Used to be a fan of this place but I have to say I'm pretty disappointed! They posted and sent out and circulated what I thought was a lovely gesture to the Brown community: a free small pizza with your ID. Today, 1/30, I called to ask about ordering ahead and they told me that they actually decided to stop offering this deal early, despite the listed end date being tomorrow. I feel like if you go out of your way to try to appear supportive of a community, you don't get to pull out halfway through. It's really expensive to eat here otherwise, it's like $18 for a pizza, and it's usually a little burnt. I think Antonio's does pizza better and certainly does it cheaper. read more

5/5 service 4/5 vibes inside 3/5 food been here a handful of times and servers are consistently helpful. came in most recently party of 8 and a high top chair for a kiddo, service was still 5/5. no complaints there. the vibe inside is good, it makes use of the awkwardly long space that it is. i like that you can see them cooking. the food is alright but keep in mind i dont eat gluten pizza. salads are pretty good but im coming here for a gluten free pizza, and usually leave wanting more. it's a thin hard store bought crust or store bought tasting crust. so i dont really like coming here for the food. usually its to make someone else happy and that person can have their dough, which they rave about. so do with that info what you will! read more

First time here. THEY HAVE A PARKING LOT, right off of Thayer! If you know, you know. I LOVED that lots of the menu items are organic/ quality items. Pizza could've baked a little more, was a little flimsy. Really loved the dressed salad and chicken. I do wish there was a bigger piece of brownie for the brownie sundae. Other than that, good eats. Delicious thin crust. We demolished our classic offerings. We also tried the house salad. There is only one. It was lightly dressed and fresh, but neither of us enjoyed the seaweed on top. Yes - you read that correctly, seaweed. Anyway, lovely beer and wine selections and all the regular non-alcoholic offerings. This has a wonderful college town atmosphere and attentive service. Order salad takes. 25 minutes to come out and I only get 30 Minutes for lunch. This was my first time at Flatbread in Providence. It is located off Thayer Street and there is a parking lot too. On a Friday evening, we were told it was going to be a 20 minute wait for a table for 2 people. However, there were some seats at the bar so we sat there. The bartender was very friendly. After a while, the bar area got crowded and then calmed down. There was also a party taking place in the back with a few tables. There are beers on tap and cocktails. I had the Downeast Winter Blend Cider and it was so great that I ordered two. We had the Jay's Heart which is their organic wood-fired cauldron organic tomato sauce, whole milk mozzarella, Parmesan cheese, homemade garlic oil and own blend of organic herbs. It was very tasty especially with added shredded parmesan cheese on top. For dessert, we had the Barbara's Homemade Brownie Sundae which was warmed in their wood-fired oven and served with ice cream, warm homemade chocolate sauce and whipped cream sweetened with maple syrup. We wished the brownie was warmer, but the outside was hard and the inside was a little soft so that was nice. There is an automatic addition of 2% kitchen appreciation fee to the food on the check. It was such a laid back, cool, and chill place to be at on a Friday night. I am looking forward to the next time I can visit Flatbread in Providence and try their other flatbreads. read more

My favorite pizza ever. I also love the North Conway location but I went to this one most recent. Although the service on that trip was not amazing I am not going to deduct stars because it is usually very good. I love the atmosphere as well because they have the pizza ovens right in the middle. The pizza here was so good. Honestly, I've never noticed it because it's behind CVS but they even have their own parking lot. The inside is way bigger than you think and the pizza is unreal. We went on a super cold day and the pizza ovens made it so warm and cozy inside, to the point we were even a little warm because we were sitting so close to it. I tried to reserve a table through Yelp, but I actually don't think they use that system and so you can just go inside and wait. We waited like 15 minutes and just sat at the bar and grabbed a drink. The service was incredible And the pizza was delicious. It's not a cheap pizza quick bite kind of restaurant. It's more of a sit in and stay of while kind of place. Will 100% come back. It was recommended to me by a friend who had visited their location in Maui. read more

We love Flatbread. We have been many times just for a meal, for charitable events, with friends. This last time we had the Mopsy's Kalua Pork Pie...made with slow cooked free-range pork shoulder, homemade organic mango BBQ sauce, organic red onions, fresh pineapple, Valley View Farm goat cheese, whole milk mozzarella, Parmesan cheese, garlic oil and a delicious herb mix. It was so tasty, the crust just slightly brown and crisp to the bite. A winner on my book, and my husband, who LOVES pizza ! The store is on a side street off Thayer with limited parking in its lot, but more street parking in the nearby streets. The staff is always very polite and friendly. A pleasure to do business with... Starting in 1998 in Amesbury, Massachusetts., the Flatbread Company has been baking deliciously tasting pizza. Highly recommend Flatbread in Providence! My girlfriend and I were blown away. We walked in at lunchtime on a Saturday and were seated right away. It's a huge space and it's cool to see the wood fire ovens working as you walk to your table. It was our first time at the restaurant, and our server (forgot the name, sorry!) walked us through the popular items on the menu and gave great recommendations. We went with the large Mopsie's Kalua pie and it did not disappoint! The mix of tangy bbq sauce, pork, and goat cheese work so well together, and the pineapple and onion gave it that familiar Hawaiian pizza flavor. The crust is also really high quality and benefits from the wood fire oven. We also asked for a side of ranch which had a lot of dill flavor and was perfect for dipping our crusts. Went there at 6:30 on Sunday 6/22 with my husband. Asked sit in a booth put us in front of restaurant crappy booth made of wood huge, made for more than six people in the sun. Had to sit on one side together back to sun We walk by nicer booths in room empty! Took twenty minutes to get service. Waiter finally came asked for waters and ice tea ask if they had anything other than plain he said no. We ordered our food. Got our drinks asked for sweetener said they only had sugar. I said you don't have anything like equal. No we only have sugar I said I will just drink it without anything Came back much later with sugar packets and equal(really??? This kid was working to room we were in and the middle room No other waitstaff???? Food was OK got pizza very skimpy on cheese and pesto mostly bread dough crust! Not worth twenty dollars! When we left I told the kid by the way you gave me equal he said that's sugar I said no it's sweetener! Don't know if he was new or overwhelmed with all his tables. When leaving in bar area waitstaff everywhere stand around doing nothing??? Really???? We went to the Flatbread place in NH much better they told us about the one in RI so we because we live there we figured we try it! Not going back not recommending this place not worth it! We are not from this area of country. Was not expecting to have KAF kitchen appreciation fee. I guess this is something with regional. Ordered lemonade to drink. Wasn't like any lemonade I've had before. And I know that isn't regional because of Del's lemonade we had earlier. So if you can get what you ordered pizza was good.
