We've been here a couple times. First was for the comedy show and it was PACKED! So understandably there were delays and the wings I ordered were cold in the middle. I took them back and they apologized and threw them back into the heater. They do not have a full kitchen so they have gotten creative in what they offer. My husband enjoyed whatever panini he ordered. Most recently we came in for Sunday Brunch. I had my food of choice already picked before we walked in the door. I wanted that giant beast of a waffle breakfast sandwich!!! Well half of it at least. My husband acquiesced and we placed our order. We sat at the bar so we were well taken care of. I had the bottomless mimosa and he had a variety of beers. The mimosas were well balanced, which is very important to me, they have figured out the formula. The sandwich was delicious, a nice amount of heat, savory and sweet with the syrup, and well made fluffy waffles. When it arrived my husband confirmed with me that we'd only ordered one because clearly this "half" could be a whole. We were in no rush so I was able to pace myself to finish my sandwich and get more than my fair share of mimosas. Trying not to overindulge or I would be here every weekend for this brunch. Having grown up in the sleepy suburbs of Rohnert Park/Cotati, I was extremely shocked to hear that in my short absence, the once lauded Yacht Club had not only closed, but subdivided and turned into a bakery and a taproom! This was a delight due to the definite need of this area for a quality beer joint, and also the blessed close of a neighborhood stomping ground full of memories many of us would rather forget. My husband and I put Flagship on our must see list, and ended up stopping in on Christmas eve, hopeful for a pint to take the edge off any holiday drama. We were pleased to see the place in high spirits (har har), with a surprising number of others with the same idea as us. The co-owner was friendly and helpful, telling us the back story on the taproom and the beers they had chosen. The selection was amazing, with many local fan favorites, and diverse other selections from near and far. I was thrilled with their options for sours, and my mom was stoked to hear they had Guiness on tap, which is the only beer she will drink (no accounting for taste). Not only were the beers ice cold and frothy, but we ordered a plate to nibble and that was delicious too. Our pick was the buffalo chicken grilled cheese pannini, which was the perfect appetizer before the evening festivities. Parking is plentiful in the lot and the surrounding area, and prices are super reasonable for local brews and handcrafted small plates by a local Rancho grad and business owner! It's so refreshing seeing the next generation of Sonoma County coming up through the ranks and making a name for themselves. If I still lived there, I would count this as one of my favorite local beer o'clock hangouts. read more

