I've been going to this location, as well as the West Palm location, for many years--ever since my husband first introduced me. It used to be one of our go-to date night spots, though now that we've moved to Port St. Lucie, it's not quite as convenient to get to either location. That said, this spot does have a pretty large bar with excellent bartenders and consistently great service. Since we don't have kids, we always prefer sitting at the bar--it's just a more fun experience and, honestly, closer access to the drinks doesn't hurt. The atmosphere is always lively, and I especially love that this location has a real aquarium with fish in it, unlike the one off Southern. My main issue, though, has been the food--specifically the seafood. I've found that the fish never tastes fresh, and I've had enough experiences with it coming out a bit off or smelly that I now avoid ordering it altogether. Instead, I stick to what I know works: the 10 wings, peel-and-eat shrimp, and of course, the steakhouse soup. You really can't go wrong with those. The chicken Caesar salad is another safe choice I'll go with from time to time. They also run daily specials on drinks, which is a nice perk. Depending on the day, you can order certain menu items and get a free pitcher of beer, iced tea, or whatever floats your boat. They even have a booklet that outlines which specials are available each day, which is helpful. Overall, this place is a lot of fun, especially for the bar atmosphere and service. While I'm not always the biggest fan of the food, sticking to a few reliable favorites keeps me coming back. read more

Hello Corporate, please pay attention. The general manager was rude and insulting to one of our guests who is visiting from a foreign country. He was told that "we don't want foreigners in here." The guest had valid original passport, drivers license and US College ID. He was refused the beer he ordered. You might try being more diplomatic, after all Florida is all about tourism. The GM has a bad attitude and others we know have been treated disrespectfully by her. We're shocked and disappointed. Bad odor when we walked in. I think it's had good success as a fun concept restaurant - and it's easy to see it probably had a very pleasant ambiance when they opened, but they haven't kept it up well through the years. We experienced dirty sticky floors and tables and that is inexcusable anywhere. Pretty good service with friendly hosts, but some employees are not very hygienic people - unappetizing. They aren't on open table and don't take reservations - you have to be wait listed (you can get wait listed online at their website before you arrive). Otherwise you put your name in at the door and wait in the queue to be called - can potentially be a long wait. Big menu. Known for excellent bbq ribs but honestly they're just okay. Good beer selection. Food might be better if for not being hampered by the uncleanliness of the place. We only go here because for some reason our grand kids like it. read more

My wife and I visited Flanigan's in Port St. Lucie on Saturday, Nov. 22. During our visit, we were harassed and discriminated against by the manager. Early on, our server Nataly asked us to remove a cooler cup from the table or place it on the dirty floor. She said that her manager told her to tell us so we ask for her manager and that was our last interaction with Nataly. The cup contained my medication and shots for my diabetes and heart transplant needs. I am immunocompromised and awaiting a heart transplant, so this was a serious health matter. The cooler remained outside while my wife retrieved my medication and shots and brought only the medication inside to administer at the table. When the manager approached, she was immediately aggressive, repeatedly clapping her hands, bending over our table, and invading our space. My wife asked her calmly to stay away because she was triggering anxiety, but the manager ignored her. The manager claimed it was "against the law" to bring outside cups in, even though the cup was no longer in the restaurant. My wife correctly explained that denying access to necessary medication is against the Americans with Disabilities Act, but the manager continued to provoke and intimidate us. The manager came back multiple times, yelling, spitting near my plate, and invading our space. I could smell her breath and see her spit, which was extremely concerning given my medical condition. My blood pressure rose, and I felt I had to protect my wife from her aggressive behavior because she kept coming to the table to provoke us, seemingly hoping we would react so she could justify denying my medication. Other staff, including Kilmar, were friendly and professional, and we appreciated their support. This experience caused my wife severe anxiety, disrupted our visit, and was a clear case of harassment, discrimination, and ADA violation. No one should be treated this way, especially when it involves a medical need. read more

Admittedly, I have never been to any location north of broward, but the food here is consistent with other locations.
