Came by for dinner the other night and it was a tasty experience. Fleur de Pave is a Michelin 1 star restaurant. Dining is indoors exclusively with a chef's counter along wtih a table on the street level along with a dining room on the 1st floor.
Opted for the menu degustation at the chef's counter. Meal started off with the brioche bread which was ok. I've had fluffier brioche before. The amuse bouche for carrots and radish was also ok.
The first course was a cauliflower course which was plated nicely although I found the ingredients a touch "cheap." Moved on to the second course featuring scallops and radishes and it was a light and refreshing appetizer.
The first main course was a fish dish with mushrooms. The fish was cooked to perfection with a crispy skin. Mushrooms were served in numerous ways, including raw, cooked, and as a puree.
The second main course were the lamb chops and they were world class. The lamb chops were fatty, flavorful, tender, and cooked to perfection. This was served with a sauce along with some tasty vegetables.
The 2 desserts were also quite tasty, small portions, beautiful presentation, and A+ all around. read more
