I'm really weary of buffets. So I never get anything that takes too much difficulty to make because obviously (especially at a place like this) it's quantity over quality) so I always get food that's almost impossible to mess up. Everything I got was bad, ice cold (fries) or had a 'wang' to it. Since I agreed to go there with someone, and they picked her, I didn't want to make a fuss. So later that night my stomach is turning but I try to ignore it and take medicine to help. Next day I'm sick as a dog. I'm not 100% that it was the buffet to blame but I do know the food tasted weird, the place was dirty and I didn't have anything else out of the ordinary. Absolutely not impressed. Anything deep fried is covered in extreme layer of Panko. Rolls are made with excessive amount of fillers (rice, cream cheese etc.) pastries are taken straight out of the box it was frozen in. Seems like not much is fresh. Service was ok. read more

This place has never scored passing on health inspections. Their most recent inspection they received a 27 out of 100. Anything below 60 is failing, below 50 they are supposed to be shut down by the city. A ton of people have gotten food poisoning from eating here. They also got in trouble for defrosting fish on the hood of a car. Please don't risk your health by eating at this awful place. read more

For the price this buffet is awesome. Everything was fresh. Even the oysters. That surprised me, no gag reflex on the oysters. I only ate one though. Went for the general tso chicken and fried rice. Both good. I disliked the noodles. Too soggy and doughy. Ribs were a bit dry. Sushi was amazing. Beats most grocery sushi or match it. Flaming buffet is a new Chinese buffet. I was excited when they decided to build it not too far from my house. Now it's my new spot when I want Chinese. Flaming Buffet is a very big restaurant, witch is good because they have plenty of seating options and they will have you seated fast! I've never waited in line before. They have plenty of options, I like the shrimp, the spicy chicken and their big options of sushi! They also have a hibachi witch I have also had! You chose everything and they cook to order. The woman chase after me and I refuse to talk to her. She grab me by the arm and turn me around. Seriously? This isn't China where you can grab the youth. I tried complaining to the manager but to this day there is no such person that exist. I never try to post negative reviews but people need to know the truth. A buffet is a buffet they always have the same thing. Nothing fancy about this place. The place is new so we had to try it out. They have a sushi bar area and a Mongolian grill. Theres a row of fired food. Two rows of "Chinese food" then a row for salad. and deserts. There was nothing fancy about this place. They do have crabs on Saturdays for $12.99 and all day Sunday it's $10.99. I went on Thursday night and it costs us about $23 for two adults. $10.99 per person. The place was nice and clean. For some reason it was super hot like 75 degrees which I find hot considering they have to keep the food hot/warm and they had a Mongolian grill. They staff was nice and attentive with cleaning our table and filling up our drinks. They did a pretty good job keeping the food hot and coming out fast when things were running low. Although it's a new buffet they didn't have a lot to choose from. There was one table for salads and another for desserts. The 3rd and 4th row was the Chinese and Idunnowat stuff. The last section was the sushi and hibachi. The Chinese food not good, the sushi was mostly cali rolls upgraded. Or the fish would be dry. The desserts seem to be decent. Nothing really wowed me... We tried it. There are lots of items. We felt that most of the items lacked flavor. The chicken items contained a lot of connective tissue -- they were tough. Tough is not something one expects from chicken.. One does not expect this (tough) when biting into a wing. This might be a lower quality of chicken. I guess we just did not like the food.