Cool spot with a limited (but tasty) food menu, impressive selection of (mostly) local beer, and fun weekly events! I stopped by last night for trivia, which had me interested because "Awards" was theme, and the trivia night was based around awards show like the Oscars, Grammys, etc. We showed up early to grab a bite to eat and I got to check out the menu. There's not a ton of variation, and a lot of what you'd expect for the food at a taproom, but the we mixed and matched healthy and unhealthy with a pulled pork quesadilla (wanted tri-tip, but they were out) and a salad with goat cheese, pecans, and chicken. First off, the extra $3 for chicken was ABSOLUTELY worth it, and I found the portion of protein added to the salad was generous and tasty. The quesadilla was also packed with meat, came with a delicious green salsa, and was absolutely worth the messiness that came with it. Taplist was good, with local rarities like HenHouse's Big Chicken, and inexpensive favorites like Lagunitas IPA for just $3.50 a pint. They even had a few sours! We didn't win trivia, but had a blast, and found the host to be friendly and personable. They let us know they have weekly events ranging from tap takeovers, Bingo, Trivia, and brunch on both Saturdays and Sundays. They even host Mario Kart on (I believe) the last Monday of the month. We showed up a couple Sunday's ago after an activity in Rohnert Park. It was late in the afternoon, so the place was pretty empty...until our party of 10 rolled in. The plan was to get some food and a few drinks. Honestly I think we overwhelmed them. The bartender was great. He was very sociable and helpful. We ordered our beer (bonus, it was happy hour too) and threw 10 orders of food at him too. We received our beers immediately at the bar and went back to our table to wait for our food. I then got to check out the place. Pretty nice! The food came out in small waves. Understandable, they probably have a small kitchen and can only do so much at one time. A couple hiccups occurred. I received my ciabatta Buffalo chicken sandwich before my appetizer. After a while, nothing else was coming out. I asked about the item and they said they had nothing else to make, but they'd make mine real quick. No problem. My sandwich was pretty good. It came w/ a bag of chips, but I could have ordered fries for an additional cost. My wife ordered some wings, Buffalo style. We noticed she only ate a couple. She said they tasted funny. My SIL and I, being wing lovers, gave them a quick taste. Bad, very bad. Flavor wasn't Buffalo and it wasn't anything other concoction offered either. Neither one of us could figure it out, but we knew they weren't good. They had a decent beer selection. Everyone was able to find something they liked. I rarely make it down to Cotati. My friend and I walked in pretty late and close to closing time. The staff didn't make us feel rushed at all and were really kind and patient about us ordering and made sure we were happy with our experience! We ordered drinks then growlers to go, and they filled them up to the brim! But honestly what blew me away, was their amazing sense of compassion and generosity. We left the restaurant just before closing time and as the staff cleaned and shut down the restaurant, my friend and I stood outside waiting for an Uber to arrive. The three members of the closing staff tried to wait for us to be picked up safely. We insisted they could leave and assured them that we'd be okay alone. They told us to "feel free to sit in the bench area if we wanted cameras on us", and asked again if we wanted them want them to stay with us. We told them to go home because our Uber was super close! The group of workers went across the street to the parking lot and watched from a distance until we were safely picked up in an Uber. Such quality staff! Thank you for being such caring people! The buffalo wings were good, and served with blue cheese dressing. Sundays are happy hour all day! Therefore the wings were half off. A great deal! The sausage inside the bagel dog was actually really good. They also had a pretty big selection of craft brews. It's not exactly the place you go for dinner, but if you're hungry while drinking beer, fear not. The food is actually decent. read more

So, this place is great in theory (ambiance). Beer, slushes, and food! Super small, The service was terrible, understaffed for the event that was going with normal Friday business. Maybe close next time? Today was the second time I went her, the first time they were ending an event with most people (employees included) drunk before 8 and no food to offer (again, maybe close if you hold private events). This time we order and waited a whole hour for our food! They started to take people's numbers without giving us our food, apparently they hadn't actually placed our food orders (I'm including the large family that ordered 2 pizzas and a pretzel after us). Once we got our food, everything was spicy, which is fine, but was really the only flavor I can describe from both the (BBQ?) Chicken Parm and tri-tip sandwich. Beers on tap are decent, but their Lagunitas Maximus beer (usually a DELICIOUS beer) tasted like it had been on tap for years (skunked). Don't think I will be going back, I do NOT recommend it. read more

Flagship has become one of my favorite places. It's great whether you are just popping by for one, or camping out for a few. They rotate through their taps rather quickly and host some pretty fun tap take overs. They have a prime location with ample parking, and their beer display is one of envy. Flagship has two TVs constantly updating the newest taps and connected to the app Untappd.... being kept up to date on what's fresh, new and trending. The kitchen is modest but don't let that mislead you, I have had some of the best grilled cheeses of my life there. They have trivia nights on thursdays, $2 tacos on Tuesday, and tap take overs every other Wednesday. Not to mention an unbeatable happy hour. My favorite part about Flagship is how upbeat the staff are. It's been a little over a year since I started frequenting there.....but every visit has been greeted with smiles and a great time..... along with amazing beer. Walked in sat at bar one bartender came over and grabbed a laptop that was next to us...no acknowledgement but instead a completely irritated look as though we were intruders. Other bartender also completely ignored us. They were not busy at all and could have simply said "hi we will be right with you" but instead it was though we were invisible. Service was good but the beers were overpriced and the selection was pretty limited for a taproom. The menu was pretty limited too. We ordered pizza and it was very mediocre. It tasted sort of like Microwave pizza. Two beers, two pizzas for $49 and none of it tasted good. Like most places around here, it was very disappointing. read more

