This is a really great spot. I order at least twice a week and it's always good. Sandwiches, salads pizzas all of it. Prices are very reasonable and you can tell all of the ingredients are great quality. Definitely give them a try you won't be disappointed! Ordered chicken strips and fries from this place tonight. The first order was burnt, went back and asked for a replacement. The second order was burnt even worse. In my mind... at that point you are Just trying to be rude. I went to a person that worked in the kitchen, and said "This is not a Taco Pizza, showed them... Then a kitchen worker assembled a small Take Out container, and promptly put the fresh tomato, lettuce... no black olive, or sour cream... like this was a "D.Y.I. Pizza"??? I payed for it, my friend would eat it... but I would have just left it on the counter, and leave... I had no interest in talking to the manager... January 16, 2026: Their phone took my order with an AI assistant, which seemed very competent. I drove there to pick up my order and the place was closed. There was a rough-looking guy inside who was sitting down and looking at his phone. He acknowledged my presence but wouldn't come to the door and speak with me. Folks in adjoining bar (allegedly unrelated business) said they were still open sometimes, and hear a lot of complaints about the operator being a jerk. My credit card was not charged. So I am not a super picky pizza person. I'll eat just about any pizza. I've been watching their specials and for $24.95 you got 2 large 2 topping pizzas and a 2 liter of soda. Not bad, right? Delivery is free. Call to do the order, don't go through any of the apps to order as 1. You'll pay more 2. You'll be charged a service fee. It's not the best pizza I've ever had. I ate a piece of the pepperoni, but not a fan of their pepperonis flavor. My coworkers will likely enjoy it when I take it in tomorrow so it doesn't go to waste. The Hawaiian is ok. Definitely better than the pep. My main issue is the crust. There's a weird smell and I'm not sure if the pizza boxes are stored somewhere with poor ventilation or what and the dough absorbed the smell or it's the dough itself. I've had this same issue at GAPC. The crust is pretty tough and flavorless too. I hate to say it, but Dominos is better if I want something at a similar price point. It's edible, it's ok...but I think the chains are better if comparing pricing (obviously there's better pizza in Anchorage, but at a higher price point). Customer service is great and they're very friendly both online and on the phone. Delivery was within an hour which is normal. They have specials for different things all week. I think I'd like to try a calzone or something in the future just to see if maybe I got a bad day. read more

I came down here the other day to order some pizza for dinner after a long day of studying. Flight Deck Pizza is located at the corner of International and Arctic Blvd. across from a car wash and a gas station with a bar and lounge of the same name adjacent to the shop. This longtime eatery is one of my favorite places to order pizza and I have been ordering their specialty pizzas for years whenever I'm staying in Anchorage for an extended amount of time. The pizza shop itself has a seating area but it is very small and cramped so I usually place an order for pickup. The employees here are always friendly to talk to but the wait can be a little while especially if you just happen to walk in. To save time, it is always best to call for delivery or call ahead for pickup to shorten the waiting time to ten minutes, fifteen or twenty during the meal rush. My usual longtime favorite is the Aviator Pizza which has pepperoni, salami, garlic, tomato, cheddar, mozzarella, and fresh parmesan. The key item which makes this one of my favorite places is their abundant use of garlic on their pizzas. For me, this is one of my favorite toppings and enhances the flavor for any pizza I order. On this visit, I decided to try something different and ordered the Greek-style Bahamas Mama Pizza (Greek style base with Canadian Bacon, mushroom, olives, feta, fresh tomato, light parmesan, and yes, a good amount of GARLIC). This was very delicious with the combination of cheeses and the freshly baked garlic butter crust which made me savor every bite. Other pizzas I highly recommend from their menu are the Mexi Flight Pizza (taco sauce base with beef, onion, olive, tortilla chips, cheddar, lettuce and tomato), the Barbecue Chicken (chicken, mushroom, onion, cheddar, and mozzarella cheese with bacon sauce), the Meat Lovers Flight (pepperoni, sausage, beef, GARLIC, and Canadian bacon), and the Chicken Bacon Ranch (garlic chicken, bacon, and house-made ranch sauce). Chicken strips, wings, mozzarella sticks, salads, and sandwiches round out the menu. A couple of sandwiches to take note are the Madison Square Garden Sub (roast beef, sautéed onions, GARLIC, cheddar, tomato, and butter sauce with au jus on the side) and the Point McKenzie Sub (turkey, bacon, tomato, horseradish, and crumbled blue cheese....fantastic....). A local business I have supported over the years and this place has a good amount of regulars with the items they offer. If I need to refuel or if it has been a stressful day after studying, this is my go-to place for pizza especially if I don't feel like dealing with the large crowds and the long lines over at the Moose's Tooth. This would easily be five stars if they had a larger seating area and more employees in the kitchen to reduce the waiting time during the lunch or dinner rush. Patience, especially in the fast-paced world we live in today, is a virtue especially if you want a delicious pizza with top-quality ingredients and yes, LOTS of GARLIC. read more

