Cute place. There's a cupcake ATM outside the door which is a fun idea. We showed up around dinner time on a Friday night and they were out of several flavors. We ordered a dark chocolate cupcake, carrot cupcake, and Salted Oatmeal Cornflake cookies. I was told my chocolate cupcake wouldn't have sprinkles on it, so maybe they were out. The cookies were the highlight. They were crunchy and chewy with sweet and salty notes. The cupcakes were only okay. I was impressed with the visible carrot shreds in the carrot cupcake, but both cupcakes were dry. The carrot cupcake could have used more baking spices too. We were really excited to try this place, but we'll try someplace else next time. There are so many places out here to get sweet treats. The bakery was clean and bright. If I have my choice between a cookie and a cupcake, I'll choose a cupcake-especially if it's from Sprinkles! Good Heavens, these things are divine-and I can't seem to get enough of them. Tonight I tried the funfetti, chocolate and strawberry ones-each was better than the last. Not only can you buy some delicious cupcakes at the counter but get this: there is a cupcake vending machine outside that is open 24 hours. Yes, you read that right! Tried Sprinkles and I'm on the fence. The cupcakes were moist, but the frosting was a bit on the heavy side. The marshmallow cupcake is exactly like a ding dong, chocolate cake with a marshmallow filling. The salted caramel was tasty but had a lot of frosting. Their other flavors do sound really good. They are more on the pricy side but not bad for a once in awhile treat. The staff was friendly, but I find it a bit awkward that you order from a kiosk right at the counter. I was waiting for sprinkles to open because it's one of my fave cupcake shops on CA. Red velvet is my fave. Walking in I was greeted and told to use the kiosk to order and then they call you name when they have packaged it. That's it! Cupcake price is why I gave it -1 star I know with inflation prices are rising but $5 dollars a cupcake is a steep price to pay. Is it worth it? To me yes if you have a cupcake craving and maybe once every couple months. The dark chocolate banana was really good. Banana flavor was there and didn't taste artificial either. Just enough frosting. The red velvet is my fave and wished the cream cheese frosting had more of a cream cheese flavor but overall yum! I've been wanting to try this place for a while now! The store is pretty small, but it's really cute! This really is just an order and go type of place, but there are lots of places to sit and enjoy your cupcake outside within Mountain View Village. The employee working that day was very friendly and told me to let him know if I had any questions about the menu. I decided to try the the Mythical Creature cupcake. This one was a vanilla cake with a sugar cookie crust, and pink vanilla buttercream frosting, sprinkled with sugar crystals and topped with a cookie. I didn't realize at the time this one was limited edition and here for only 1 week. It was good, but nothing I'd be craving again and wanting to come back for if it wasn't limited edition. I feel like the frosting was kind of dry and crumbly, but the cake part was good. I think I'll come back one more time and try a cupcake that is always there and give them one more shot. I do feel like $5 per cupcake is a little high though, but the quality seems to be good. I love how they give you a little cupcake holder for your cupcake so it doesn't tip over inside the bag. Cupcakes are decent or "mid" as my 16 year old called them. Nothing special, nothing better than you could make at home. We tried 5 different flavors. The infamous vanilla sprinkle cupcake was unfortunately the most bland of all. My kids were disappointed. The chocolate cake was fairly good, but the frostings were just not great. The main reason for the two stars is the price. $5 for 1 cupcake, they better be good. We splurged and got the 6 for $30 and I wish you could return the ones you didn't eat! We won't be returning. I would go to Sprinkles in Los Angeles and when they had their location in Las Vegas, so I was excited when I found out one was opening here! Having tried Sprinkles in different states, I can say that they are consistent in their baking. It doesn't matter where you go, the cupcake will taste the same. I like that they have seasonal cupcakes, but I always go for the red velvet or strawberry. You can't go wrong with either one! My friend recommended ordering online for pickup, so that's what I did. Upon arriving, I was kindly greeted right when I walked in. Order was ready on the shelf. The place is small, but clean, and intended for to go orders only. I wanted to try the Vietnamese coffee cupcakes as they were a limited time offering. The frosting is pretty sweet AND there's a cream filling too. I would prefer a bit more cake to frosting/filling ratio. And since it was a special flavor, they were an extra $1. Decent cupcakes that are overpriced. The cupcakes are certainly superior to anything you would get from a grocery store, but nothing that wowed me. I tried the blueberry lemon and I couldn't taste the lemon at all. The red velvet was good, but the best one that I tried was the funfetti. It still wasn't anything that made me think I had to go back. The cupcakes are small for costing $5 each. These feel more like $3.50 cupcakes. The best thing about my experience was that the employee behind the counter took my order, I paid, and then she washed her hands before grabbing my cupcakes and boxing them up. I feel really sad posting this review because I I used to LOVE sprinkles. As someone who used to work at a cupcake shop and have tried all the cupcake stores during the cupcake craze of the early 2010s, Sprinkles was the gold standard. So of course I was so excited when I heard Sprinkles was finally gracing Utah with its presence! However, I could not have been more disappointed with the cupcakes when I went! The service was great, but we tried the sprinkles cupcake, the black and white, the white cupcake, the s'mores cupcake and the red velvet, and they were all super dry and the frosting tasted almost chemical. It was nothing like the moist, high quality ingredient cupcakes I remember that started the cupcake craze of yesteryear. I'm not sure if Sprinkles just drastically lowered their standards and ingredient list or if this location is just still figuring out its kinks, but at $5 per cupcake I will not be making a return trip to this location. read more

