And I've come to the defense of poorly rated business a ton of times bc most reviewers are idiots whose expectations are so far out of line with reality it's fucking scary. But there's a reason I'm going to start driving out of the Beltway for just about anything that requires a decent level of service, because you're just not going to get it here. Flagship's reviews are horrible for a reason, at least the local ones. I'm not expecting detail level service for my run of the mill CR-V but these guys didn't even touch the inside of the back windshield. I was on the GWP before I noticed. The interior vacuum job was subpar too. It's a $40 car wash, $45 with tip. GMAFB, why do so many things just suck here, never saw this in NYC, Boston, Chicago or even LA. read more

Charged 44$ for full service car wash. Which was to include tire shine among other things. Windshield still had smashed bugs on it after wash. When we pointed out the interior had not been vacuumed in certain areas the woman acted angry. Unfortunately this area only has a few car washes and this one was the closet to our apt. read more

I am very happy with the service I received at Flagship Carwash in McLean, Virginia. I have taken my car to other car washes before, and they did not do a good job. My car was extremely dirty inside and out due to the snow, especially with my children bringing snow into the car and onto the mats. I took my car in this morning, and they really took their time and did an excellent job. I even asked for one of the employee's names, and I can honestly say that Zeida and her team did a wonderful job. I will definitely be coming back and highly recommend this location. read more

The bird poop on the windshield was till there, the front grill of the car was not even wiped and the interior was barely wiped, which is why I purchased that package...this is not worth your money. I ordered the flagship exterior and interior package. The car wasn't clean when I was finished. The back of my suv wasn't vacuumed. The windows still had dirt on them and the exterior had dirty spots everywhere. I pointed it out and they vacuumed the back and did a cursory wipe but it was still dirty. This place is HORRIBLE! We took our car for a wash for the first time on the 23rd of this month. It turned out they damaged our car! Actually while our car went through the automatic system, we noticed the machine was stopped in the middle of the process and a guy came out did some check up and he went back into the room started the system again. Unfortunately we realized it was the cause for our car damage after we got home! We paid $44 for the premium wash and did not notice any difference compare with the cheaper price, today we have to pay $335 for fix the damage this company caused! Super sleek intake, 2 lanes, personnel with a tablet and marks your windshield with the wash you've paid for. Like many carwashes, this place started out strong, but the service has already gone down hill. While I love that this is a full service car wash that will vacum and clean your car inside and out, the execution isn't always great and can result in more work for you. I was there yesterday for the full flagship service. For my car, this includes washing the weathertec mats, etc. The mats weren't shaken off before they were put back in the car, so they were literally swimming in water, which i didn't initially realize when I got back in the car. The pooling water on the drivers side made the bottom of my shoes so wet they kept slipping off the gas and break pedals. I had put my laptop bag behind the drivers seat and the bottom was soaked through. Such a bummer. An additional problem was the cleaning of the inside front and back windows. they were so streaked it was hard to see - especially with sun glare. I had to immediately pull into the nearby BP gas station to get paper towels to mop up the water and to try to clean the windows. I'll have the go after the windows with windex again this morning. Of course, you don't realize any of these issues before you drive the car off the lot, which you are under pressure to do quickly when it is busy. I'll definitely be looking for a new place. read more

Why is it so difficult to find a good car wash? I'll say that the new Flagship in Ashburn is the place to go but since I was in McLean and this is now under Flagship ownership, I decided to not make the drive out to Ashburn...mistake...The people are friendly enough but at the end of the day your car isn't clean and dried properly. I was watching the women dry my car and they put no effort into it. Take their towels and do a light swipe...leave water and soap all over my back trunk area. The windows are still spotty as well as the sides...unreal. Not going back to this car wash again. I'm not happy about Embassy, and other long term car washes being all bought up by Flagship. Few independent places remain now. Their prices are higher, although you can get monthly plans, if you're obsessed about a pretty car. I'm a once every three months or so type. Am happy that Flagship kept folks, gainfully employed as they took over. That is a positive. Nice people working here. It can get busy at times. Yet they are certainly efficient. The waiting area allows you to wash your ride go through the automated part. For the most part the inside and outside part of your vehicle will be vastly improved. I visited this location on a relatively quiet Saturday, paying a hefty $36 for a car wash, but the experience was disappointing. The wipe-down was sloppy, leaving visible water spots, and my windows still had streaks and smudges. The vacuuming was poorly done as well. There's no designated waiting area, so you're left standing outside, watching your car go through the wash--which doesn't feel like a comfortable, proper waiting space. Pricey and terrible service. My car also was behind a car that got stuck in the car wash and my car bumped into it. They didn't acknowledge it and my car has been having technical/camera issues since. Not sure if cause of the bump or them messing with the system by touching the controls in the car. What a major disappointment....on two levels. 1) This place is no embassy car wash. Those folks gave you a wonderful wash at about half what Flagship charges. 2) out of 3 flagship car washes I've been to (Manassas, Vienna, and McLean) this one is the ABSOLUTE WORST! You name it, they missed the mark. Car came out with soap still on the rear end. Glass was missed on part of the inside of the car. When spraying gloss on the tires, they managed to spray the stuff on the clean car and did not bother to wipe it off. The vacuum job was haphazardly done. I might have let one or two things slide but when paying top dollar for their premium wash....this was not a premium effort. I've been to this car was a couple times when I simply don't have time to wash my car myself. 15 minutes and I was in and out on a busy Sunday afternoon. That's what this place is good for - a quick car wash. Quick, not quality. On my last trip I actually saw an older gentleman cleaning his own wheels after they said his car was complete. I had to do the same. On the same trip, an older lady ended up wiping down her car. Both of their wheels were shiny, so I know they paid at least $20. I paid $20 for my "Deluxe" car wash and will probably end up spending another 45-60 minutes finishing the job. Update: I visited on a sunny Saturday in July 2018. I could have written my previous review again. Nothing has changed. This place is awful. I see no measurable difference between the $14, $17, and $20 car washes. If you're going to go, pay the $14 and don't waste any more money. read more

They immediately raised prices without notice. i started looking into their charges and noticed several unexplained charges. I called main office 10 times a day for 3 weeks straight and people never answered. I went to Woodbridge location 3 times trying to have monthly service only to get run around. i finally forced To cancel my credit card to get them to stop the UNAUTHORIZED charges. read more

I had a membership and when I went for a car wash the associate said my membership was expired and I needed to start a new one. They offered me a deal of $44 to renew for the month and I paid it. The next day I was charged the normal membership $74.99. I went to the Fairfax location and their associate told me the guy in McLean "lied to me" and I had two active memberships. The worst part is I emailed their corporate office and they responded letting me know they cancelled one of the memberships and let me know it would expire at the end of the month- no refund offered. When I followed up there was no response. I just did a chat and had someone helpful explain more to me and let me know they couldn't do a refund because I said I would dispute after I had no response so that is the route I need to take. read more
