The best deal here is their meal deals. You get garlic rolls, salad, potato or rice, choice of multiple entrees and a drink (can even get wine or draft beer with it). The ribs are really good and so is the prime rib. My husband and I can easily share a dinner. It is fun to sit at the bar, the bartenders really hustle here and they are usually crowded during happy hour. They have different food specials every night, so check their website for the special for that day. Happy hour is awesome and they serve good drinks. We have eaten at this Flanigan's and the one in Coconut Grove. The food is pretty consistent between the two. Give them a try! read more

I think you have to review a place based on what it is and not what it isn't. Flanigans seafood grill and bar wants to be those things... but it's really just a bar with really good "bar food" Their stickers are buffalo style chicken fingers and they'rw done well. The tuna hoagie is inventive and good. If you arw in need of some greasy bar food this is a wonderful place. If you're looking for a nice seafood restaurant... Go elsewhere. read more

We had a group of 15 and the staff was immediately accompanying. Service was fast and friendly. Many house specialities on the menu. Happy hour drink prices are VERY reasonable. Our fav place for ribs and corn beef on St. pat's but ordered Shrimp pesto that was terrible. Lots of oil and dried basil . Not to mention our waitress never checked back with us to even ask us if everything was okay, needed another beverage. It took me a long time to understand that most people don't go to Flanigans to eat. For some reason all I heard about Flannigans was - Tim, you need to try the ribs, you need to try the desert, you need to try the rolls, they are out of this world. Well, I don't know what world the rolls are from but I sure don't want them in mine, every time I ate anything at the place I ended up with stomach issues. I actually don't know why, food doesn't look too bad when served, may be it's the oil, or something in the water, I honestly don't know. What I do know now is that most folks go to Flannigans to drink, I think pretty much everything at the bar could be had for half the price at all times of the day, there is always a promotion of sorts and happy hour lasts for most of the day. It is not a bad place, it has a great atmosphere and is almost always packed with people, the memorabilia on walls is obviously ersatz but interesting, the xmass lights are lit year-round, the wait staff is very friendly and helpful; as long as you don't have expectations about the food you will do all right. read more

I really like this restaurant! On our last visit, my kid had a pasta dish, my wife had a salmon dish, and I had the ribs. All three meals were really good. Their ribs are amazing, actually the best ribs I have eaten in a restaurant. I see alot of references to this place being a bar. We usually eat a little earlier than most (about 5-6pm) so I don't know what the place is like later in the evenings, but its just a really good family restaurant for lunch and dinner. I was a little skeptical about coming to this Flanigans as my boo and I are regulars at the one in Hallandale: good service and food. We went to another in Davie off of University as the vibe at the bar was odd (will be reviewing soon). So coming to this location we were hungry after a long trip back from Orlando, plus it was raining. While my babe went to find parking I immediately walked up to the bar from which I found 2 seats. Within seconds Christine one of the bartenders already welcoming and introduced herself to me. I was like "whoa" in my head. Already a good sign. After explaining to me about the menu and specials I already told her that I was familiar with the menu and we both laughed. After my boo came by we both ordered one of our usual regular items: he with the Mahi Sandwich, Blackened. And me with a Caesar's Salad and 5 chicken wings. While waiting for our food and looking around the bar, we can see that some of the patrons are regulars and already enjoying the vibe. Also observing how Christine and Jason (super nice as well) were behind the counter whom were fast and efficient. After everything was all and done, we left the bar with smiles and handshakes from the bartenders and a couple of patrons from which we ended up chit chatting with. Very upsetting. April 9th I took my mother out to have her birthday dinner here. She ordered her wine and when I ordered my beer and handed the waitress my ID, she looked at it, looked me up and down as if unsure it was actually me, went to a manager and came back to inform me that I was not to be served alcohol because my ID was bent. Not cracked, not expired, not hard to read in anyway, and still refused. The manager said the same thing. I'm a 24 year old bartender at the airport and I have never heard in my life to not serve someone just because their ID is bent. We planned this birthday dinner for a month and were extremely upset we had to go somewhere else. As expected, my ID was acceptable elsewhere l, as it always is. We moved down to Florida and stayed at the hotel adjacent to this restaurant. We went and had a salmon sandwich with some "famous" wings. The wings were overpriced and almost one of the worst we have ever had. We said never again but we're hungry late the next night so figured maybe they can't screw up appetizers.... well we were wrong. The mozzarella sticks were the worst we have ever encountered. 3 stars is being nice here. Beer was cold, which sounds simple but you would be surprised at some places. Dont get the nachos, just a mountain of chips with minimal toppings. Wings are very good and huge, best I have had down south, Ive been to Buffalo countless times Hostess was not attentive and unorganized, the speaker to hear your table was broken I ordered a burger medium well and it was rare, manager tried to tell me they dont have many callbacks, however I saw cold soup and fries returned from another table. Sat down and all of the staff still have dirty masks on. That the first red flag. Then we got potato skins, asked for extra sour cream and never got it. Asked for salt and pepper never got it, had to ask the buss boy for salt and pepper. Keep in mind they were not busy we went in between lunch and dinner. Then, got a Caesar salad for lunch. Maybe it was a rare off night Saturday but we were very disappointed. We brought some friends from out of town who had never been to a Flanigans. We've been many many times and no matter what you order, everything is good. Not this time. Watery clam chowder, fried shrimp that tasted like the frozen ones from the grocery store, tasteless Prime rib, etc. etc. It wasn't bad enough to send back, but the table next to us sent a couple of dishes back. Visited from out of town. We were directed there by another restaurant whose kitchen had closed, as we had a toddler with us and it was late. Best decision. Told the manager how it was, told him it was like eating a piece of shoe leather... His answer was ,,, Well its usda choice,,,,,Never offered a discount on the tab or a coupon for the next visit. The only criticism I can give them is that in the bar, they ring a bell (one would think someone bought a round for the bar) - no, the bell is wrung for a large tip - I have never heard of such a thing - tip me large and I'll ring a bell.
