It's been a good while since I've had a good pie from a small business that pays attention to the detail which would be, taste and presentation. The day we went was national pie day which I had no idea, and it was super busy but yet they moved the line quick. I had to try a few different things since I drove in to Utah from Vegas and this place was on my must stop list. I was surprised that I didn't pay more than what I was thinking I would though lol. This place has great employees and a great owner who are all very welcoming and helpful. That just makes things so much better as you have a positive view going into tasting their creations. Since being back in Vegas I've been thinking of the next trip out there just to grab some pies again, tats how good all their stuff was. Not overly sweet for the dessert pies and very tasty savory pies that o could eat multiple of for sure.

Riley helped me today and was very personable and patient as I changed my mind a few times. I love this place! Today is Saturday in the late afternoon and there were all the savory pies that I'd only could smell in my previous visits. Unfortunately I already had lunch so I only had the sweet tasty pies. Love the apple pie! For the Very Berry and chocolate caramel... and lemon bar, oh and the chocolate brownie... but planning on getting all the savory pies next week.

Flake Pie Co. is really really awesome. I would definitely recommend this spot if you're looking for a quick pie fix! As another review said, "what's not to love about mini pies?" My husband and I have been wanting to try these pies for quite some time. We made the trek out to South Jordan and were pleasantly surprised! We got the Key lime pie and the banana cream pie, both delicious flavors. Can't go wrong with those two! The storefront is clean and signage clearly displays what they have to offer. I have yet to try their savory pies but MAN these sweet pies were delicious. Staff is very friendly, go check this place out!

This was my first time at this location. Stumbled upon it while driving around the area. The banana crème pie shake was absolutely delicious! Service was wonderful and they were patient with my many questions. It's a cute set up, would be a fun little photo op. The Flake Pie Co. is a great spot to pick up a quick lunch or some delicious desserts as they have both sweet and savory offerings. As we had already eaten lunch, we stopped in for dessert, and I was very glad we did. Service was quick and professional. The floors, counter and display case were all very clean and orderly. I ordered a lemon ricotta flakie, and my friend chose the raspberry flakie. Both were perfectly sized. All you need to do is look at the pictures to appreciate the rich puff pastry and glorious filling each contains. These desserts served as the perfect finish to our lunch out. I would give this location and outstanding rating. Do yourself a favor and go there soon for these delicious hand-pies and pastries.

I'm somewhat relieved I don't live in Salt Lake City, or I can't imagine how many pies I would be tempted to eat on a regular place with Flake in existence. We tried three pies, and four of the pasties, and everything was WONDERFUL. I truly don't think you can get a bad flavor combination here, and it was actually incredibly difficult to make a decision. My personal favorite was the S'mores Pasty, and while I ate it at room temp, I can't imagine how good it would be if you have the patience to warm it up. Definitely get a box to sample multiple flavors if you go! The staff was really helpful and so friendly, and hopefully can help you narrow down your choices.

Super cute store that has been on my radar for awhile! Finally found time to stop in and grab a few treats. I love that these are mini pies, perfect size to sample a few and share. I also felt like the price point was a nice deal too! We tried "When Chocolate Met Caramel", "Nutcracker" and "Sweet Like Chocolate". When Chocolate Met Caramel was the best of the three by far. Flaky crust, awesome chocolate cream, caramel, it was sooo good! Sweet Like Chocolate had brownie filling with an Oreo crust, it was definitely chocolate overload but it was pretty solid. A good option if you have someone who isn't into traditional pies. The Nutcracker was a bit of a letdown, although the pecan and seasonings were on point for flavor, the filling was very runny so I wasn't a big fan. I like my pecan pies to be more gooey than runny. Overall though, I'm so glad we were able to try them out. I definitely want to return to try some of the fruit flavors and the flakies! Stop on by if you're into pie.

Wow! Key lime pie hit the spot. Fresh and a very light crust. Staff was kind, patient and helpful. I recommend getting their 3-pack and trying more flavors!

