I'm not sure how any person could complain about this hotel - after traveling significantly, this hotel is both comfortable (incredible mattress, bedding, bathroom), super clean, and staffed with friendly and helpful staff. We're in Ireland, so it's not quite what you would get in the USA - but honestly, the room was so much more comfortable than many 5 star hotels back home. The bathtub was a dream, the water pressure and temperature was beyond any reasonable expectation. The staff was super helpful. I couldn't find the hair dryer - but it was in the room and it wasn't in the bathroom because you don't use it in the bathroom here - you use the desk/mirror in the bedroom. Took a quick question at the front desk and that was entirely on me! I arranged for a birthday surprise for me husband and we enjoyed the extras from the hotel. The bar was amazing (call out to the great bar staff), breakfast was great, and the only rude people we encountered were British and French tourists. Definitely book with the breakfast, it's a great value and perk - the hotel even packed us breakfast to go on our early tour days. I'd 100% pay double for the room and stay here again. Thank you for an amazing stay!

My cousin found this hotel for my birthday trip this past May, and it greatly exceeded my exceptions. The location ideal for tourism in the Temple Bar area - it's a quick walk to so many places like the iconic Temple Bar, the infamous Brazen Head, Trinity College where you can see the gorgeous library and Book of Kells, shopping on Grafton street, fantastic restaurants, and more! The hotel itself is gorgeous as well - the lobby has such a luxe and expensive feel. The breakfast, which we opted in for, is also quite the spread - I wish we had more time to enjoy it while we were visiting. From what I remember, they had some traditional Irish breakfast items, and you could also order a few additional made-to-order items directly from the waiter service. We expected the size of the room to not be large so we weren't disappointed - it was the perfect space for two people and our luggage. The bathroom was also a good size. The weather was great while we were there so no A/C was not an issue for us. Also the blackout drapes were really effective. And there really wasn't much noise at night either. Every employee that we interacted with was super helpful and friendly as well. I cannot think of a single negative regarding our stay so I will definitely keep this hotel in mind for future visits to Dublin.

Room 203: make sure u don't get this one

The room is pretty small, bathroom towels smelled like body odor/sweat, shower has panels that only go halfway so water leaked out at the back half, heater didn't work so they gave me an electric radiator heater and though the heat turns on, it doesn't spread in the room. By the time i went to sleep, the heater had been on for 2 hours and it was still cold in the room. The towel rack I believe had an option to be heated but I couldn't turn it on. There were no outlets next to the bed so you can't use ur phone or any other device and charge in bed. The floor and room I was given was also too noisy. This room is all by itself is in a hallway that connects the section for the elevator and more rooms. Why there's doors between both of these I'll never know. I had just come off a long flight and wanted to nap but there was a lot of foot traffic and it always sounded like someone was right outside my door and trying to come in. There was also someone cleaning/vacuuming right outside the door, which didn't help with my nap. Oh and I could hear my neighbor walking in their room, almost sounding like they were in MY room! Super creaky floors. All in all, just not a good fit for me. The staff were really good though and location can't be beat. If you plan to book, read all the reviews so you know what to expect.

The Fleet was above and beyond my expectations. I took a little "mom time" this week and spent two nights in The Fleet on my own. The place is glamorous without being pretentious, comfortable without being outdated. I think they've put a lot of time and effort into bringing it back from lockdown and it shows. The staff were all super friendly and helpful in a genuine way, particularly the breakfast staff. And the food was great! The lobby was spotless and inviting (and Covid protocols were all adhered to). My room was small but super comfortable and clean and the shower was amazing. I really felt like I got away and treated myself. The only minor minor minor things were that the window was a little dirty from whoever last opened it and also there appeared to be some peeling paint over the door frame, but I only noticed this when I was leaving. The room was also a bit warm, but we were having a minor heat wave so I don't think this would normally be an issue. Honestly, I can't wait to come back and bring my husband next time. Also, as others have noted, this is Temple Bar (even the "quiet side" of Temple Bar is not quiet!) so it was never going to be a soundless room. Dublin is a vibrant, musical, colorful city, but also a bit of a dirty city, so if you're not comfortable dodging the occasional sketchy person, maybe book down on the South side where all the celebrities live. :)

You fall in love with what is presented online with the rich, lovely bar and charming rooms. They give you the keys, you walk to the back of the hotel and open to a tiny, old, tired room wit a shower barely enough to turn in. The small window, dark, drab old decor and no AC on a warm night. I asked management twice for a change and there's no way they were "full.". They asked for a review, Well it gets the single star it deserves.

