They also serve breakfast on the weekends. The bar offers a few beers on tap and cans and mixed drinks. There is seating around the bar, table seating and booths overlooking the golf course. I took a seat up at the bar and started out with water, which was a bottle of Poland Spring ($1.50) served with a glass of ice. I ordered the Fish & Chips ($14.99 plus tax) which took about 22 minutes to come out. The plate was comprised of a large crispy deep fried beer battered cod filet, standard fries, tartar sauce, and a cup of sweet coke slaw (wet texture), malt vinegar and ketchup bottles brought over. The food was a bit greasy, but it tasted just fine. After I was done, I requested the check which was $17.69 with tax and before tip. Overall, a good filling lunch and adequate bar service.

You wouldn't have been able to tell the difference from them vs a small restaurant in a city. TV, lights, posters and everything anything restaurant that you expect was there...except for the chairs this particular night. I'm guessing they removed it to better handle crowds coming through...after all, too many people dining there, lining up, and trying to order food is a classic fire hazard 101 within such a small space. I am glad to have a chance to visit this time around. I've been wanting to try it for the longest time since seeing it on Man vs Food. However, I don't know why but I just wasn't craving a burger in the moment. Maybe if I did order the burger, this would have ended up as a 5-star review based on how most people rave about it. But for now, I'll glad to still say that I'm a true fan. The Haven Dog with celery salt was simple and a quick fixer-upper for anyone slightly hungry in the moment. It was a Saturday evening and when we arrived, it was pretty empty, but after 30 minutes, all the tables outside were filled. They have done a good job of decorating their outdoor space since the last time I was there and it also appears they've expanded their parking lot by a couple spaces which was very helpful on days like this (but street parking is also available). We ordered two birria tacos, one tripe taco, one chicken taco, and a chicken burrito. It did take a while for the food to come out, but the flavors made us forget about the painful wait. My least favorite was the birria tacos. They were different from other birria tacos I've had in that the meat had a red seasoning instead of being brown. It was oily, so nothing out of the ordinary in that regard. But it wasn't grilled flat which was a little bit of a bummer since it meant the cheese wasn't grilled to a crisp on the edges. The tripe taco was unique in that the tripe was baked or fried; crispy and light. The filling in the chicken burrito - rice, beans, chicken - were lighter in color than what I was expecting, but that did not take away from how good it was, albeit a tad salty. The beans were refried rather than whole which I personally liked since it had it easier to chew. Besides the long wait, we enjoyed all the food and the chill ambiance.
