We hired them to open up the first floor of our Cape Cod, and they completely helped me re-imagine the space taking down several walls to create a true open-concept layout. Along the way they installed new hardwood floors across the entire first floor, redid our shower, replaced both toilets, moved our washer and dryer, and prepped all the groundwork for our kitchen renovation. The craftsmanship throughout was outstanding. The part that really earned our trust is they delivered on what they promised AND THEN SOME! They finished within the estimate they quoted, and they were remarkably fast and efficient without ever cutting corners. Glen and his crew went above and beyond at every turn. His entire team was helpful, friendly, and easy to work with from the first day to the last. I would name them all here because I've gotten to know them personally, but I'll let you experience it first hand! If you're nervous about hiring a contractor (and who isn't?), Procraft is the team that will restore your faith. We could not be happier and will absolutely be calling them for our next project.

He came quickly to give us an estimate, and although we had to wait for an opening to redo our floors, he called us when something opened up so we could have our floors done earlier so we could move in sooner! His crew was great and the floors came out amazing! Would recommend this company to anyone on LI looking to get their floors refinished, sanded stained. Etc

Please stay away at all cost!!!…read more My husband and I hired Joe to sand and lighten the floors of our house. He said that he could get the job done in one week and because of the type of wood in our home it would be better to go darker. Along the way there were some hiccups involving the color of the floor and how the floor would stain, but joe did stay in communication with us. HOWEVER Joe is a yes man. He will yes you the death and then when you aren't satisfied he will say "I don't know what else there is to do." I asked for an even dark finish and many of the panels were different colors as you can see in the picture. I had another independent company and one of Joe's employees come look at the floor. Both stated that some steps were missed. The floors are scratching left and right and we will definitely have to get another company to redo the floors. In the end I paid Joe over $3,000 and said the job was fine because it was too much hassle to get him to take accountability. I waited a month just to see if the color would settle in but it didn't. I called joe one last time to get advice and see if there's anything we could do. His response "this doesn't concern me anymore and of course other companies would tell you the floors look bad." While some parts of the home look beautiful other parts look absolutely awful and with all of the scratches we will definitely need to redo the floors.

Jay refinished my floors back in April (this review is long overdue) and really did a great job…read more I'm extremely perfectionistic and would recommend him to anyone. He is reliable, knowledgeable, accommodating, and very reasonably priced. His calm, professional demeanor was very much appreciated during all the chaos of moving and coordinating the floor refinishing process. We did have a little issue with the poly in one area but Jay was so gracious in how he handled the situation. I did a TON of research and met with various flooring companies and took a chance on Jay based on the online reviews. (I was almost skeptical because his reviews are so good, but they are a true reflection of his work.) If you need your floors done, do yourself a favor and go with Jay!

I chose KO flooring after seeing samples of their work, responsiveness to my inquiry (Nick answered my message immediately and made himself available to come to my home asap), family run business, and their willingness to accommodate my needs as a pregnant mother with a toddler. Nick and his father are both lovely people and practice what they preach when it comes to the "old school" mentality of delivering quality work and ensuring client satisfaction. There was one thing I was unhappy with upon delivery of service and he sent a worker back to fix it. This act speaks volumes, not only to his character, but his dedication to ensuring a happy client for years to come. Being a part time designer I've had dealings with plenty of craftsman and can assure you this was an excellent experience. If I had to do it again, I'd hire KO Flooring.

I contracted with Nick at KO floors to install Red Oak hardwood but he installed White Oak instead…read more He did this without my consent. Red Oak was clearly in my contract and Nick knew the rest of the house was Red Oak. Now it does not match the rest of my Red Oak floors. When I asked him what happened he lied and told me it was a mistake by his distributor however I was informed by one of his employees that Nick used the White Oak wood cause he had it in stock and saved money. Not a nice thing to do to your customer who spent close to 20k with his company. So I would not recommend KO Flooring or Nick to anyone.
