Having been to the Flagship in Santa Rosa and Windsor and the kitchen at Old Possum, we had an idea of what to expect coming here. Plenty of beer options, friendly service, good food and chill vibes. Well, we got 3 out of 4 so ... Friendly owner/ bar attendant and apologetic for the lack of beer options. She was upbeat but didn't change the results. Beer: I don't know what happened, but they were out of everything we tried to order. The suggestion to drink something out of the fridge was understandable but I definitely prefer tap when at a restaurant. I don't remember what we landed on but it wasn't one I loved. One and done. The outdoor patio was mostly empty, minus a large family enjoying a round of Cards Against Humanity. It was so fun to watch the teens and the grandparents navigate that game, with the grandpa often saying "I can't say this, it's inappropriate!" I had the chance to people watch with this family and it didn't disappoint. Food: happy hour made it easy to order more than we needed. Oops. As mentioned, we've eaten at the other locations so wings were definitely on our mind. Naked with a couple sauce sides. They were good, might've asked to have them a little crispier, but had good flavor. and the ranch is delish. Ordered a pretzel with side of cheese sauce and mustard, and cheesy garlic bread. Everything worked well to go along with a beer drinking happy hour. All that said, we went out of our way to come here but most likely wouldn't return. read more

Enjoying the Outdoors at Flagship Taproom Cotati The weather was beautiful on Sunday, so we took advantage of it with an out-of-town trip and headed north. Around late lunchtime, we found ourselves in Cotati. As we pulled over to park in La Plaza de Cotati, I noticed the sign for Flagship Taproom across the parking lot. Remembering its presence from a previous visit before the pandemic, I decided to try it out after our poppy walk. The Cotati location of Flagship Taproom has a nice outdoor seating area with seating for a few dozen people. Inside, they have a long bar, tables, stools, and TVs for sports fans. We opted for the outdoor seating. I checked the beer menu and asked for advice from the friendly young lady behind the bar. Following her recommendation, I chose Vato Loco, a Mexican Lager by Del Cielo Brewing Co. in Martinez, while my significant other opted for a Cherry Cider. To complete the experience, we ordered wings with Buffalo sauce. The outdoor tables were filled with a mix of young couples, their babies, and dogs, creating a vibrant and friendly atmosphere. We enjoyed our first round of drinks so much that I ordered another round. This time, I chose Orange You Delicious, an IPA also by Del Cielo, with double the alcohol content of the Vato Loco but equally tasty and flavorful. The wings were also delicious, and the Buffalo sauce had the perfect amount of spice I was looking for. We had a good time and, on the drive home, agreed that Flagship Taproom would be our go-to spot when we next visit Cotati. read more

I went to go hear some music here. The music was awesome. Really great band. I lowered my star level just because I ordered the bacon and grilled cheese sandwich. The sandwiches really dry and rather tasteless. I ate it because I was starving. I think it's best to go and just maybe get appetizers and drinks for that it's good. The staff was overwhelmed because there were so many people there, but they did the best that they could and we're very friendly. I don't think they expected that many people I'd go back again just not order the food. read more

I visited on a weeknight to hang out with friends and enjoy some trivia. The staff were friendly, and the ambiance was great, especially if you can sit outside on the patio. The fact that dogs are allowed is a nice bonus. I ordered the nachos and flatbread pizza, but they were just okay, nothing particularly standout about the food. Overall, it's a fantastic spot for music and trivia with friends. I don't drink beer so I can't make any reviews on the drinks. read more

Very disappointed. The menus were dirty and sticky, and I should've left just based on that but still decided to give it a try because of the high rating. The menu selection wasn't great; I opted for the Margherita flatbread and my daughter had the pretzel with cheese. My flatbread was ok, and plated nicely, but bland. My daughter said her pretzel tasted like the microwaveable kind you get at the store. I needed a fork to eat my flatbread as the cheese was sliding off, and had to ask for one. We have been to this establishment a couple of times, and have always had a wonderful time. Great staff, and very kid friendly. Well, when it came to planning my husband's 40th birthday party, it came to mind when I was scrambling a month out to find a place that met my husbands vibe: a brewery with a full bar. Flagship met all those marks, and then some! I called and was instantly impressed with the ease and helpful nature of Kamran. He reassured me they would be able to take care of us, and boy did they! We reserved the whole patio and they catered the food. All of the bartending staff went above and beyond to accommodate our guests, and overall just made the experience phenomenal. As for the food, their catering menu was bbq and it was some of the best I've had. All our guests raved about it, especially the queso dip and sausages... although the pulled pork was my favorite! Their regular bar menu is very different, but I have really enjoyed what I've gotten in the past. Overal a 10/10 experience all around and we can't wait to go back. read more

