On our way back to the car after stopping into Frog and Toad we stumbled across another frozen dessert spot, and decided we'd enjoyed ice cream every day of the trip, why not one more time! We were greeted upon entry and quickly offered samples of any flavors we may be interested in. We'd seen the sign out front noting "dairy free" and "gluten free options", thinking "dairy free", also meant options, but to our surprise after sampling a few flavors, we realized everything they offered was dairy free. It wasn't entirely obvious from the flavor, it still tasted good, maybe not as creamy as ice cream, but still good. Craving something more fruity/tropical I went with the "orange creamsicle", which actually used coconut as the base. It was good, maybe not as orangey as I was hoping, but still tasty and refreshing after being out in the heat.

I sampled all four soft serve flavors, plus the peanut butter cookie dough and birthday cake ice cream flavors. I was going to get a unicorn (blizzard), but settled on the pb cookie dough. One of the best vegan ice creams I've ever had! I also got a vegan hostess cupcake to go.

Between our family's food allergies and lactose intolerance, I'm always happy to find a vegan ice cream spot. Like No Udder shares a space in a strip mall (with a small parking lot), and they have both soft serve and scooped ice cream. We got one medium and one kiddie size, and between those, tried three flavors - cookies and cream, key lime, and strawberry. The ice cream was good, but you could tell that it was non-dairy ice cream, as it's not quite as rich, and you can taste that the bases aren't dairy milk. Fine with me though because I'd rather not have to take lactase for ice cream!

Cute little area on Hope st. Stopped in for an ice cream treat, not totally realizing all their options were dairy free. It was good! I tried a couple options, on their double ended spoons! And finally settled on the magic bar- took me back to my favorite Xmas cookie! Fun little stop! Nice mural on the wall and friendly staff!

Love this place SO much. If I could give a thousand stars.... *chefs kiss* thank you to the woman who served me the day I went in last week. She made it extra special for me. Absolute peach, I feel bad, I don't remember her name!! Anyway I went in for the first time this season, very overwhelmed by the beautiful new building, soaking in the ambiance, and trying to figure out what I wanted. I'm quite indecisive and I couldn't muster up what I wanted so I gave her the ultimate responsibility.... DEALER'S CHOICE! Haha She asked if I had any allergies, or preferences on flavor. I explain I'm not allergic to anything at all and I LOVE everything. I mentioned I'm a huge fan of funky flavor combinations. My friend ordered his ice cream, I paid, and wasn't paying attention to what she grabbed for me. She then hands me this beautiful concoction that she called "the illegal scoop" -because technically you're not supposed to do this but she mixed three flavors into the one scoop! IT WAS AMAZING! I hope this review doesn't get her in trouble, in fact... she should have a raise! It really made my day and made me feel super special. Cherry Garcia, Cookies N' Cream, Vanilla Coconut..... it was absolutely phenomenal.

Legendary New England vegan ice cream shop now located in a new spot just 4 miles from the MA border in a shared space with another amazing and independently owned vegan business, Providence Vegan Deli (PVDeli). I tried some of the regular flavors today which were delicious but decided to go with the old classic soft serve vanilla.

Lovely ice cream sandwich. Loved the texture of the ice cream. And the crispness of the cookies that flanked the sweet yummy center. The mint notes were very good and the overall ice cream experience was rich and creamy. A great vegan choice !!

Like No Udder sells vegan soft serve ice cream. Though I am not vegan, their ice cream is always good. I've had their Thai iced tea prior. I was excited to see Like No Udder as a stop for the 6th Annual Search for the Best Scoop Shop RI with RI Food Fights. This time I had their Coconut Lace ice cream. It is coconut ice cream with chocolate flakes. It was really yummy. I like the consistency and texture of the ice cream. Service is always good and quick. Looking forward to trying their other flavors.

