Amazing people to deal with. I had tons of issue with my place and they helped me through the whole process. I pre-ordered my carpet expecting a quick install and had to wait 2 years because the closing of my place was delayed and they held the carpet for me and did the install after i finished renovations. Lovely people work there and some of the hardest working crew. the price was amazing for the quality of the carpet. it was soft and plush just like i wanted. I am very happy with Maximum Carpet in Lynbrook. I work long hours..the salesman was willing and able to meet me at my house at 6:30 to show me samples. He gave me a good price on a great product. On installation day, they were supposed to arrive at 9am, but I was told that my carpet wasn't ready. They apologized, knocked $50 off the price and arrived at 1pm. No big deal. Fantastic Experience! I had terrible parquet floors that were lifting from humidity. Because of my budget, I assumed I would have to go with something lesser priced. However, with Maximum Flooring I was able to get beautiful real wood floors at about 40% less than the quote given to me by another company for vinyl laminate flooring. This quote included removing the bad parquet. Max is a dream to work with. He arrived on time for our appointment, gave me an immediate estimate, and came prepared with samples for me to look at. Throughout the whole process, he always responded immediately to any questions or concerns I had along the way. I never waited to hear back from him. We scheduled the work, the guys came on time, and did a beautiful job. I have absolutely no complaints. My only regret is that I wish they were also general contractors. My husband and I were planning on using our Home Depot credit card to get it done, but we just wanted to see what someone else charged. Well... I told them I was just looking for an estimate, so a call was put out to Max to stop by our home and he got there before we did. We were going to buy our flooring at Lowe's or Home Depot but they never had samples that we could bring home and see how it went with our furniture. Out of desperation, we looked in the phone book and came across Maximum. We had just bought our house, second to buying our home, this was THE BEST decision we made! The flooring was priced on the lower end (woohoo!) and we ended up having them install it (after a bad contractor started the job but was doing terrible work). I STILL HAVE DAMAGED FLOORS AND THE OWNER HAS NEVER TRIED TO DO THE RIGHT THING. THERE ARE A NUMBER OF HONEST BUSINESSES IN LYNBROOK THAT DO THIS TYPE OF WORK - THIS ONE SHOULD BE AVOIDED. I am very disatisfied with the work that was done by this company. The owner is very friendly when you go in to make a purchase but double-talks a bit - told me one price and then charged extra on my card. He sold me an inferior product and he became extremely irate - literally screamed at me on the phone because I was unhappy with the work that was done in my home. He was more concerned that I told a family member that I was unhappy with the work that was done than that I was unhappy with the work that was done. Not only did the workmen leave a mess in my home and in my yard, the wood floors that were installed are damaged, there are numerous cracks, dents & in one place an actual piece of the wood is missing and he is refusing to make repairs. Wait, that's not exactly right - after forcing him to come to my home to look at the damaged floors he offered to come the next morning, I asked if he could come another day because I needed to arrange a day off of work. I called him back to offer him a couple of alternative dates he told me he'd check his schedule and I never heard from him again. read more