We came here to watch the Warrior Playoff game. We enjoyed some California Beer and appetizers. Discovered a yummy brew called Cali Creamin. Omg! The smoothest lightest beer I've ever tried. We sat at the bar and received great service. They had live music outside and this seems to be the local watering hole! My only qualm is the weird co-Ed bathroom situation. There is indoor and a huge outdoor biergarten and they have heaters. Don't get them confused with the the Thai restaurant on the corner, they are more inside to the left of the complex. read more

Loved this cute spot! Have been wanting to go here, was able to meet a few friends for drinks & snacks last night finally and will be returning! Good selection of drinks that are worth drinking, I had their cider which was blueberry elderflower and was SO delicious! Wish they had more non beer drinks for non beer drinkers, however, I enjoy beer and appreciated their selection! The food is better than I expected, and relatively reasonably priced. Definitely a place to order a few apps and share with your table. Staff is great, quick and attentive but does not come bother you multiple times at your table like some establishments. I've been stopping in about once/month for several months and they always have an excellent selection of beers. With probably over 20 beers on tap, it's already hard to make a selection so I find it somewhat puzzling that people want even more variety. I suppose it is the spice of life, or so they say. Anyway, the power has been off to the entire plaza for at least the past 3 months so they've been closed. Recently, I did see a sign indicating they were open limited hours in the afternoons on some days, but unfortunately it doesn't coincide with when I'm in the area. They finally filled the cement pad that will probably house the transformer for the complex so hopefully they'll get the power restored soon. What a shame - they've completed killed what was once a vibrant and busy part of downtown Cotati. read more

Worst sandwich I've ever had, avoid the buffalo chicken melt at all costs, it tasted like everything left in the pantry was shoved on frostbitten bread and served half heated. I had two bites, gagged and could not have any more, the bartender told us after we ordered that they "should have some left in the back" implying the food was neither fresh nor cooked at the restaurant. A waste of $70 including mediocre and undercooked wings and nachos with no sauce. I'm not coming back ever, girlfriend said ranch was not bad. read more

I've never been here before, and my boyfriend told me when he was in high school this bar was set up really differently and connected to the Thai restaurant that was next-door. Since then it looks like they built a wall between the two establishments. The bar had a bunch of different types of local beers with some cool/funny names that I found very unique. I've been coming here for years and it has always be my favorite go-to spot for after work drinks. They have an amazing variety of rotating taps from local breweries that will refresh from day to day. Considering how small their kitchen is, their food menu is great. There are many sandwiches, pizzas, salads, and snacks on their menu. There is tented outdoor bench seating shared with the thai place next door. Dogs are allowed. They have dog treats by their water station inside for your furry pals. They host specials and events on different days of the week, such as happy hour discounts, wing wednesdays, and trivia thursdays. Still my favorite go-to spot! read more

I started going to Flagship Taproom when I first turned 21 in 2016. When I first started going, it was my favorite place to be. Beer was great, vibes were awesome, and people were super friendly. Over the years I feel like the quality and variety of the beers has gone down. The beer choices are slim more often for IPA drinkers and they aren't from the breweries people want most. The food has always been par which is understandable since the kitchen is limited, but why does it always smell like something is burning in every location? It makes sitting inside nauseating and unenjoyable. The atmosphere has slowly died down as it feels more locations are ghost towns than gathering places for the locals. Considering they are one of the few true taprooms in Sonoma county I feel they could still make it strong if they correct some of these simple issues. I want to see them succeed since I love their love business, but subsequently don't frequent the locations as much as I'd like. read more

So my husband and I decided to try this place out for fun. We went maybe twice but then something happened. First of all I got really sick from food poisoning. Someone must've not washed their hands or something along those lines. Second of all, we witnessed the owner treat the "poor" terribly across the street. I'm not even sure why they were not bothering anyone but he seemed to have zero compassion nor understanding about another persons struggle. After these two things happened my husband and I just knew this isn't a good place. The food is subpar. To be honest the name of the restaurant is dumb for lack of a better word. It turns me off because it does throw off the ambiance. It sounds immature. I honestly wouldn't recommend this place.. after knowing what I know now the atmosphere is just uncomfortable. read more

We came here for a good Sunday evening and to try their amazing sandwiches. To tell you the truth Flagship did not disappoint us. We ordered a Chipotle Chicken Bacon Ranch sandwich and a BBQ Tri Tip sandwich. Also, I got some very tasty cider. The sandwiches were really big and tasted so good that we couldn't stop eating them until there was nothing left. They also have a great service. Everyone was friendly and nice, also I loved that they helped me choose a drink since I had no idea what I wanted. They have lots of beer to choose from. We had a great time while we were here. Funny story about this place. We were there last Friday evening to grab a bite with friends. There was one young man behind bar who informed us that all employees except him had called out sick. So, he took our order, brought out drinks, cooked out food. He did everything himself and on a Friday night while the place was busy! He was the best and had a great attitude and did not give into pressure. I would not necessarily recommend the food and wine list needs improvement, I would go back. read more

