It's pretty hard nowadays to find a great cleaners, but this one's one of them. Been going here for so many years. As I grow older, they grow nicer I've gotten to the point where the curb is really too high with the cane, etc. they come to my car and pick up my clothes and Payment. And that I thank them and bless them for that it's hard to find that kind of generosity and kindness on this earth. Thank you so much from the bottom of my heart. Initially I had another cleaner we had patronized for some time. Surprisingly a few Italian shirts came back with complimentary ink stains (not originally there at time of submission). Naturally we desired some resolution to this matter---Professor wearing ink stained shirts in teaching could be humorous or humorless. Fleetwood has been doing business in Brea for years on West Central Avenue. Located on west side of Angel Nails and north east of Dominos Pizza in a quaint strip mall marking the entrance to winding Brea Canyon Road. The price is in accord to job done---cleaning is pre-paid at time of garment drop off (see photos). Dropped off shirts and on next business day after 4:00 pm they were ready as promised. Opened plastic covering and with my magnifying glass I examined each shirt carefully. After 15 minutes I found a renegade stain---but it was not a stain only just a geometric chevron anomaly of these otherwise elegant Ermenegildo Zegna shirts. Do accept my gratitude for wonderful no stain results in three orders over the span of one year. Definite go to cleaners for myself and network when in town. read more

Family living in Brea for decades recommended Fleetwood and I brought 2 items there for a cleaning and pressing, a white dress shirt and black dress pants, that had ink stains in the shirt pocket from a low quality cheap pen. Came back a few days later since it was a Friday and told me they wouldn't be done until Monday, and the stain was worse. They told me they tried everything to remove it but couldn't do anything. No refund offered. I went home, googled for 5 minutes how to remove ink stains and soaked the pocket in vinegar and oxy-clean then rubbed the stain out myself. Very disappointed. A random layman with 5 minutes of googling and no laundry experience should not be able to do a better job than a professional. 2 star instead of one because on the positive both items were very well pressed. read more

This place is amazing!! I needed my daughters dress pressed I thought I could do it myself at home with my steamer and to my surprise I couldn't!! Took my white coat to the dry cleaners and it literally came back dirtier than when I had dropped it off. There was a brown smudge on the bottom of the coat that looked as if it got caught in a machine or something, and I know it wasn't something that was there before. I took it right back and at least they offered to clean it again. They had it done in about 2 hours, but it didn't look like the smudge had come out all the way. It's a cheap place and there is a same day turn around if you go before 10am, but it's not worth messing up your clothes. read more

I went along with my friend to this cleaners. They don't have a yelp, so I am writing this for them. This place is beyond horrible, not only did they ruin my friends shirts (shrunk them) the owner was talking down to my friend because he said he wasn't going to pay for the items he was picking up. From my friend words, "They shrank 3 name brand shirt (over $300 worth) and when I confronted the owner regarding the matter, he stayed "what do you want me to do about it?" I told him I just want to pick the rest of my things up and that I wasn't going to pay because of him damaging my property. He then stated, "I don't care if you work in law enforcement you are a bad person take your things and don't come back to my store." He said he was mad because he lost out on $70, which was my total that I didn't pay. I am appalled at the way I was treated and will never return to give them my service and suggest you don't as well." read more

I've been going to this cleaners place for over 5 years now. I don't ever dare to go elsewhere because I know they do a good job here consistently. $1.95 for any piece of clothing is an unbeatable price. It makes dry cleaning less painful to do more often because it doesn't hurt my wallet too much. Also, this place is a family run business (pretty sure) and I'm all about supporting small businesses. I have no comment about the workers there themselves, but honestly it doesn't matter to me as long as my clothes come out nicely. Drop off is easy and pick up is a breeze. They have SOOO many clothes here at all times, both for dry cleaning and for laundry, but they have an excellent organization system that makes them find pieces of clothing within seconds. I used to take my NJROTC uniforms here during high school to be dry cleaned and pressed. They do a really good job at making the creases/folds in the right places for uniforms. I also notice that they always have a lot of police uniforms and etc. here to be dry cleaned and pressed. Parking is never a problem. The plaza Fleetwood Cleaners is in also has a Domino's Pizza, EZ Mail, tobacco shop... and I think that's it. read more

Good dry cleaning at decent prices. Results are just okay. I've had buttons melted and the creases on my pants are a little amateurish sometimes. I could do better. But remember, $1.95 for everything. That's a good deal. Actually, their laundry service is terrific. It takes a while because they don't do laundry there, but my shirts come back perfect. The killer is that the other day I was dropping my clothes off and noticed the workers checking pockets of incoming pants. They found some bills and were haggling over 'who's turn it was to get it.' My old dry cleaner was honest enough to return anything I happened to leave in my pockets. You decide. read more

