They have done a good job of decorating their outdoor space since the last time I was there and it also appears they've expanded their parking lot by a couple spaces which was very helpful on days like this (but street parking is also available). We ordered two birria tacos, one tripe taco, one chicken taco, and a chicken burrito. It did take a while for the food to come out, but the flavors made us forget about the painful wait. My least favorite was the birria tacos. They were different from other birria tacos I've had in that the meat had a red seasoning instead of being brown. It was oily, so nothing out of the ordinary in that regard. But it wasn't grilled flat which was a little bit of a bummer since it meant the cheese wasn't grilled to a crisp on the edges. The tripe taco was unique in that the tripe was baked or fried; crispy and light. The filling in the chicken burrito - rice, beans, chicken - were lighter in color than what I was expecting, but that did not take away from how good it was, albeit a tad salty. The beans were refried rather than whole which I personally liked since it had it easier to chew. Besides the long wait, we enjoyed all the food and the chill ambiance.

About 10 minutes after our cards were run, a man named Pablo, whom was identified to be the manager, whom provided poor customer service, brought our receipts. He placed them in front of us while continuing his conversation with other customers, without acknowledging us or asking about our experience. When we explained our concerns, he became defensive, dismissed them as "our perception," and did not give us an opportunity to finish speaking. He walked away and repeatedly returned to ask whether we wanted something, in a tone we found rude and confrontational. Even the customer beside us noticed and encouraged him to simply apologize. His response was, "I am not saying sorry." He ultimately asked us to leave before we had finished even half of our drinks. Despite the poor service, I still left an 18% tip. I cannot speak to anyone's intentions, but we left feeling singled out, dismissed, and unwelcome. We never disrespected him, only expressed our dissatisfaction and then asked to leave. A respectful response to our concerns could have made a difference. Instead, the way the situation was handled made an already disappointing experience worse. I will not be returning.