First of all, do not rely on any of the menus posted on Yelp because they are over five years old. There are no specials other than taco Tuesday and all of the specials that are on some of the menus under the pictures of the menus are all bogus. Second the food sucks the tacos were tasteless. All three. It didn't matter what kind of meat was in them, but they were tasteless. My bacon and smoked Gouda cheese sandwich was horrible. Hardly any cheese hardly any bacon, in fact, it was so bad I had the girl bring me another one which happen to be a little bit better. This place has no kitchen if I had known that I would've never come. They make the food right there behind the bar. How they do it I have no idea. The gal Jorden behind the bar was very helpful in making me another sandwich so this is not a bad review about her. This is entirely about the horrible food and the expensive beer. Flagship is a cool little spot in Cotati to enjoy some brews and shoot the shit. They have all kinds of rotating taps and the bartenders are pretty knowledgeable about their beers. Their Sunday brunch (10-2 Sat/Sun) is also something worth checking out. If you're wondering if the mimosas are good--they are. And they mean bottomless, which is important to a girl like me. ;) I think it is still developing some character, for it is not as "established" as places like Fogbelt or Cooperage, but still a unique local gem nonetheless. read more

My friends and I came here the other night for their $3 pints. It was a very chill environment. They had a good selection of beers on tap to choose from. I had Stone's Enjoy by 4.20.17 and the Mother Earth Stout. Both were very good. We spent a couple hours playing Jenga and Uno. It was a lot of fun! Finally, a taproom in Cotati! Great selection of local and craft beers, ciders and wines. The drink list changes often and they have drinks specials several nights a week. The interior is clean and bright but sometimes loud. The crowd is diverse and the bartenders are eager to help you find a beer that fits your taste (including samples). Lots of parking directly in front and close to US101 and Sonoma State University. This place will soon be the highlight of the Cotati Crawl. Nice new taproom in downtown cotati! They had a few kegs of sours when I first visited for sf sour beer fest! They also had a triple IPA by henhouse the next time I visited! Apparently this is a tap room that was opened by former ssu students so I really want to support local. The only thing I can say is, It seems that most of the beertenders there have never had any experience in the service industry because they seem to be far more interested in texting or watching tv, rather than engaging with their guests. Both times I've been there, I've been told "this is the good part" in a movie so Me and bf had to wait to order, then the second time the female beertender was turned around towards the cash register texting and seemed absolutely antisocial and disinterested in serving or getting to know possible future patrons. Get some people skills :) Also, the food menu needs work. Stick to charcuterie and cheese plates. Things that don't need to be microwaved if you have no kitchen. I want this place to thrive! This place would likely be OK for most people, but I found it to be a bit lacking in a number of areas. When I arrived, the place was nearly empty, but I felt that I was pulling the bartenders away from their chatting with one another. They definitely weren't too interested in making sure that I was helped. I actually like the fact that you have to order food yourself, but I was surprised when the food that came out seemed to come from Costco, or some similar place. Like, rubbery, microwaved food. They have a pretty good beer list, but given the service, this place doesn't compete with other places in the general area that have better service, better food, and a comparable taplist. What they really need to do is increase the quality of their service, and offer house-made food that (if necessary) doesn't need to be cooked, such as cheese plates, etc. Otherwise, I see this place going under in about six months' time. read more

Found this place last minute late at night when we were hungry. We didnt realize they did not offer the full menu after 930pm but the bartender was awesome and made us tritip salads which is what attracted us here. Overall love the decor and atmosphere. Went there today for lunch, the bartender was excellent, the food was great but the waitress was so rude. Maybe she was having a bad day but no need to be rude to customers. Even gave her a second chance and she proved to be rude the second time around as well.
