place is cute, but the cleanliness and service can be improved. Walked in on a weekend afternoon to grab a small bite and coffee with my aunt. Every table, and I do mean every table was filthy. We found a semi-clean spot to eat, so we sat there. I went up the register and the barista working (mind you the only one doing everything) barely greeted me. I ordered and asked if someone could please clean the table where we were sitting and was told that she was the only barista scheduled and to give her a moment. This was understandable and so I was patient. In addition to the food that was ordered, I also bought a small gift which I expected to at least be placed in a bag, but the girl just left it there on the dirty counter top. I asked if she had a bag and she gave me a think pastry bag for it and didn't even bother to place the item in the bag. All good with me, because this barista's nails were filthy! Like, I don't want anyone with dirty fingernails touching anything, let alone something that I am going to consume. Lastly, no one came to check on us. No one came to take our plates. No one even said "thank you." I won't be returning here. read more

I went in for a coffee at about 11:30 am there was a couple ahead of me and the person behind the counter made their drinks chatting with them. I had a simple order that took forever and I got what felt like a dissertation about coffee and the making of coffee. It would have been interesting had I asked for it or if I hadn't been spoken down to while having to wait an inordinately long time for a cup of coffee.