Below average for getting stains out, but good place if you just need your clothes cleaned without prespotting. $1.95 is a good deal, but not when to spend the extra time to bring 3 of 10 items to a different dry cleaner. The price for dry cleaning is very low at $1.95. However, it is true that you get what you pay for. I tried this place twice since I was working out in Brea for the month. I gave them a white shirt, gray shirt, and black shirt to dry clean (among a few others). The white shirt came back with the collar stains still on it, the gray shirt came back smelling like chemicals, and the black shirt came back with a white outline around the collar edges (it looked like it got over scrubbed). The black shirt never had that white ring around it before, but the owner of the dry cleaner marked the shirt off as old so he would not do anything about it. I don't care how old a shirt is (this one wasn't that old), if it gets damaged by the cleaner, the cleaner should do something about it. I always wondered why the dry cleaners near my house was a little pricier than other places, but I have never had any issues there and the clothes always came back very clean with no chemical smells. I guess I am to blame for being sold on the low price of this place, but beware. If you want to save a little and take the risk, that's your call, but don't say that you haven't been warned. I will be staying with my slightly pricier dry cleaners that does a great job. read more

$1.95 for nearly any piece of clothing and it's ready by 4PM the next day-I can't find a deal like that where I live! Plus this place is conveniently located to where I work. I haven't brought many clothes with stains in them in (which is surprisingly now that I think about it since I'm such a klutz) so I can't attest for that. I noticed Yelpers complaining about that but recently I've seen the employees marking stains with tape so maybe they have been taking these criticisms to heart. No complaints about the service, they may not be the friendlist folks in the world but they have been polite enough. After all, working at a dry cleaners must be really dull!! I've been coming here for quite some time and dropping for about 10 items a week. It's right next to my house and it is cheap so that's why I go. The staff overall is poor and I wouldn't hire a single one if I were running retail location. The quality of their work is mediocre at best. I agree with some others that my clothes came back dirtier than I dropped them off. The reason why I stopped coming here is because I dropped off a brand new shirt to be washed and pressed and it came back stained along with another item. When I brought it back the guy was insisting that I made the stain and that is was blood that I put on there? So my final advice if you don't really care about it coming out great come here. If you have expensive clothes and need to make sure it's handled well you should go elsewhere. I now drive out of my was to my old cleaner in Fullerton (Amerige Heights). service here is terrible. i came the first time on a recommendation and they only take cash. which is fine, i just wasn't aware. the initial conversation went like this: ::i hand them my card (you have to pay up front, not when you pick up):: him: we only take cash ::points at the sign:: me: oh i see.. ok, can i just leave my stuff here and run and get some money? i'm only five minutes away. him: ummm ::obviously bothered at the idea of holding onto my clothes for five minutes:: me: seriously. i'll just be gone like five minutes.. i'll be right back. him: ok. fine. ::begrudgingly:: i came back with money.. paid him, and the dude (young american kid) was nothing but a prick. i even tried joking around, lightening things up. if they're cleaning my clothes then it's in my interest that they like me, or at the very least are indifferent. I've tried back a couple of times, i thought maybe i'd hit him on a bad day, but it's obvious now that i'm on this guy's black list. I've left things for laundry and had them come back with large, obvious coffee stains still on them.. "oh, you didn't say laundry" .. just crap like that. f these guys.. i've already switched back to the place closer to my house. read more

YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR ... ...But with Fleetwood "Non" Cleaners you don't even get that! They are horrible. I took a beige suit there and had them mark the specific stain that I wanted removed. I picked it up and put it on for work the next day only to see the SAME stain there, clear as day!! Nothing is more annoying than getting dressed for work only to discover that the suit you've put on cannot be worn!! Plus they ironed the stain back into the suit. I'm not a laundry professional but I would guess that if I could see the stain, CLEARLY a professional would! I took it back and complained and they reluctantly refunded my money after a back and forth "debate". I gave them another shot and thinking someone probably just "missed" it, (ugh, I'm getting annoyed just thinking about it). This time it was a yellow sweater. I asked "OK so all the stains I showed you guys were able to come out of my sweater." The chunky guy responded, "well you can check!" WTH! No surprise to say that I did check and my fruit punch stain was still a decorative lil extra! Is it too much to expect that a professional laundry service provider, launder clothes AND if they cannot remove a stain, which does happen, TELL THE CUSTOMER!! After a recommendation from a friene, I gave these guys a few chances. *you pay at drop off. *received an item with a bleach stain on a purple shirt *another item looked like it was only pressed not washed. Noticed it after I brought it home it was 2 days later at that point and I brought it back to get it taken care of. They accused me of wearing the item! I had the plastic bag still over it and was pretty upset that they weren't willing to fix their mistake. You should get what you pay for. For me, there is no other cleaner besides Fleetwood. At $1.95 a piece and the offer of same day service (differently priced i believe), how can you go wrong?! They always do a consistent job and don't judge me when i bring several bags full of clothes. I drive all the way out from Cerritos to take my business here. Even one time when one of my jackets was unfortunately ruined (black stains ended up on the sleeves of a white blazer of mine, the manager immediately notified me and rectified the situation. I've been going to this cleaner since 1990 when I was living in Chino Hills. I've since moved to Glendale and I still come back here to do my dry cleaning. I remember when it was 99 cents a piece way back when. It's now $1.95 per piece, but it's still worth the drive to me! The staff is friendly, they have never lost any of my clothing (and I've cleaned over a thousand pieces!) and it's the best dry cleaning deal in souther california!! Thanks Fleetwood! read more
