Great pizza, top notch staff, and the fastest internet I've ever seen in a restaurant!

Used to be a fan of this place but I have to say I'm pretty disappointed! They posted and sent out and circulated what I thought was a lovely gesture to the Brown community: a free small pizza with your ID. Today, 1/30, I called to ask about ordering ahead and they told me that they actually decided to stop offering this deal early, despite the listed end date being tomorrow. I feel like if you go out of your way to try to appear supportive of a community, you don't get to pull out halfway through. It's really expensive to eat here otherwise, it's like $18 for a pizza, and it's usually a little burnt. I think Antonio's does pizza better and certainly does it cheaper. read more

Back again for a pizza after the nearby movie. The small mushroom and bacon pizza was very good, as was the small salad. Just right for the two of us. To accompany this we had a Blue Mojito and a Maine Beer. The check came to $60. We added well deserved good tip. Our server, Sheila, was pleasant and attentive. 5/5 service 4/5 vibes inside 3/5 food been here a handful of times and servers are consistently helpful. came in most recently party of 8 and a high top chair for a kiddo, service was still 5/5. no complaints there. the vibe inside is good, it makes use of the awkwardly long space that it is. i like that you can see them cooking. the food is alright but keep in mind i dont eat gluten pizza. salads are pretty good but im coming here for a gluten free pizza, and usually leave wanting more. it's a thin hard store bought crust or store bought tasting crust. so i dont really like coming here for the food. usually its to make someone else happy and that person can have their dough, which they rave about. so do with that info what you will! read more

The woodfired pizzas are amazing! We've tried the North Conway NH location and the Providence, RI location. Both places had great friendly service and I love the ambience. Best part is my daughter, who has a peanut & tree nut allergy can safety eat there. It's hard to find restaurants where she can eat anything she wants off the menu. read more

Daughters last day, moving out of school. Stopped in for lunch. Pizza is amazing! I got Mopsy's Kaluha pie with chicken. Really tasty. Daughter got the potato pie no bacon, one of her favorites. Husband got peperton also a great pie. Highly recommend stopping in when you're in the area. Our waiter John was very attentive, checked on us to make sure we were happy. First time here. THEY HAVE A PARKING LOT, right off of Thayer! If you know, you know. I LOVED that lots of the menu items are organic/ quality items. Pizza could've baked a little more, was a little flimsy. Really loved the dressed salad and chicken. I do wish there was a bigger piece of brownie for the brownie sundae. Other than that, good eats. The pizza is made right in front of you, from start to finish, which is cool. Very spacious inside, loved the aesthetic in here. Lots of different, size inclusive seating options. read more

Delicious thin crust. We demolished our classic offerings. We also tried the house salad. There is only one. It was lightly dressed and fresh, but neither of us enjoyed the seaweed on top. Yes - you read that correctly, seaweed. Anyway, lovely beer and wine selections and all the regular non-alcoholic offerings. This has a wonderful college town atmosphere and attentive service. This was my first time at Flatbread in Providence. It is located off Thayer Street and there is a parking lot too. On a Friday evening, we were told it was going to be a 20 minute wait for a table for 2 people. However, there were some seats at the bar so we sat there. The bartender was very friendly. After a while, the bar area got crowded and then calmed down. There was also a party taking place in the back with a few tables. There are beers on tap and cocktails. I had the Downeast Winter Blend Cider and it was so great that I ordered two. We had the Jay's Heart which is their organic wood-fired cauldron organic tomato sauce, whole milk mozzarella, Parmesan cheese, homemade garlic oil and own blend of organic herbs. It was very tasty especially with added shredded parmesan cheese on top. For dessert, we had the Barbara's Homemade Brownie Sundae which was warmed in their wood-fired oven and served with ice cream, warm homemade chocolate sauce and whipped cream sweetened with maple syrup. We wished the brownie was warmer, but the outside was hard and the inside was a little soft so that was nice. There is an automatic addition of 2% kitchen appreciation fee to the food on the check. It was such a laid back, cool, and chill place to be at on a Friday night. I am looking forward to the next time I can visit Flatbread in Providence and try their other flatbreads. read more

Tried to order just a salad for lunch . Ordering when they open at 11:45 online still says 12:15 pick up so I go in to the store. Order salad takes. 25 minutes to come out and I only get 30 Minutes for lunch. Should have just left it there because now it will go to waste as I am unable to eat it on the power walk back from lunch. Needless to say won't be coming back for lunch again anytime soon read more

The pizza here was so good. Honestly, I've never noticed it because it's behind CVS but they even have their own parking lot. The inside is way bigger than you think and the pizza is unreal. We went on a super cold day and the pizza ovens made it so warm and cozy inside, to the point we were even a little warm because we were sitting so close to it. I tried to reserve a table through Yelp, but I actually don't think they use that system and so you can just go inside and wait. We waited like 15 minutes and just sat at the bar and grabbed a drink. The service was incredible And the pizza was delicious. It's not a cheap pizza quick bite kind of restaurant. It's more of a sit in and stay of while kind of place. Will 100% come back. It was recommended to me by a friend who had visited their location in Maui. read more

We love Flatbread. We have been many times just for a meal, for charitable events, with friends. This last time we had the Mopsy's Kalua Pork Pie...made with slow cooked free-range pork shoulder, homemade organic mango BBQ sauce, organic red onions, fresh pineapple, Valley View Farm goat cheese, whole milk mozzarella, Parmesan cheese, garlic oil and a delicious herb mix. It was so tasty, the crust just slightly brown and crisp to the bite. A winner on my book, and my husband, who LOVES pizza ! The store is on a side street off Thayer with limited parking in its lot, but more street parking in the nearby streets. The staff is always very polite and friendly. A pleasure to do business with... Starting in 1998 in Amesbury, Massachusetts., the Flatbread Company has been baking deliciously tasting pizza. Bar service was friendly with a very robust bar and beer selection. I made my own Flatbread which was pepperoni and cheese with tomatoes . Pizza came out piping hot , fresh and cooked to perfection . This time around, I ordered take out pizza! This experience was new and please. I order one large and one small mushroom and pepperoni pizza for the family right after a beach day. Ordering online was simple and easy, and upon pick up, I noticed something very nifty and pleasant ! Highly recommend Flatbread in Providence! My girlfriend and I were blown away. We walked in at lunchtime on a Saturday and were seated right away. It's a huge space and it's cool to see the wood fire ovens working as you walk to your table. It was our first time at the restaurant, and our server (forgot the name, sorry!) walked us through the popular items on the menu and gave great recommendations. We went with the large Mopsie's Kalua pie and it did not disappoint! The mix of tangy bbq sauce, pork, and goat cheese work so well together, and the pineapple and onion gave it that familiar Hawaiian pizza flavor. The crust is also really high quality and benefits from the wood fire oven. We also asked for a side of ranch which had a lot of dill flavor and was perfect for dipping our crusts. Had a bad experience the first night with burnt pizza but they were extremely apologetic and helpful with making it right! Have been there twice since and the pizzas are delicious and perfectly cooked! Great atmosphere and people! Ample outside seating and good heat lamps; indoor seating was well socially distanced. My husband and I split a large Pepperoni & Mushroom pizza which was a reasonable amount of food. The pizza crust was thin and crispy, and overall the pizza was very flavorful. They're using the parking lot for extra outdoor seating, but we were easily able to find street parking nearby.