Ordered the dolmas, fried zucchini and the BBQ pizza. Arrived 45 minutes earlier than the app said it would, which was good. The zucchini was great! The dolmas were pretty good, a little on the bland side, but still pretty good. The pizza was ok. I'm not a huge fan of their crust, but the toppings were good. The crust wasn't bad, just not as fluffy as I normally like. I would definitely order from them again. read more

I actually waited until my third time eating this pizza to write the review. I am a pizza fanatic and have been struggling with finding a better local pizza place. Such a fanatic in fact that my home oven is cooking pizzas in less than 3 minutes. Somedays you want someone else to do the cooking. Milano's used to be my go to spot, but no longer. Flight deck is a simple operation with just a few long time employees that are there everytime I go. They put out excellent pies. Generous on the sauce, well spiced, and a good balance on the rest of your toppings. I order mine well done because I like a crisper pie. Great stuff! I just had a pie from this 'zza joint yesterday, and I must say.... I am impressed! It was prepared fairly quick, the chef used all natural ingredients... as opposed to un-natural ones..... But in all seriousness, this place had some great sauce... delicious bread/crust, fantastic fresh toppings, great family friendly atmosphere, and just all around great pizza. The only somewhat negative thing I can think of is that the menu is a bit on the pricey side, considering they're a specialty pizza place. But that's overlooked almost immediately considering the quality of their pizza. So, if you're ever on this side of C St, and you don't feel like checking out Luigi's (my other favorite pizza place, located right across the intersection of Flight Deck).... may I recommend this little gem? I'm not sure why this hole-in-the-wall bar isn't more popular. It has a huge bar, and is spacious and has a large dance floor. Most of the crowd that hangs at Flight Deck is older, and there's a lot of SERIOUS dancing that goes on there. One of the local dance club hangs out there a lot so even if you don't dance, there's good people watching. The music is live and like most bars in Anchorage, it leaves something to be desired, but is tolerable. Parking is somewhat limited which is also bummer. There's plenty of seating and the place has a nice cheers vibe. This place would be even better if more people would go there. So GO, would ya! read more

Great hole in the wall bar! Came here for the first time, not feeling too sure what to expect. It is located behind some apartment complexes and a taxidermy shop just off International. The interior is a large bar, small tables on the side, and some pool tables. We ordered a pitcher of Mirror Pond Pale Ale and moved to the back area of the bar to play pool away from the rest of the crowd. Pool is 0.75 per game and the pitcher was $14. We ordered food, a large club sandwich($15.99) and a bacon cheeseburger ($9.50), both with crinkle-cut costco fries. The lg club consisted of turkey, ham, provolone, and other stuff I forgot the contents, of on a hoagie roll that was well over a foot long, and toasted. The bacon cheeseburger was good, though not great, on a cheap bun and condiments. There was a good amount of tasty bacon which made the burger worth it. I will come here again when I just want a quiet night and cheap pool. read more

I have had the calzones, burgers, tater tots, fries and salads. Not a huge fan of the desserts (seem store bought) but the rest of the menu is great- haven't had a bad meal yet.
