They gave you this cute little cleaver to "redeem" your ice cream after you paid your bill.

Found this restaurant 11 mins walk from our hotel. No reservations had to wait for 50 mins which we were glad we did. We ordered their signature flat iron steak and wagyu of the day. Both were decent size and decent taste but the price was surprisingly good for the ambience and service. Value for money! Oh, did I mention they provide free popcorns after they seat you at your table and the best part, free ice cream which was yum! Highly recommend this place.

I got the flat iron steak medium rare with the peppercorn sauce and shared three sides with my group. The standout was the truffle mac & cheese for sure. Everything was good, but the steak was chewy and lacked some flavor. The price is really good though for the amount you're getting. The ambiance is aesthetic and lively and the service was great. The bartenders working tonight were so friendly and helpful! Overall great time!

They don't have a variety of choices but everything they have is excellent and delicious. I got to try the wagyu flat steaks and it was so flavorful. You did not need to have any sauce with it at all. Also ordered hot fresh fries. At the end you're given a cute cleaver charm that you can trade in for soft serve ice cream. Such a cute place. I hope to come back someday.

We came here after a long day and were met with a 45-minute wait. We walked around by the river before returning a few minutes early and were, luckily, able to be seated. We both got the steak, which was incredible for the price point. It was a hefty serving given the price, and definitely filled me up. My dad needed a side to feel more full, but was still a great deal nonetheless. I got a peppercorn sauce with mine and found it was a little runny for my liking, but it had great flavor. Per European tradition, service was a little hard to track down so we waited a while longer than we hoped to pay the check. The complimentary ice cream at the end was the best part- very similar to a custard in the thickness and creaminess with a great vanilla flavor and a decent cone.

Steaks were so good and affordable. Had to wait for an hour but it was well worth it. Steaks were tender, flavorful and oh so affordable for being in London. Steaks price range was from £15 to -£25. We also got their mashed potatoes and side salad both were equally delicious! The place was unexpectedly decorated well and the place was huge and busy but the service was good!

We loved it, great space for our party of 9. Steak was prepared perfectly. At the end of dinner, they give you steak tokens that you can exchange for ice cream.

This was our second trip to restaurant while in London. Once again a smashing delight. The price is right, steaks are delicious and the cocktails flavorful. The waitress was attentive and cheerful This place is hard to get a reservation after 4 PM. Plan ahead and book it in advance.

Great steak for the price. Loved the truffle mac and cheese and mashed potatoes as well. Fast service and nice dimly lit (if a bit busy) atmosphere. Also gives free ice cream at the end which is a nice touch.

Food: Flat Iron Steak Read a lot of great reviews about the Flat Irons, and wasn't too disappointed! Came here and tried the classic steak they have, which was simple and yummy. They slice it up beforehand so it makes the eating experience easy and smooth. Heads up that another location has a cool deal where you can get a free ice cream or pin with a steak purchase, which this location didn't have when I visited.

I would give this place 3.5 stars. It is a quite nice place and rather cheap but quality is not great. I had their flagship steak which was cooked fine but the meat had quite some nerves. The price of the meat was low (GBP 11) but sides are way over-priced as GBP 3 for half tomato sliced is quite a joke. Service is friendly but not that quick or attentive (I was asked if I wanted ketchup or mayo but I didn't get them...).

Excellent steak. No-nonsense menu. Friendly staff. A favorite touch: "the popcorn isn't vegetarian, and neither is the steak."

And for the quality of food you get, I think this place is reasonably priced. The restaurant is not far from Old Street station and has a pub feel, but slightly more refined. The staff was really friendly, attentive and knowledgeable on the menu. I highly recommend a reservation though as even when we came here on a Monday night, it was busy. I don't think you can go wrong with almost anything on the menu. Everything we had was delicious, and you can tell the chef's really know how and understand how to cook and flavor meat to perfection. The most surprising item though, is the White Chocolate Cheesecake. It is served out of a dish, tiramisu style, and is one of the best desserts I have had in a while. It was not too rich but so flavorful. So when you come here, make sure to save room for dessert!