I wanted to try Like No Udder's ice cream as they come as the best top vegan ice cream place in various polls, year after year. They offer several flavors and all the possible toppings you find at a regular diary serving ice cream place. They had a tiny size option which was perfect for my some of my family members who had a heavy lunch. I opted for a 2 scoops size which was decent and the ice creams (almond joy & coconut lace) tasted delicious. The price was not bad considering their popularity. The staff was super friendly and sweet.

The staff was so pleasant. I was amazed by the variety of flavors! I asked for a sample and was told the sample side was double so I could try 2. The service was very tentional. I did not feel rushed would definitely go again! Delicious

fun fact, you're actually better off eating foods that are the same temperature as outside to regulate your body! so i enjoy ice cream in the cold, especially this ice cream. i should not consume dairy and should not consume gluten (emphasis on should), so this place is a haven. everything is vegan and most of it is gluten free. came on the weekend before christmas and had the most wonderful service trying a bunch of flavors. i tried the tart strawberry, the eggnog, the candy cane, and lemon bar. all of them were so good but then i noticed soft serve dispensers and they have the traditional vanilla and chocolate. but i saw next to it that they have matcha and mint and you can get them in a swirl. i tried that and was sold. it tastes like peppermint candy cane tea sweetened. i could not believe it was vegan. i was even more delighted to learn i could get a gluten free wafer cone or gf sugar cone. it was like all the childhood nostalgia with all the flavor and none of the tummy ache. i also like this hope st location because you can sit inside casually before continuing on.

They have a huge selection of flavors, and every time we go in I end up standing there longer than I planned because there are so many tempting choices. It's the kind of problem every ice cream shop should have. The ice cream itself is outstanding. It's fresh, creamy, and packed with flavor without feeling overly heavy. Every flavor we've tried has been excellent, and it's easy to see why this place has developed such a loyal following. In my opinion, it's the best ice cream on the East Side. Just be prepared to wait if you're stopping by on a nice evening. The shop is fairly small inside, and it's not uncommon for the line to stretch right out the front door. Thankfully, the staff keeps things moving, and the wait has always been worth it. The prices are reasonable, especially considering the quality of the ice cream and the generous portions. Parking can be a little hit or miss since it's mostly street parking, although there are a handful of spaces behind the building. Somehow we've been lucky the last few visits and managed to grab a spot right out front, even when there was a long line. The only reason I'm giving four stars instead of five is because the small space and limited parking can make visiting during peak hours a little less convenient. Once you have your ice cream, though, it's hard to complain. If you're looking for fantastic homemade ice cream in Providence, Three Sisters absolutely deserves a visit. Just bring a little patience if you're going on a warm summer evening.

After placing our order, an employee asked what other dessert we might have chosen. My partner said mint chocolate chip, and the employee surprised us with two mini mint chocolate chip sandwiches on the house. We took our treats to a nearby park. They were very cold (in a good way), and we were advised to wait a few minutes before eating them, which was perfect since it was such a hot day. We didn't talk at all while eating our ice cream sandwiches , they were that good. It's also great to know they offer catering. A must try spot. The banana pudding sandwich was my favorite - I couldn't believe how good it was.

The menu is drawn onto a chalkboard and does list all the flavors and toppings in each one. I chose the red velvet ice cream sandwich this time which had red velvet ice cream swirled with cream cheese frosting stuffed between two chocolate cookies and partially dipped in white chocolate coated with cookie crumbs. They do tell you to wait about 10 minutes before eating it since they are really frozen, so in that time, my friend and I drove to the pedestrian bridge to eat our ice cream by the river. I wish the cookie could be soft, since it does make biting into a little tricky in the beginning. They had a slightly dark chocolate flavor with a hint of saltiness. The ice cream was really good, but the frosting made it even better. I thought it was the white chocolate dip that was added the additional creamy and sweet goodness but it was the frosting the whole time. I enjoyed everything about this flavor. My friend got the chocolate taco. I am personally not a fan of chocolate ice cream, but it was still decent to me. The toppings of shaved coconut and nuts was tasty.
