I really wanted to love my cookies at Crave, and I visited twice over the last couple of months to give them a try. They're good cookies, but not the best. Both times I visited, the store was absolutely empty. They change their cookie menu weekly, and this week's menu was very appealing. One thing I noted is that every one of their cookies with the exception of the classic chocolate chip was stuffed with some sort of mass-produced sweet. Peanut butter cookies were stuffed with Reeses style cups, the Chocolate cookie was stuffed with what tasted like storebought cheesecake, the Samoa cookie was literally topped with a Girl Scout Cookie, and the Scotcheroo was filled with a Rice Krispie Treat. This made all of the cookies taste far from homemade. They were SO sweet that I barely could eat a few bites. I love sweets, but the fake flavors were just gross. The worst cookie of the bunch was a Strawberry cookie. It had a sour tasting strawberry cream topping that was day-glo pink! Extremely unappetizing. It was topped with a thick whipped cream that made the entire thing soggy and unappealing. I have never thrown out a cookie before, but it was really, really gross. Into the garbage it went. The best cookie was the traditional chocolate chip, and I would've loved the Oreo cookie if it hadn't had the yucky, gummy cheesecake inside. The cookies were slightly underdone and reminded me so much of Gideon's Bakehouse in Orlando, that same sort of yummy, sugary, raw dough texture. I gave Crave two chances and I was less than impressed on both of my visits. The employees were so nice and friendly, but they selected my cookies out of a warming tray. I didn't smell any fresh baked cookies and no baking was going on, just already made cookies sitting there getting dried out. They were served to me warm, however. There are much better cookies out there, and I just prefer all-natural ingredients or at least freshly baked cookies.

I usually get their weekly lineup at home but it was fun to stop into this Crumbl to grab my weekly treats. I'm sure my treats in SLC are going to be as tasty as the ones in Boise. I ordered my 4 pack and hung out till they were ready. The staff here so was nice! They all greeted my husband and I. After my goodies were ready, they handed me my box. It's night and day with service between the two states. They hit the mark on customer service here today. I also appreciate that they handed me the box! Normally they just put it on the counter and walk off. This week's cookie selection was killer, they always are. The cookie batter cheesecake was delicious! The chocolate cupcake cookie was my favorite! The chocolate frosting was so good and the cookie was so buttery soft. I loved the sprinkles in the Mother's frosted animal cracker cookie. It was fun and colorful! Whoever created the Oreo milkshake cookie did a banger job. That cookie tasted just like an Oreo milkshake. I hadn't had dinner yet so it was hard to only take a couple bites of each cookie and not demolish them all. I could have eaten all 4 and not feel any guilt for doing it. I'm happy that there was a Crumbl close to U of U and the hospital. I was able to get my weekly goodies and it really made my day after having a long visit at U of U. Having Crumbl really made my crappy day better. Looking forward to next week's selection! I'm sure they are all going to be so yummy!

My boyfriend got mint chocolate chip and he loved it. It's been his favorite since. The fact that they have double cones makes it unique and convenient. I can eat both flavors at once and don't have to finish one first to get to the other one. They also include drinks as well if you're wanting a different type of sweet treat.

Way to spread the love and cheer. This location is so bright and colorful-it automatically puts you in a good mood when you arrive. There's plenty of space to sit and enjoy your treat and-my favorite feature-there's a water bottle filling station for customers to use. I'll definitely bring my water bottle with me next time. The woman behind the counter was so friendly and welcoming. She made our experience fun and I daresay that she enjoys her job-what's not to love about working at an ice cream shop, really? And that makes me want to return and stay awhile.

If they have more than two customers, they'll generally have someone else come out from the back, to help keep customers happy and well taken care of. :) Schmidt's Bakery is very clean and orderly, and the presentation/quality of everything is great. Most treats are chilled in the glass cases, which is a lovely touch. We find that it's quite difficult to pick just one or two treats per person. I don't have much self-control with these delicacies, so I make a conscientious effort to only stop in like once a month because everything I've tried is just. so. good.