The host was friendly and hospitable and made small talk as she led us to our table upstairs. They had a great, spacious bar downstairs as well that was appealing. It has a cozy and modern feel to it with the unique metal chain window 'curtains', pipe style light chandeliers, church pew style or padded booths as well as table and bar seating. They have a huge deer made out of pennies as decor above the entrance as well as a bull decopaged with paper bills upstairs. The upstairs overlooks the lower floor in a balcony style. I appreciated the view to outside with the 20 foot windows below. Perfect for my first people watching experience in London. We were greeted from our server right away and she made wine and cocktail recommendations to start. We had a burger from the main course as well as scallops and the salmon three ways from the starters. The burger was generous, very juicy and flavorful. Would recommend and try this again. The scallops were a decent size and came four to an order. The salmon trio was great. One was like a butter salmon you could put on the bread, the second a small piece of raw salmon and the third more like a salmon spread. Overall, great atmosphere, service and food. I would recommend them!

Its next to the Sky Garden so we were able to hang out there, grab some drinks, and enjoy the beautiful skyline views until our reservation at Blacklock - they let us in pretty early since we were really tired and wanted to get back to the hotel sooner We eventually get seated, place is packed and lively. We got the All in sunday roast consisting of pork, beef, lamb, grilled carrots, potatoes, greens, and Yorkshire pudding. Its served with refillable gravy and an assortment of sauces. The gravy was one of the best ive had! Pork and lamb were pretty fatty which i prefer. Potatoes were nice but skin was pretty chewy, hard to cut through as they were pretty big pieces. Thought there was way too much pudding and not enough meat as we got dinner for 4 - its 28 pounds pp for one plate full, which felt pretty pricey for what we got Overall the roast was good and was a new experience. The cheesecake was interesting as well - the crust wasnt really a crust, moreso a separate biscuit layer with the cheese filling spread on top. I typically am not the biggest fan of cheesecake but this is more of a preferable variation for me Originally thought we were getting bad service but soon realized as an american that this is the culture here lol - yes the place was really busy but we learned that in London (and Europe in general) your meal is relaxed and theyre a lot more hands off. You need to cue staff for everything so it felt a bit off putting to constantly ask for water and gravy refills, dessert order, and the check in that busy environment. But its part of the etiquette I suppose, so expect to need to do that and to potentially account for a bit of extra time spent

However, it was a whopping 93 GBP for 600g, which is meant to share between 2 people, but still not that much (refer to my pic). This is simply just too high of a price for this. Bone marrow and onions (12 GBP) - This was surprisingly good. Although the marrow itself didn't have much of a flavor, it was a nice buttery consistency to spread on the bread. The onions were cooked very well. Sticky Toffee Pudding (9.50 GBP) - This was more of a bread like dessert than a pudding, but was tasty and not overly sweet despite the toffee (which is good). The staff are very friendly, helpful, and attentive. The service speed is pretty quick. The interior is decorated in a nice yet not too pretentious steakhouse style. There were still plenty of open tables available on a Sunday night. Overall, while the steak and food are very good, the steak is simply too overpriced to justify me getting it again. Maybe worth trying once but not twice. I would potentially come back for the other menu options though.

We had zero expectations, but ended up having what might be our favorite meal of the whole trip. The staff? Absolute gems -- especially patient with us Texans who came armed with 400 questions (bless them). The restaurant's tucked downstairs, and here's a tip: book bar seating. Not at the bar, but in the room with the bar. It's cozier, prettier, and avoids the more standard dining space. The vibe? Understated elegance. Think cozy meets classy without any of the snobbery. Now, let's talk food. The Yorkshire pudding was no slouch, but the vegetarian Wellington--oh man. I was fully prepared to mourn the absence of beef, but it turns out blasphemy tastes incredible. Rich, flavorful, and completely unexpected. My jaw said "wow" before my brain could form a sentence. Would we go back? In a heartbeat.
