Food was not great. The cocktails were not great: service was fine. Really a disappointing experience.

Let's start off by saying we are local ppl. We were greated By friendly hosts and taken to our table(clean) our server Kelly was excellent, our meals were prepared to perfection. Shrimp cocktail, our salads(they make their own dressings in house) Stake kabobs, pasta with sea Scolips, desert key-lime pie. This restraunt is in our list of favorite! Our first visit and everything was amazing! The staff, especially our server Dave, was so friendly from beginning to end. The owner Dino stopped by as well and was very kind! The food and drinks were great and reasonably priced. If I had to think of something that was a little negative it would be the garlic bread served with the meals. Went last night with the wife after the Christmas Show at the Alabama Theater. Food & Service was excellent. Our Server Red was very helpful and a joy speaking to. I had the petite 6 oz Filet & Lobster tail. The wife had Scallops in pasta . Both are meals were delicious. First time visiting the restaurant & will definitely be back again. I have totally been craving Ahi tuna and oh do they do it well! It was seared perfect, topped with peppercorns and wasabi aioli. Add in an awesome salad, garlic mashed and green beans- perfect meal. The service was perfect, friendly and effective. The decor is very art deco with lots of flamingos, loved it! The prices were not bad either! Would highly recommend if you're in the area! Amazing food!! We ate here twice on our vacation because it was so delicious. All entrees come with a salad, potato of your choice, vegetable, and garlic bread. All of these items taste amazing and the prices are wonderful given that you get a ton of food. The entree items taste so good. The steaks are perfectly seasoned, seafood is amazing, and the lemon pepper shrimp are my favorite appetizer by far. The service is amazing and the ambience is perfect. While visiting Myrtle Beach, we conveniently walked from our resort to this restaurant. They do not take reservations, but the do allow "call ahead" seating. We called right before we walked out our door. After we checked in, we only sat for a few minutes before we were seated. Brittany, our amazing waitress, was super fast! Both our meals were super flavorful! I had the Crab Cake Open Sandwich with an extra side of the Remolade sauce. My daughter had the Oriental Salad with Sashimi Tuna. Wow, that salad had tons of flavor. If you like Ahi Tuna, you will LOVE this salad! For dessert we split the Salted Carmel Cheesecake. The cheesecake was really rich so splitting it was perfect!!! Probably going to eat here again! I suggest you try it! And, if you can, just walk there. The streets were quiet and the cars were slow and respectful when they did pass us! Wonderful restaurant we had not tried. We sat at the bar, which we love to do. Patrick and Lindsey took excellent care of us. The single lobster tail I had was so large I could not finish it. Let's start by saying this restaurant is so unique and adorable! The theming is very old school and the vibes are fun! We were able to get sat immediately and service was good. Food was very tasty, the fried lobster bites are amazing!! Had a great dinner at Flamingo Grill last night. The parking lot was packed so we were worried there would be a long wait, but there is ample seating in this retro style restaurant and we were seated immediately. After perusing the drink and dinner menus, our server (sorry I can't remember her name) greeted us and took drink and appetizer orders. I had the South Beach martini and She-Crab soup, hubby ordered an Old Fashioned, the soup, and the fried oysters. Drinks were very good and I even had a couple of the oysters (I don't normally enjoy them). The breading on the oysters was Cajun seasoned and they were delicious. I love love love that they offer smaller portions of some of their entrees!! I can never finish all of my dinner and I hate leaving it behind but I also don't like to bring food back to our hotel because I know it will not get eaten and I will end up throwing it out anyway. So I was thrilled to see that there was a smaller version of their Pasta Scallops. Hubby ordered the Lobster Bite dinner. Both came with salad. I was happily surprised to see that my paired-down version still came with three big scallops and a decent amount of pasta. The tomato-based sauce with mushrooms and onions was just the right amount...not over-sauced at all. The lobster bites were also good, even though Hubby wasn't a fan of the dipping sauce. We saved room for dessert and split the Chocolate Kentucky Pie that was served warm and was gone before I could even snap a pic! read more

I don't even know where to start with this establishment, The Food is Beyond amazing. Everything is homemade, the Fact that Outback Steakhouse is across the street is laughable. The Homemade dressing for salad was even top tier. Service was impeccable. They knew everything, my wife had celiac Disease and they knew everything Gluten Free and had a ton for her to actually choose from. The Ambiance was kinda like a 1980's Miami feel live Miami vice. First time in MB in a long time. Celebrating my husband's birthday and I did a ton of research on restaurants because I wanted someplace special. All signs pointed to Flamingo Grill and it did not disappoint. Brienne (hope I'm spelling that right) was our server and she was personable and super fun. The food was outstanding. Loved the lobster bites and the crab soup. My husband had steak which was cooked perfectly. I ordered trigger fish (never had it before but trusted our server) and it was delicious. Everything was just fabulous. We love old school restaurants and after reading about Dino and Dino we kept waiting for the visit to our table. And, again, not disappointed! Dino came by like we were old friends to thank us. Great food, stellar service, fun atmosphere. If we lived here we'd be regulars. Will definitely come back when we next vacation here. First time visiting this restaurant even though we've owned in NMB for 3+ years. Didn't even connect the Beach TV ad we've seen over and over featuring the owners, Dino and Dino. Anyway, place was very busy at 6PM on a Thursday. We had called ahead to get "preferred seating" (no reservations). That place us ahead of walk ins. Entrance area can get crowded but you are invited to sit outside while waiting ( can be a bit warm in summer). The host did an excellent job of greeting patrons and recognizing return diners. Waited about 20 minutes, not bad at all. Looks like all of the seating is good and provided some isolation. Staff greeted us repeatedly and one of the owners stopped by 3-4 times to check on us. Waitress was great, attentive and helpful. Food was good but I can't say anyone is our party of 3 would reorder the same dishes. Lobster bites were tastless but prepared well. Scallops pasta was ok, scallops were smallish and firm, sauce was thin. Crab cake was delicious but not chunky like Maryland. Salads were very good. Drinks were refilled often. Downsides, it's a bit noisy and dark in places. Somewhat pricey but they do offer small plates. Booths were a bit cramped. Saw patrons admitted wearing what I would call inappropriate diner clothes (men in sleeveless shirts, people wearing hats, bathing suits). This is an upscale setting, not a beach bar. But hey, it's 'Merica. I'll go back after tourist season and try some other dishes. read more

Was really excited about finding this restaurant with a great rating. Walked in and the wait was reasonable. 10 minutes tops. Restaurant was adorable, art deco decor throughout. Beautifully set up. We ordered salad and lady crab soup as a starter. The soup was great. Then for dinner i had the filet with fried Lobster bites. My boyfriend had the chicken picatta and daughter had the filet mignon. My boyfriend enjoyed his dish. Both steaks were pretty bland. The Lobster bites were definitely nothing to brag about and i only could stomach a couple of them. Now the reason I have to give this establishment 1 star is because as we are waiting on the check a tiny roach came crawling out onto the table. My $35 filet meal wasn't worth $1. It was fatty and chewy. The manager just made excuses and blamed me for not letting my server know so they could cook me another one. Don't be scared off from the retro outside. The food was excellent and the price was great! My daughter and I got filets, my husband got Mediterranean chicken and my FIL got prime rib sandwich. Steak was cooked to my asking (medium rare) which doesn't always happen unless you're at a strictly steakhouse establishment. The only. Con was that my steak had a small fat vein in it that I had to cut around but it tasted delicious! Best meal we had at beach so far and I felt like we were taking a risk when we pulled up.