I've been a fan of sprinkles cupcakes since I first tried them in Houston back when I was in high school. Im personally not a cupcake person but this place seems to be an exception. The place is small compared to other locations. The guy that took my order was nice and quick to take my order. Not much space to linger as you're only able to order and go about your day given the size of the place. There are some chairs outside to sit though. Their cupcakes and cookies are rich in flavor, and icing on the cupcakes is never overwhelmingly sweet. I recently tried this Riverton Location and was a bit disappointed. The cupcakes went up in price, and their cupcake seems to have gone down in size since last time I had them at their Georgetown, D.C. location. As much as I enjoy their cupcakes, im not sure that i'm inclined to pay so much for a small cupcake that's also inconsistent in size. I got 7 cupcakes on my visit and they were all varying sizes. My friends enjoyed them but also stated the price for the size isn't fair. That being said, if you're wanting to try them, I'd recommend the Red Velvet, Carrot Cake, or Banana Cupcake. They also have gluten free options and vegan options for cupcakes for those with food restrictions, but they are more expensive. You won't be disappointed in the taste. Also, their cookies are a great option if cupcakes aren't your thing. Will I come back? Maybe if i'm with a group of friends so they're able to try them but haven't decided if i'm willing to pay a premium for nostalgia in the shape of a smaller than I recall cupcake. read more

Im going to try again but for now we were pretty unimpressed. The frosting comes right off the cupcake in a dry chunk. It almost had a hard crust around it from drying out. Then the cake part just crumbled. It didnt hold its shape one bit. Dark chocolate was delicious flavorwise The sprinkle one was awful. The cake part tasted like bread. Nothing cake about it. Online ordering didnt have the option for seasonal flavors but they had them in the store. That was also a bummer. The inside is small and boring. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone read more

$14 for 2 regular sized cupcakes and 1 cookie. The cake was very dry, the frosting was applied thick, which would be a problem if it wasn't so dense as well. There was nothing special about the sprinkles. I know it's a new business, and I'm happy to try again, but you can't make all your product at 5am and then let them sit in the open air for 15 hours until you close at 8pm. Maybe do a half price thing after 6pm instead of throwing 300 cupcakes away at the end of the day? That being said, I'm sure they would be much better if you got them early in the morning. read more