I checked in to the Fleet Street Hotel for my last night in Dublin. I chose it mainly due to the location - I wanted to brave Temple Bar for the night, and this hotel is right in the heart of things. The hotel sits right above a TGI Friday's, so you'll need to take the elevator up to the second floor to check in. I arrived early in the day (around noon), but they were able to get me a room within about a half hour - there's a Tesco right across the street, so you can go get a sandwich or a drink while you wait. Or, of course, you could visit one of the many, many bars in Temple Bar. On to the room - Please note that while the hotel does have an elevator, the floors are split levels - so, if you're on the fourth floor, you may still have to go up and down a few sets of stairs. Keep that in mind if you're lugging a huge suitcase. I was on the 4th floor way in the back, which was great in terms of the noise - despite the constant party in Temple Bar, I was not disturbed by the crowds and was able to get a pretty good nights sleep. The bed was nothing special - comfortable enough. The bathroom was clean and well lit. No complaints. I uploaded a bunch of pictures, so check those out if you're considering this hotel for your stay in Dublin. If you're towards the back of the hotel, I wouldn't recommend purchasing the wifi... I did pay the five euros, but the signal wasn't strong and didn't work at all after about 8pm. Nothing for the rest of the night, nothing in the morning. Staff at the front desk were all right - not particularly friendly, but not rude. I wouldn't go out of my way to stay here again, but it wasn't a miserable experience. A-OK.

    Hotel lobby area. Christmas time!

This hotel is located in the city center area and is a prime location for proximity to bars, restaurants, etc. Temple Bar, a huge tourist bar, is just a few minute walk down the street. The hotel has a TGI Friday's on the ground floor. Dublin has a great bus system so it was easy to get to the hotel from the Dublin Airport. The hotel was a reasonable price and was clean. Despite being on a street with a lot of pedestrians, it was surprisingly quiet. There is a grocery store located directly across the street from the hotel entrance. I stayed here in December so the reception area was decorated for Christmas and felt very cozy. I felt safe in the hotel - you had to give them your name after 11 pm to enter the building. The shower had great water pressure and it was refreshing. The room did not have a safe if you're looking to keep your valuables locked up. The shower was very small and the water temperature adjusted to extremes with an ever so slight movement of the handle. The internal walls were a bit thin so you could hear noise from the hallway if people were out there being loud. Overall, I was happy with my stay and would stay here again. You just can't beat the location for the price!

For the price, my hotel room smelled awful and it was super noisy from the HVAC outside. I would take the noise of Temple Bar over that. I wasn't really impressed with the decor. We arrived from an overnight flight at roughly 9:30 a.m. and they were still prepping rooms but they stored our luggage and recommended a location to grab something to eat which was very good. Upon returning about 45 minutes later our room was ready and we found the room to be meticulous with a very comfy king bed, mini fridge, tv, and ample size bathroom. I saw a few other reviews that stated the bathroom doors would not stay open but I learned that is by design and we just asked for an extra towel that we used to prop the door open when needed. It serves to point out that the entire hotel is under a complete remodel so many of the rooms and features of the hotel are shinny new. They do offer breakfast in the morning and for the evening they do have a restaurant and bar. Just walk out the front door if you want a livelier crowd and more restaurant options The location of the hotel is prime as it offers proximity the River Liffey, plenty of shops, pubs, and attractions. We walked to the Jameson (25 min walk) and Guinness (30 min walk) factories as it also gave us the ability to take in things along the walk. You are close to Trinity College and both St Patrick's and Christ Church Cathedrals. lastly, I cannot say enough about the staff, Anne at the front desk was a warm and inviting pleasure and very professional, Marvin the concierge and bellman was super helpful and pleasantly informative, the house staff was attentive and always looking to make sure we were comfortable. The Brooks comes with my highest recommendation.

It was delightful to come home to each evening. Experience: 1. They will tidy your room everyday 2. Turn down service begins around 6 pm (they will get your slipper, robe, bed, water and chocolate ready for nighttime) 3. Their small guest room includes a king size bed that is superbly fluffy. 4. The deluxe guest room has a deep tub for soaking Staff: The entire front desk staff is very helpful, welcoming and efficient. Marta was especially helpful and kind throughout my stay! As for the porters were just right with their assistance. I did always feel bad that I had not gotten any Euro on my trip, but I will mention Karl was fantastic! Always helpful and nice to talk with. Michele in the health center was informative and helped me find all of the rooms for their current gym as it's under renovation. Facilities: They have a 5 star spa on site that includes one of the best relaxation rooms I have experienced in the world. It's the view and seating that make it amazing. They give you a blanket, fruit, spa water -- all while looking over st. Stephen's park... bliss! (I went on a rainy day which added to the ambiance) The facial with Elemis product was my favorite. PRO TIP! if you're from the states and liked Elemis, there is now an Elemis outlet store at Kildare Village, which is a short train ride away. I made it there in 35 minutes. DINING: Again, 5 star experience and the restaurant is always packed. Chef makes superb food and I thoroughly enjoyed the room service of fish and chips. TONS of fish, perfectly battered and fried. This made it easy for us as we could continue exploring according to our plan (we took a 30 minute train ride over to Howth right after dropping our bags). Coming back to the hotel around 5pm, our room was ready and we were able to nap a bit before dinner. The superior room we booked was located in a renovated section of the hotel and had access to a shared outdoor patio right across from our hotel room. We didn't have time to use the patio but it was spacious and it seemed no one was using it whenever we passed by. Our hotel room was very clean, large (great for us as we had plenty of luggage) and we had two complementary water bottles in the room. We had breakfast the next morning and it was buffet style. There is a section if you want fresh made omelettes. Lots of variety I think but I stuck with the classic Irish breakfast items. So delicious and fresh! Check out process - we had a bit of a hiccup as I had given my credit card for authorization for breakfast charges when I checked in. The staff was asking for my credit card again which confused me as I had already paid.
