    Micro scratches in paint
    Alex Z.

What a genuinely terrible car wash job. Was at the mall so decided to get my car washed. They left micro scratches in the paint and straight up skipped one entire window and side mirror.

there is more white wax left in the trims

I paid exterior with premium hand wax service and I got nothing out of it. cause I already had my car ceremaic coated and ppf its glossy because of that. Not because of this scam works they done. I am so disappointed and as a customer. I will never go here. not worth of paying money. I feel like my precious paint got scratched because of their attitude working style

Actual robbery - do not come here. I thought "Oh 2 stars - most carwashes I go to are lowly rated"…read morebut I should have read the reviews. DO NOT COME HERE. First red flag - their "basic" wash is 30$ or they are trying to convince you to get an unlimited membership. I am not in the area that much so no I am not going to be a member. You could see the swindlers were really bummed when I said no 3x. Secondly, you go through the car wash and it last maybe 15 seconds...I kid you not. Washing and drying in less than 30 seconds, Exxon has a longer car wash. Afterwards I was confused - where are the shammy and the free vacuums? Then I realized the sad, twisted truth - vacuums are not free. They charge $4 for 8 minutes of vacuuming...which after a 30 DOLLAR 30 SECOND CAR WASH, is actually being robbed. Other reviews are right - they dont want you to shammy here hence they lack shammies - I did not care, I parked my car and wiped it off with the one I had in my car. The vacuum lot is extremely hard to turn around in as well. Do NOT GO HERE save your money.

Deeply disappointed with Mr. Wash. The machine left my car incompletely washed and dried, and to top it off, the manager informed me that vacuums are a separate $4 charge. In all my years using tunnel washes, I have never once encountered a pay-to-vacuum policy. Every other car wash, regardless of location or price, includes vacuums as part of the basic experience. The problems didn't stop there. There were no towels or paper towels available -- just a bare-bones setup clearly designed to cut costs while maximizing charges. The service technicians were inattentive and unhelpful, and the lane attendant directing me into the tunnel provided zero guidance, resulting in me curbing my wheel on the way in. This place charges a premium and delivers well below average. Poor value, poor service, poor execution. I won't be returning and would strongly caution others before spending their money here.

Advice: have a dealership telling you that you need thousands in car fixes? Come here before you…read moresign off. Due to a Honda recall, I dropped my car off across the street at the Honda dealership. I received a call saying my timing belt was rotted, I had multiple oils leaks, water pump problems, and more! All totaling about $2,900. I promptly called Schmitz's on the recommendation of a coworker and explained the situation. Al assured me that I could bring it by when Honda was done and he would review the quote and give me an honest answer on what my car actually needed. Later that afternoon, I dropped my car off and went over the list with Al. He went out with me to take a look under the hood, kindly showing me that my car doesn't even have a timing belt! The serpentine belt and timing chain were clearly fine. I went back to work and got a call about an hour later with a recommendation on two things to fix now and a couple to keep an eye out on over the next two years. It was fixed by the end of the day. He could have taken Honda's quote and said yep that is all true and charged me just a little less. But instead Al took the time to show and explain, thoroughly "diagnose" my car, and handle it all in a couple of hours. By the way, it cost me less than $500. I will 100% be back when my car needs it.

At first I was thrilled as the service manager was nice enough and I enjoyed going there. -This past weekend it changed dramatically and NOPE will never go back. Backstory- called roughly 2 weeks ago because my car needed some items done. We agreed that because the parking lot is small, I'd swing the car over to have them look at it so they could order the parts Saturday- stopped in and someone I've never seen before essentially refused to look at my broken mirror. Saying "well I can tell you now you need a new mirror" ironic considering he hadn't step foot from behind the counter. As he was "too busy" LUCKILY A SHOP WASNT "TOO BUSY"- walked out of there vowing to never go back and called another shop in Falls Church. The gentleman said "bring it on by. Happy to look at it" went to that shop and the nice guy not only looked at it but showed me the parts online to order (spoiler I don't need a new mirror) so I could save money from buying through a dealer. He then went as far as to remove the hanging pieces so they wouldn't damage the paint In conclusion- Schmitz managed to lose out on a broken mirror (purchase and replacement) fixing the cable for the gas tank, oil change, emissions and state inspection, and a car wash all because the guy "was too busy" I suggest finding other places that value customers

I've trusted them with routine detailing and even had my vehicle ceramic coated here, which is why this situation was so disappointing. On my most recent visit, I paid extra for an interior and engine spiff up, but the interior was clearly not properly cleaned - surfaces were not properly wiped down and it appeared to have only been vacuumed. I also specifically asked that the inside of the hood be wiped due to salt buildup from recent snow and was told it would be taken care of. When I got home and opened the hood to check, the secondary hood safety latch was broken. This had never been an issue before and raises concern about potential damage while the vehicle was being handled. I reached out to Kian (owner/manager?) twice to ask whether they had any issues opening the hood, hoping to understand what happened and address a vehicle damage issue. Both messages were read, yet I never received a response. Mistakes happen, but when there is a possibility of expensive damage to a customer's vehicle - especially from a loyal, long-term customer - the lack of any response is highly disappointing and unprofessional. I was genuinely hoping for at least the common courtesy of a reply. UPDATE: repair cost was $350
