This is simply a Miami staple for a chill meal with friends. We came here for lunch and although it wasn't that busy service was a little slow. We had the garlic rolls, chicken stickers and a bonsai dessert. The food was served hot but all of our plates came out at different times. We waited quite a while for the check and couldn't find our waitress. We had to ask a different server to help us with the check. Definitely not enough parking, had to park at the chilis next door. For a Saturday night we didn't have too wait long at all, 10 minutes tops just to clean the table. The food was really good and great value cost wise! The ribs were delicious! The server was sweet but only checked in about every 30 minutes. We were there for 3 hours just based on service and only received one water refill. The environment is great, loved the theming and menu. Flanigans never fails to dispapoint me , my office today picked up lunch for 5 and what a waste of money that was. THey described thier deep fried shrimp as battered crispy shrimp. Not only was it not battered it was heavy season breading that was not fried long enough so they came out greasy and soggy . They falsely advertise the shrimp as being battered. the baked potatoe was only thing edible on that plate and we had three orders of that shrimp that was the worst i have ever seen you got once , you got me twice you will never get me again. You guys have the worst food in the world at least your doral location is horrible i have been to the coconut grove one and they are pretty decent by comparison. You need new cooks. read more

It's Flanny's - a staple of South Florida! If you want solid food and good drinks while catching a game, this is the place to be. Our most recent visit was during a UM game, however we were able to be seated rather quickly. If you're familiar with this location, it's not that large. They have two small dining rooms and a large bar area with high-top seating surrounding the bar. We were seated in one of the smaller dining rooms, in an awkward table right by the bathroom. The smell of cleaner (I guess better than sewage smell) was so overpowering. Everything took so long - food AND drinks - and our server was MIA for a good portion of our time there. No hustle, no bustle, just MIA. We had to stop other servers just to ask about where he was. In fact, I needed napkins and we didn't have any. Lucky for me, my table was not just by the bathroom but also next to the server station, so I reached up and grabbed a stack of napkins. My server showed up, saw the napkins I took, said "We can't take that many napkins" and then put all but four napkins back. It's a guarantee that I will make a mess of some sort while eating, and even if I don't, I need several napkins on hand just to eat their garlic rolls. I read another review that also talked about napkins. Seriously, is there a shortage that we don't know about? Flanigan's is the place to be to get good food, but service and skimping on tableware and paper products needs to be improved upon. read more

While visiting the area I wanted to try something new. As I had 3 friends with me I needed a restaurant that had something everyone would want. As such, we ended up at Flannigans. Upon arrival the parking lot was loaded. This is always a good sign to me as it means people enjoy what is being offered. Or so I assume. LoL! Upon walking up the staff all had on mask and gloves. We were seated immediately, which was awesome. Even with so many people, they were so organized and on top of the service deliverable. They get bonus points for this. I ordered the Prime Rib Steak with the Dirty Rice. I absolutely enjoyed my plate. The steak was moist. Perfectly done. Well seasoned and provided a charbroiled presentation and Smokey flavoring that was unexpected. Yes! This steak was perfect for me and exceeded my expectations. The dirty rice is a meal all by itself. The perfect mix of flavored rices done to tender perfection with a secret flavor that I am still trying to figure out. Hmmmmmmm! Such a staple for the area! Absolutely love Flanigan's. They have some great dinner specials, I opted for the prime rib for 18.99 - it came with a salad, a drink, and garlic knots too. Still shocked at how bad the service was, sitting at the bar for lunch Sunday not busy at all. Young lady with blond hair wearing a #7 jersey took our order and literally never looked at us again. Today was not a good day at flanigans. I arrived with 2 friends of mine. We waited about 20 minutes to be seated ( not bad ) . We ordered drinks around 2:30 pm. We were seated by the bar area so we were able to watch the 2 bartenders. We did not receive our drinks til about 3:15 pm. The bartenders were serving all the customers seated at the bar while all the tickets for customers seated outside the bar were just piling up. The waitress and manager were very nice and apologetic. Visiting from California, I had never heard of a Flanigans before, but I needed a place to watch the Warriors game, and this place was the closest to the hotel that had plenty of TVs. Our group of 3 arrived around 11pm, and the placed was packed! They've got reverse HH, so late night deals on drinks was a big part of why we came. Even though it was late, it was crazy to me, how many kids were out with their parents lol It's not something I ever see out in the bay, but I digress... We ordered a pitcher of beer and to our surprise, it came with a free order of wings (an entire order) which was pretty cool. The next pitcher we got, we got to choose another free item, and we choose the onion strings. Both were pretty mediocre but after a few beers it fit the bill no problem. There wasn't any kinda seasoning and half the wings were burnt but it didn't stop us from eating them. Not bad for something that was free with a purchase. Something I've never seen before is when the pitcher of beer came, they poured our glasses, then proceeded to place a bag of ice inside the pitcher lol It was such a novelty and it was the highlight of the experience. We even bought a flanigan's reusable cup to commemorate our first time. Overall, if you are looking for cheap drinks and food, and a great HH, Flanigan's is a place to go. They had a prime rib special on Tuesdays but they were sold out by the time we got there. So if that's something you are hunting for, best to get there around 4pm according to our waiter. read more

The only thing that this location needs improvement in is the parking since it's very limited. Also ordered the big daddy burger which was topped well and offered a unique charcoal and crunchy texture to the patty. I can't say enough good things about this place. We moved to the Doral/Fontainebleau area recently and it has been our #1 spot. Every time we go there's some type of specials going on. The restaurant is kept clean and orderly, even on nights when its completely packed. I finally was able to try the lunch special today - I knew the wings would be great because I get them every time - but I mostly wanted to see if it was a viable option for my hour-long lunch.