I stumbled across this place on pioneer day. It's a small little store with big flavors. They sell mini desert pies what they call flakies which look like little pop tarts and then savory hand pies. I ordered the chicken pot pie hand pie and even though it was a hot summer day that tasted amazing. I really enjoyed the filling which was a shredded chicken and lots of vegetables. And the crust is like a Filo dough. As for the desserts I ordered the raspberry, coconut cream,and peach cobbler and all of them were absolutely delicious. This is a really fun spin on dessert. Been here a few times and they've always had a lot of options available with so many different flavors. I really enjoyed the raspberry flakies (like a pop tart) and the s'mores one as well. Take out only for their individual-sized pies. An excellent selection available for this first drop-in visit. Selected a couple of their pizza pockets as well as a delicious mixed berry pie and a very good key lime. Very good staff...personable and helpful. I would consider the price points good, perhaps a notch above a slice from a full pie. But I love the opportunity to indulge my sweet tooth without the obligation of a full pie. read more

Highly recommend! Utah is the capital of sweet treats and Flake is right up there. They have delicious personal sized pies (get the peanut butter) and homemade pies (like poptarts). We tried the raspberry, strawberry and brown sugar hand pies and strawberry was by far the best. read more

Excellent little pie store. I wish America had more stores like this. Their individual pies, which works out great my case. My wife had the Keylime pie, and I had the pumpkin. Excellent place. And since this place is in Utah, they were open at 4:30 PM on a Sunday. It just (screamed) we should try it... And am I glad we did excellent dessert pies. read more

For all the specially cookie joints that followed the specialty soda joints flooding the valley, it is nice to find something that's just different enough to stand out. Make no mistake, I love those cookie and soda places, but if I was on a desert island and could only pick one kind of food, it would be pie. Thankfully, Flake Pie Co. came to the rescue. The shop was super cute and easy to find. They offered a variety of flavors. I got three mini pies for $12.50. The only one I tried was the banana cream pie. I wasn't a super big fan of the meringue on top, but the banana pie underneath was heavenly. I was surprised with chucks of sliced bananas, which added a nice texture to the creamy pie. I love these guys. I come here every time I get the pie. Nothing better than pizza and my very own cookie dough pie. These guys have their own style of pop tarts too. I love them. I buy a box of them every time. It doesn't matter which ones they have I just have them fill me up for me. They are always great. I'm so glad I got to try this place out today! It is such a cute storefront and their pies are incredible. I love that they are individual and mini so there's a little less guilt I got the apple of my pie, peanut butter is my jam and the she's my berry pie. I also tried the s'mores flakie which is basically a toaster strudel but homemade and amazing. All of the flavors are so delicious. I was very impressed! This is a great date spot. Some of the pies we tried could have easily been eaten by one person, others needed to be shared because they were so sweet and rich. Hands down The favorite was the raspberry cheesecake. It was fluffy and not too sweet. Next app was the chocolate caramel the caramel was high-quality and the texture of the chocolate was light and airy. Customer service was wonderful and their packaging is adorable! Been reading the reviews and they have curbside (awesome!) so I thought I'd try out the pies and hand pies today. Got a cinnamon, raspberry & a caramel chocolate hand pie. All were flaky, filled with just enough stuffing and oh, so tasty. Decided to try an apple, a 4 berry and a peanut butter pie and were not disappointed. The apple crumb was sweetened just right with a tasty crumbly topping on it. The peanut butter chocolate had a chocolate crust filled with chocolate and topped with peanut butter. Yum! The special berry was good as well. Price for three pies was reasonable as was the price for the hand pies. I'll definitely be back to try some more flavors of each. read more

My oh my, what a cute little pie bakery. The décor and aesthetic of this little place is so cute and am always so excited to snap a photo to let friends know I am here. The aesthetic is not the best part, its their pies and flakies! Especially their banana cream pie, possibly the best pie I have ever had. Their personal pies are great if you are looking for a variety of flavors but not actually purchasing full pies. I usually get a box and then get a flakie, my favorites I have had before are the banana, key lime, apple, and the smores flakie. I am not even a big pie person but when I am craving pie and something quick this is always the p[lace I come too to fill that craving. I am not a big fan of the savory pies, but have gone with friends who say for that style of pie they are very good. If you are looking for a cute little shop, locally owned, and want to fill a pie craving you have to stop by and get a variety of their mini pies and do not forget to grab a flakie!! Amazing shop - super inventive flavors and the classics were done right. Everything I tried was delicious. It was a fun experience to go pick out a box and I shared them with my family - we each had a 4th. With 6 of us, the 4 mini pies were plenty.
