Cons: shabby decorations (we had a poster from 2000 in our room), blinds kept falling down which made it hard to access the balcony, insufficient outlets for modern electronics (2 outlets for the whole room), limited hot water in the bathroom (I had to take a cold shower), our tub didn't drain well, no breakfast provided, no elevator serving our side of the building, the hotel lobby is only open 7 am -10 pm (which meant that I couldn't get coffee before we left for the day, even though they provide it in the lobby), one paid washer and dryer which made the process longer. I enjoyed the downtown area, but this hotel wasn't worth the price.

It was definitely more on the expensive side but the whole area was expensive to begin with. Had a pool, laundry room, etc. It was near the town enough where everything was walkable. We got two rooms, 202 and 204, both identical. Our room did smell like wet dog upon walking in but after airing it out and turning on the air it went away. Inside had the normal fridge, microwave, cups/mugs, you name it. Also had the body wash, shampoo, conditioner inside, lotion, inside that was provided to you. My only complaint was the chairs, they only had stools to sit on, and the other weird chair wasn't too sturdy. But overall, I thought this place was convenient, comfortable, and pretty good. They even give you earplugs in the room if you needed them. Seems like a lot of people are complaining about the noise and thin walls but it didn't bother me too much.

It was certainly a warmer place than we had been laying our heads so we were appreciative of many of the amenities. They have onsite laundry for your smelly clothes or if you want to get caught up with laundry before getting home to unpack. Let it be known that it is $10.00 PER LOAD -$5 wash/$5 dry. The walls and ceiling are incredibly thin. They do provide cute notes and ear plugs to overcome this objective. It was tolerable for us but be aware. You will hear your neighbors. Superb location. Quick walk (5-10 min) to many great spots around Jackson. Super quick walk to Pearl St Bagels. In room coffee station did not include any tea options. Overall decent room for value.

Isaiah greeted us at the valet, welcomed us, took our keys and luggage, and told us to go check in and he would take care of everything and meet us at our room. What a great first impression! The lady who checked us in then personally walked us to our room, showed us its features, and told us about the coffee bar, spa, outdoor seating areas, and everything the hotel had to offer. That level of personal service continued throughout our stay. Every employee was friendly, welcoming, and constantly asking if there was anything they could do for us. Our room and beds were great, and we loved the coffee bar just outside our room. The outdoor areas were beautiful, especially the peaceful mountain-view area near the stream and the larger rooftop deck with the fireplace and fire pit. The location is fantastic--only about a block from Jackson's Town Square, so we could walk almost everywhere. Beautiful hotel, great location, comfortable rooms, but what really sets the Rusty Parrot apart is the people and the service. First class all the way around. We will definitely stay here again!

We go hiking in the perfect Tetons and come back about five hours later. Thankfully the room is ready, but I'm pretty sure the floor would've been a more comfortable place to lay. I've also stayed in nicer dorm rooms than this place. It was cinder block walls, with one TINY window and two other boarded up windows. A TV that worked (I was surprised by that) and the worlds smallest bathroom. When I say on the edge of the bed I was pretty sure the bed was going to fold up around me. When we went to bed, it was a miracle we could fall asleep. You could feel if the other person blinked. Luckily, being exhausted helped me fall asleep, but not stay there.
