For lunch the first time I got the Philly with the pineapple slaw, which is really something different compared to wherever else you can get a Philly. There wasn't a lot of slaw on my sandwich but it was just enough to brighten up the sandwich. The second time I got the chicken Philly, which has your classic fixings just with chicken instead. Fries on the side both times are delicious! Nice and crispy on the outside but fluffy on the inside. One standout memory I have is that my mom wanted a loaded fries that was more vegetable than meat which isn't on the menu. However, they were able to accommodate this and delivered very well to her liking! I remember when Philly Down South was just the food truck and a couple of umbrella tables. My mom says that every time she visits Philly Down South, it seems to get a little larger. I love the current grass hut ambiance that even features a stage for some live music! That is theft. I truly hope he got down to the bottom of this I have worked in the restaurant industry and met people who do add extra tip- since (from what I was told by othermost people don't notice and it's not a big amount- thus why I always make to an even amount on the check.