The staff is always friendly and welcoming. For food they have sandwiches, appetizers and wings. I usually get the smoked gouda grilled cheese sandwich, which is delicious! They also have a selection of craft beer cans & bottles to go, which can be found in their fridge. They have Happy Hour every day from 3 - 6 p.m. as well as many events throughout the week including Tap Takeovers on Wednesdays from 6-9 p.m., Trivia Nights on Thursdays at 7-9 p.m. and Live Music on Sundays from 4-7 p.m. I highly recommend visiting Flagship Taproom! read more

Really cool place but at noon on a Saturday they were out of some beer. They were out of 75% of what we ordered for Food. Some of the things we ordered they didn't tell us they were out of until they served us the food they just didn't really care at one point in time the gentleman felt very apologetic But as more and more things were unavailable it was like too bad so sad. Walking in it's a bit smaller than I had imagined and I couldn't get the complete feel due to it just opening and boxes of stuff to stock a bit all over. Been to Flagship a handful of times now and I always have a great time! On tap they have a big selection of rotating beers, and a cider or two. Last weekend I tried a matcha green tea cider and loved it! I'm happy to report they even have gluten free options for food (gluten free bread) and beer (Omission Brewing)! They have games and cards to play and the casual atmosphere always makes for a fun night. The bartenders and owners are super friendly and eager to chat with us or answer any questions we have. Novastarr in particular is a rockstar, she's always got a smile on her face and happy to give me samples of the beers I'm curious about. I love that they are starting to host events too. Trivia on Thursdays and paints nights (PINTbrush). Can't wait to see what other new events they host, and interesting beers they pour! read more

Stopped through on a Sunday afternoon for lunch. Overall I'd say the food was great, and the beer/drink selection awesome. Ambiance was off though. We sat outside under tents and picnic tables in a parking lot, and it just felt too covid-esque to get comfortable. Not my favorite vibe. You stand in "line" at the bar to order drinks and food-which looked to be prepared haphazardly amongst the bar tender pouring. It gave some food safety red flags. Surprisingly even with that, the food was really tasty. We got a steak sandwich and a chicken bacon sandwich-both of which were noted as "award winners" on the menu. The brewer for Civilization brewing was at the bar so I tried his Olaompali which Bre gave me a taste of and was delicious. I was craving a BLT which was not on the sandwich menu but Bre was more than happy to make that happen since the ingredients were in other sandwiches. I love this place because it is accepting of everyone, no matter their race, weight or size, religion, clothes choice, hairstyle preference, sexual orientation, political affiliation, wealth, looks, choices, beliefs or abilities. The staff is warm and friendly towards all equally, which is what we are striving for in America especially right now with people calling others nasty names without knowing the content of their character. The food is typical bar fare with a few twist. The bacon Gouda sandwich is a favorite, as are the wings. Desire a salad? They've got that too! How about a salty large pretzel? Dip it in cheese sauce, yum. My coworker favors garlic cheesy bread which is mouthwatering and hard to resist tbh. They also have a rotating selection of beers on tap and each time I visit I am surprised with a new list to choose from. My favorite is always a sour, but I like the other choices they offer as well. I feel I am exposed to many more brews than I would be on my own. Variety is the spice of life and we are all wise to be open minded. read more

We've been here a couple times. First was for the comedy show and it was PACKED! So understandably there were delays and the wings I ordered were cold in the middle. I took them back and they apologized and threw them back into the heater. They do not have a full kitchen so they have gotten creative in what they offer. My husband enjoyed whatever panini he ordered. Most recently we came in for Sunday Brunch. I had my food of choice already picked before we walked in the door. I wanted that giant beast of a waffle breakfast sandwich!!! Well half of it at least. My husband acquiesced and we placed our order. We sat at the bar so we were well taken care of. I had the bottomless mimosa and he had a variety of beers. The mimosas were well balanced, which is very important to me, they have figured out the formula. The sandwich was delicious, a nice amount of heat, savory and sweet with the syrup, and well made fluffy waffles. When it arrived my husband confirmed with me that we'd only ordered one because clearly this "half" could be a whole. We were in no rush so I was able to pace myself to finish my sandwich and get more than my fair share of mimosas. Trying not to overindulge or I would be here every weekend for this brunch.
